In the last two months, I see a lack of management within the nursery. No nursery manager for a few months now, no announcement made when she left. Now the second in charge is also off for more than two weeks and we have no information as to why staff are leaving. Overall, I do not see the same level
of engagement as I have seen in the past. Staff don't seem to be very energetic or enthusiastic with few exceptions. It would be good to see the nursery back on track, as I have nearly two years association with it and it is now at an all time low.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We can confirm that we have had a field manager supporting the nursery full time who is currently enjoying 1 week annual leave. Our third in charge has still been supporting the nursery throughout this period. There are some occasions where whilst we would like to share information with our families we need to maintain staff confidentiality. A number of parent memos have been sent to families recording information about who is supporting the nursery in terms of management and we have shared information about the new manger joining us on 1st August. If you would like to discuss these matters further please contact the nursery directly who will be able to offer further information.

My daughter has been in the pre-school room for almost a year and I have seen her learn so much. I've very positive comments. Her pre-school teachers/carers have taught her to hold her pencils/pens with a good pencil-grip for writing/drawing.

We are delighted we chose Bright Horizons Canada Square as they have been fantastic with our son since he joined last year. We were made to feel very welcome and given lots of help (for both him and me!) to get settled in. The nursery itself is always spotless and the staff work exceptionally hard with
the children by engaging them in lots of fun and games! There is always a cheerful greeting in the mornings from everyone and helpful feedback at end of day on how he’s gotten on. Keep up the great work!

The nursery makes parents and children feel extremely welcome. Every member of staff seems to know my son's name. My son is very happy here, thanks to the attentiveness of staff, the varied activities, learning experiences suited to his care and the excellent menus provided.

My experience with Bright Horizons Canada Square has been extremely positive.
My daughter has adapted very quickly - and I did not expect that as she has always been very attached to me. I am very satisfied of this nursery because I do see how happy she is there and at times she would almost not want
to leave when we go to pick her!
I am also very happy of the management and carers, I see their dedication to all babies and how they listen and implement all family requests. This has been very important to us.
Her time at the nursery has almost come to an end as we are leaving the UK and I am sad to have to take her off it.
I do sincerely hope to find a nursery where she will fit in just as well where we are going to move.
Keep up the good work.

I am very happy with the nursery and would highly recommend the nursery. Given the weather in this country you cannot take kids outside, but Bright Horizons Canada Square has very good and spacious indoor garden which overcomes the limitation of weather. Also, the staff is amazing. Not only does the
staff take good care but also almost all the carers have a special bond with each child in the room. My son started when he was 6 months old and now he is 1 year old. I see that he is already independent and is growing into a happy child.

Overall it is great, but the management running the school should demonstrate more ethical professionalism. Transparency should not be defined as you do first and tell later, but take in confidence before you do anything. My daughter who has been a part of this school for about a year now, and recently
got her elbow dislocated in the school. We were called and told after a couple of weeks that the school went behind our back to consult the council and social worker telling them we lift our child by her arms and can it be a concern. I don't recall doing it with her dislocated elbow which defeats all the senses, but any time if she noticed, then it was her professional courtesy and duty to confront the parents and say it is not correct. I have no complaints with the staff but leaders in the school should be more professional and execute their duties without being defensive.

We have seen our daughter grow in confidence. She is happy to go to the nursery and she takes the nursery staff names during the weekend. Her communication skills have approved too. The staff at Bright Horizon are welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter is attending Baby 2 group and all I can say is that thanks to the teachers and staff there she settled amazingly quickly. Everyone there gives their absolute best to make sure the children are safe and happy, and the feedback I get every time is always helpful, constructive and considerate.
I am especially glad to be always greeted warmly every time I am in to drop my child off or pick her up, and it means a lot to both of us that the staff are so friendly and available for any questions or concerns. Every other aspect of the nursery itself so far has been great- the food, the toys, the activities, overall everything!

My son loves Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool. The level of attention he gets from the staff is fantastic and his development (physically, mentally and socially) has been excellent. The quality and extensive nature of the facilities available to him allow him to challenge himself
every day, to learn new and exciting things and to have lots of fun in the process. The limited outside space is more than made up for by the daily trips outside.


Management are very much on the ball supporting their staff in every way possible and always seeking feedback from parents to ensure the service they provide is the best it can possibly be. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool.

Management and staff are excellent. Location and hours are very convenient for working parents. The lack of outdoor space is compensated by a large indoor play area and regular excursions to surrounding parks. The nursery manager is very approachable and listens to loads of feedback which I personally
find great. There is constant effort to facilitate communication with the parents. Overall, very happy about the choice.

My daughter has attended this nursery for just 2 months (a couple of days per week) and I’m really impressed with how well the staff have helped to settle her. I find the carers as well as the management staff to be warm, supportive and professional. Baby room 2 staff are exceptional, they are very
welcoming and always have time to give me feedback even when they are clearly busy/in the middle of something.


The information documented on my daughter’s progress is outstanding and you can tell they have really taken the time to get to know her and observe her developmental stages.


I think more wholewheat foods should be incorporated into the food menu and healthier desserts too but the frequency of meals and snacks is perfect.


There is no outdoor space but they do have a huge indoor playground which my daughter absolutely loves, it would be great to get some more toys/apparatus for the playground.


My daughter has had a great experience at this nursery. I highly recommend it.

Overall an excellent experience so far. Staff are friendly, attentive and do the little extra things that matter. Wipes his nose, meets me at the door of the room so I don’t take shoes off. Greeted with big smiles every day which sets the tone that they care!

This is an excellent nursery - I'd have no qualms in recommending to anyone!


The staff in Baby room 2 are outstanding; they are very caring, affectionate, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always have time to talk regarding my child.


Every day children are prepared fresh, balanced meals

– which are excellent.


Facilities wise, the nursery is very modern and very well equipped. Learning and activities are excellent and every week/month there are different events with a specific focus.


Whilst the nursery does not have an outdoor space attached, this is not an issue as the children are taken out daily (pending weather of course!) for exercise and fresh air.


The management team are excellent; they are very approachable and competent in dealing with queries or issues.


I have nothing but good things to say about this nursery.

I have a level 3 in childcare and a level 3 management qualification. I have worked in childcare since I left school and this still remains a passion of mine, watching them grow and sharing the first few years of each child’s life with them.
