Little Cherubs Nursery pride themselves on being a small family run company that keeps the welfare and care of children at the heart of everything they do.

In 2000 the nursery opened the first nursery in Sydenham and the second in Shortlands 4 years later. Both nurseries are run by a dedicated Management team, some of whom has been with the company since opened.

They are committed to finding the best possible staff to provide parents with the peace of mind, knowing that their child is being cared for in a safe, healthy and loving environment.

The nursery aims to meet the needs of all children and families.

Staff will work together to support the parents and children throughout their time at Little Cherubs by building strong, positive relationships between Children, parents and the staff team.

There is an inclusive environment which enables the children to express themselves freely and provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment, that is bright, warm and inviting.

The children’s individual needs and interests are supported as they develop and grow.

Lovely setting with very friendly staff members who truly care.
The staff prepare lots of stimulating activities throughout the day and the nursery invests in having external providers deliver a range of sessions.
My child is happy here and loves coming to nursery. I am an extremely happy parent.

We couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. Our boy joined when he was just 18 months old and will be leaving this week as a kind, confident 4-year-old kid who is set up and so excited for big school. Over the years the fabulous team have supported us through dropping naps, toilet training and
the separation anxiety phases - calling us up after tough drop-offs to reassure us that he was fine (when we weren't!). They have such a fun approach to learning and endless creativity across both daily activities and the big events they have organised over the years. The communication is fantastic and the management team couldn't be more friendly. We have never felt the need to worry about his safety or happiness. And most importantly our son has loved his time there!

Our 3-year-old son has been at Little Cherubs since he was 10 months old, we have always been happy with our choice to send him here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.
Since the early days of his transition away from spending all his time with us, to navigating some challenging
behaviours of toddlerhood, I have always felt that he (and I) have been well supported by the staff.
The variety of food is brilliant, and the activities - both external people coming in and what they plan for them - are excellent, I always feel confident that his development is being well supported.
We've had positive experiences with all the staff members we have dealt with, and his safety and security have never been in question.

Our son has been attending Little Cherubs since he was a baby (he's now about to move up to the preschool room) and we're very happy to have chosen this nursery for him. The staff are caring and helpful, they get to know the children well and support them in their development as they progress through
the different age groups. Our son is clearly happy and engaged at nursery and he loves the weekly Yoga, Mandarin and Spanish classes.

Our experience of Little Cherubs has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff are so engaged, caring and helpful. Thanks to this care and attention, our child is thriving socially and we are amazed by her general development during her time in the Little Learners room and in Pre-School. The staff
handled this transition between classes brilliantly and were instrumental in helping our child to become fully potty trained at the same time. This is not to mention the simple fact that our child is so happy there. I couldn't recommend Little Cherubs highly enough.

My daughter had a fabulous time here at Little Cherubs. Any concerns I had were dealt with quickly and we were made very comfortable. My daughter was very nervous as she isn't great around big groups but always come out of nursery happy and with a big smile on her face.

We were recommended Little Cherubs by a friend and it has not disappointed, my son joined in June 2023 and is now in Little Learners and he absolutely loves it and settled in so quickly. The staff are really caring and approachable, you feel like you are leaving your child in safe hands. I can see in
my son's development that he is getting the right support and care that he needs. We are glad to have found a nursery that we love and that my son loves.

My child has been at Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool almost six months and loves it there. The staff are caring, kind and straightforward. They have the most important job in the world, as far as I am concerned, so it's crucial that we have trust in them and have developed good relationships. The
nursery itself is welcoming and fun. On-site cook means food is always fresh, nutritious and varied. The menu is phenomenal! The nursery arranges lots of activities for parents including first aid training which was super useful. We visited other nurseries in the area and we knew straight away that Little Cherubs was the right one for us. We are very grateful to have found them.

If you’re looking for a great start/strong foundation for your child, I’ll say this is the nursery to go to. I definitely recommend. I had a great experience with my son and now my daughter. They are doing a great and amazing job. My daughter was born during Covid and I was so worried about how she
was going to cope with being at a nursery but believe me when I say after a month her interaction with other children was amazing, her learning skills were excellent. The other great thing about Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool is the manager, she is so understanding and very much approachable. Talk of the staff, they are so friendly, respectful and helpful to parents. Am totally happy and appreciative of the nursery.

My son joined Little Cherubs Sydenham in the Baby room at the start of the year and we couldn’t be happier with the care he receives there and how he has settled in. Right from Day 1 the staff have been so lovely, really getting to know him, ensuring he is happy at nursery. I have been really impressed
at how caring all the staff are and how they go above and beyond to do so many lovely activities with the children. It is so reassuring knowing he is so well looked after and that he enjoys going to nursery so much.

