Offering a spacious and well equipped environment with a fantastic outdoor garden, Faith Montessori Nursery offers spaces for children aged from 6 months to 5 years old.

Faith is conveniently situated on Stanstead Road in Forest Hill and offers inclusive, imaginative and STEM activities for children with dedicated play rooms for the baby rooms (6months-2yrs), toddler rooms (2-3yrs) and preschool rooms (3-5yrs). The setting opens from 8am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year and is closed on bank holidays and over the Christmas period.

The nursery’s aim is that every child should have the opportunity to realise their own individual potential, by providing high quality childcare and additional support when required.

Faith is a welcoming environment for my daughter, with a dedicated and kind staff, who attend to her needs as well as providing stimulating and fun activities. There seems to be a strong team ethos, and the same key workers have been caring for my daughter since she started in November 2023. I can't
fault their energy and professionalism, and they do a wonderful job.
Special mention for the nursery's activities for World Book Day in March, the nursery had lots of creative themed displays and activities, and parents could drop in at set times of the day to see their children at play!
The food is balanced and nutritious as well as homemade.

Our two daughters go to this nursery. Dedicated people. The aunties love the children, and they love them too.
We track their activities on the app, and they do plenty of things.
The food is good. That was quite important for us.
There is diversity, which is nice to see from both sides, staff and
children. Very inclusive. The children are always treated in a lovely manner.
My oldest has learned potty training fairly well there.
They accommodate our needs, and they are very nice people.
Perhaps the place inside looks a bit chaotic, but our children feel loved, and the organisation regarding pick-ups, payments, comms, etc, is excellent.

My daughter always leaves this nursery smiling. All the aunties are so friendly and nurturing; I feel she’s in safe hands.
They do wonderful activities with the children and let them play and explore. I know she’s eating good nutritious food and learning everything appropriate for her age group. She
seems to be thriving here.
My daughter has some hearing loss, and the staff have been very accommodating and supportive.

My two daughters have both attended Faith Montessori four days a week since they were a year old (now 4 and 7). We’ve been really happy with the nursery, both children have been happy there, which matters most! They have clearly had good relationships with the ‘aunties’, who have remained the same for
years. They clearly have great staff retention, which is a good sign and less disruptive for the little ones. If you want a nursery that has cameras in the rooms and loads of written feedback, this probably isn’t the nursery you. It has a homely feel, always smells of cooking, and the staff are warm and motherly. It’s also one of the most affordable in the area. We will be sad to say goodbye when our youngest starts school in September.

Our son started at Faith when he was nine months old and he’s now two and a half years old. We absolutely love all the aunties who work there, the family feel, the activities, the yearly parent evenings, the weekly observations, etc. Our son is always happy to go and talks very fondly of his key workers.
We have moved 30 minutes away from there when he was just over one and have still chosen to keep him there. Highly recommend this loving nursery!

My son has attended Faith since he was 20 months old. He is now three years old and loves it there. The staff are all very caring. The food is freshly made every day with two hot meals included. It is also very flexible being able to accommodate extra days when I need to suit my work commitments.

Our little boy started in the baby room at Faith in October 2023. He is very happy there, and we have been so impressed by the lovely environment they create and the range of sensory activities on offer. The menu is balanced and nutritious, and whatever is cooking, always smells delicious when we arrive

Nothing bad to say. The staff are friendly, attentive and great. The food options are good, and have been very supportive of the SEN progress of my daughter. Would defo recommend them to anyone. Happy I chose them for my child.

The team at Faith Montessori are just wonderful. Both of my children have attended. They're knowledgeable and caring. My daughter runs in every morning. I collect her with a smile on her face in the afternoon. I'm so glad that we chose this nursery.

Faith is the most nurturing and wonderful environment. The Aunties are all so caring, kind and thoughtful; they do so much with the children, and always go the extra mile with activities. Our daughter runs in, in the morning, as she loves it there so much. Can't recommend them enough.

I have both my kids at this nursery!
And I loved it so much! I saw my kids asking to go back every pickup time! Sometimes they didn’t even want to leave! The staff's relationship with the kids is simply beautiful!
They are very kind and loving people! I really will miss them and my kids even more
so!

I don’t have enough words of gratitude for the time spent in this nursery. Our daughter loved going there and developed very strong relationships with all the aunties and in particular with her key worker. They have a family setting and the children are nurtured with motherly care. We had to change
nursery unfortunately due to us moving home and this was one of the saddest decisions we had to take! Strongly recommend this nursery!

The aunties at Faith provide really loving and nurturing care to my daughter and all the children at Faith Nursery. It’s more like a second home run by family members (hence the children referring to them as aunties). The staff there are typically older and more experienced and the staff turnover is
very low so the children form strong and healthy attachments to the caregivers which makes parents leaving them at drop-off so much easier. The nursery has wonderful play spaces and follows EYF so the children are all well equipped and supported to learn and play. Also, the food is freshly cooked and rich in vegetables and spices and flavours - I wish I could eat the food my daughter is lucky enough to enjoy. It is a diverse and inclusive nursery and we are very lucky to have found it. My daughter has made firm friends for life. Highly recommend.

My son attended Faith Nursery for about 10 months and he really enjoyed his time there. They were genuinely interested in his development. The aunties were friendly and nice. We had to leave because we moved house but I would have been very comfortable leaving my son there through Preschool as well.

My only son goes to this nursery and the staff are wonderful!
My son loves going every single day, staff are always warm and welcoming and there are plenty of activities for him to do.
I would recommend it to parents in the area.

Both of my sons have attended this nursery and it has been a very pleasant experience for them. From toddler room to preschool class, I have noticed how my sons have grown with confidence and picked up a number of skills while attending here. All the staff are polite and professional. I would not choose
any other nursery for my sons.
Every time they went to nursery they came home so happy and expressed how they have enjoyed themselves. The facilities and the resources they have is at a good standard, and clean. They are also well organised.

The nursery opened in April 2004. I initially qualified as a Software Engineer and worked in IT for many years. After having my son, I decided to open a nursery that better represented my philosophy and ethos of looking after children. It took five years to open the nursery and although my son missed out on attending the nursery, my other two children attended. I am married and have 3 (now grown-up children of my own). I retrained in childcare and now have many childcare qualifications including an EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status).


I have a passion for children and believe every child should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential.


My goal is to provide the highest quality of care and staff and also to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment for your child to make the best progress they can.


I believe that every child should be given all they need to enable them to reach their own individual potential.


Our aim is to provide you the peace of mind and reassurance that your child will be lovingly cared for.


I have an amazing staff who work tirelessly to deliver excellent service to all our children and also to you the parents/carers.

I have worked in Early Years for over 10 years and hold a Level 3 Childcare in Early Years qualification, Montessori Qualification along with a BA Honours Degree in Communication Sciences/ Film Making.


After working on a film project with children and entering in their world, I decided to change my career. I started with Montessori training which opened the wide world and then did a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and a Diploma in Speech and Language. I also have a level 3 SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).


I was welcomed into the FMN family in 2008 and all the years working at the nursery have given me the opportunity to continue my learning journey.


I believe in supporting each child in their individual learning journey and I am passionate about supporting those with special educational needs by providing a warm, stimulating and welcoming environment in which children and staff can engage and explore. I like to make the day as fun as possible and also to support the children’s communication with the use of props and Makaton.
