*These fees are payable after either the 15 hours or 30 hours a week government-funded NEG (nursery education grant) has been applied. A child becomes eligible for this reduction the term after their third birthday. The standard monthly fee, paid in advance by standing order, has been calculated over 49 weeks of the year and then divided by 12 months. Fees are reviewed annually. Alternative daily attendance times: 8.00am - 5.30pm / 8.30am - 6.00pm / 9.00am - 6.30pm (Standard Day) and 9.00am - 3.00pm or 10.00am – 4.00pm (School Day). Morning and afternoon sessions are available on request and can be part of your regular monthly schedule. Morning sessions run from 8.30am – 1.00pm and afternoon sessions from 1.00pm – 6.00pm. Whilst the nursery is unable to swap days, emergency cover can be arranged where available. This will be charged at an ad-hoc hourly rate of £12.50 for under 2 years and £11.50 over 2 years. Early drop-off 8.00am and late pick-up 6.30pm are available to extend any of the alternative daily attendance times on a monthly basis @ £6.00 for each 30min extension. We require 1 full weeks notice before the start of a month to make any changes to this arrangement. The 30min extensions can also be requested on a ‘one off’ basis with 24 hours notice subject to availability. A 10% sibling discount will apply to the lowest monthly fee. The over two year rate applies from the 1st of the month following the child’s birth date. Please note: There is no reduction in fees for absence due to holidays or sickness.

The Review Score of 8.1 (8.069) out of 10 for Little Angels Day Nursery & Pre-School Highbury is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.1 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 5.000 for Little Angels Day Nursery & Pre-School Highbury is calculated as follows: ( (12 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 5
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 3.069 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Angels Day Nursery & Pre-School Highbury is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:
The 5 points available are broken down as follows:
i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3
ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 72 number of registered child places is 14.4. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 14.4 = 0.069
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Manager
Joined: 2003
I began working at Little Angels in 2003 while studying for my BA (Hons) in New Media Journalism with Media Studies. After working alongside children for many years, I also qualified for the EYPS (Early Years Professional Status).
I am the Room Senior for children aged 2-5 years. My duties include overseeing the daily running of the room, ensuring activities provided for the children are linked to the seven areas of the EYFS, supporting staff with their roles as Keyworkers and ensuring safety measures and risk assessments are carried out regularly.
I am also the nursery EYP which means I am responsible for overseeing our practice as a whole; ensuring a high-quality play-based learning environment is always provided, keeping up to date with current developments and research in the Early Years and providing CPD training for staff. As part of this role, I help develop a culture of reflective practice through self-assessment leading to quality improvement and systems for effective planning, observations, assessment and record keeping. I am also the Parent Liaison officer; the first point of contact for parents when their children are potty training or making transitions between rooms as well as being there to support staff in their roles as key workers.
Job Title: Office Manager
Joined: 2015
I have been the Office Manager since August 2015. I have four children and three grandchildren of my own. All of my grandchildren have been most fortunate to be able to attend our wonderful nursery. Before joining Little Angels, I was a private nanny. After getting bored of the financial world, I managed to obtain a Diploma in Childcare. My role is to facilitate the smooth running of the office and to ensure the safeguarding of the children as soon as they enter the nursery. I am a point of contact for the parents, and I also have the great pleasure of occasionally playing with the children when I can.