The staff are caring and amazing, they look after the children like their own. Very informative with progresses and also reach/inform should changes need to be made. My son has been going to the nursery for 3 years and every day he looks forward to going into nursery.

What a delightful nursery! Our little one settled in so quickly and clearly loves it there. The staff are very switched on, diligent and enthusiastic in their roles, always on the lookout for the varying needs of the children. The food is nutritious and the range is great, and my little one has been
putting on very healthy weight since joining. There's clearly also proper effort by the team/management to come up with thoughtful and creative ways to engage the children in all sorts of ways. Our keyworker, who is just superb!) and the others in my son's room are all just terrific. Having been part of other settings that don't necessarily have the consistency and quality that we've seen here, we're just very relieved to have found a nursery like this one.

It was indeed an exciting journey for us as parents and our daughter at Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool, this being her 1st nursery experience in the UK.
We are glad that we found a spot for our girl in this nursery, as it gave us an amazing experience and landed our little one more confident and
independent than ever. We really appreciate the management and staff for maintaining a conducive, comforting and an absolutely engaging set-up. My little one stayed there for close to three months (left just because of relocation) and loved going to the nursery every day after getting settled. Important to mention that the settling-in was smooth in itself. Can’t thank the staff and the management enough.
A highly recommended nursery. I still miss receiving my daughter’s daily learning journey updates through their amazing ‘eylog’ app.

All staff are welcoming and cheerful. Wonderful group of people, good communication between the nursery and parents. Management team are very helpful and understanding, they try their best to accommodate your needs. My son loves going to nursery and he speaks all the time about his teachers in a happy
way. My son has his favourite teachers. Highly recommend to any parents. My son has passed through all the classes at Little Cherubs Sydenham, from 8 months to 4 years. Great experience straight through.

My son has had a very enjoyable experience at Little Cherubs.


They have a variety of activities and additional visits for Mandarin, French and sports lessons from external providers, as well as lots of fun games and learning mixed in.


Good balanced diet with healthy protein options for snacks.


The small garden area is used well with an annual farm trip being organised for older children.


Despite the challenges of covid and staff changes the happiness of the children is prioritised. The staff are always welcoming with a big smile.

My son has attended Little Cherubs Nursery from 10 months old and is now three years old getting ready to leave for pre-school, since being there he has learned a lot and is a very confident little boy, the support from the nursery in working at home to help your child progress is excellent, this is
where he learnt to walk, talk, count, say his Abc's, be potty trained and many more things. The staff are also very friendly and easily approachable, I would recommend Little Cherubs Nursery to anybody I know looking for a nursery, my son has enjoyed his time there, and we would like to thank the team for all their time, care and effort they have put in with helping him to excel to now be able to enjoy his new adventures.

Our daughter started going to Little Cherubs when she was eight months old and spent three and a half years there before we moved out of London.
My wife and I looked at a few nurseries before choosing Little Cherubs but they were easily our favourite.
The staff were warm and friendly and the premises
were safe, clean and we thought our daughter would develop better there, and we haven't regretted that choice.
She loves going to nursery and is always ready for home at there end of the day.
She learned to walk, talk, eat, dress herself, count, write and spell at Little Cherubs, not to mention play and we will be forever grateful to all the staff for all the care and patience and understanding that they showed her over the years.
Our daughter is a very happy, balanced and bright four year old and Little Cherubs have contributed so much to that.

I have tears like I am the one who was attending and now I am leaving. Exactly 2 years ago, my daughter was attending her first week at Little Cherubs, she was not walking or talking yet. My child learned to walk, talk, eat on her own, dress on her own in the nursery and this all happened because of
your efforts and care and above all because of your love. I can't begin to mention names because each one of you, from the cleaning team, the cook, the staff in each room, and the management, you have all been part of this journey. Thank you so much for your care. Thank you, preschool staff, thank you! I will forever keep you in my heart.

Little Cherubs Sydenham is the best nursery in the area. My son is in preschool, and he loves going. The manager is very supportive, and all children come in with a smile on their faces. Very happy place. Highly recommended.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I have been working with Early Years for 8 years now and am continually growing, which for me has been a privilege and inspiring experience. When I began my career in the childcare industry, my goal was and has always been to provide a safe, warm, nurturing, and fun environment for children to be themselves and grow.
I’ve learned so much over the years which has also allowed me to be where I am currently on my own learning journey from a Nursery Assistant to Nursery Manager. I have never lost track of the fundamentals that allow children to have fun and learn.

WHAT I HOPE TO ACHIEVE AT LITTLE CHERUBS
As the Manager at Little Cherubs, I am determined to ensure that an outstanding standard of care that Little Cherubs currently provides to the children is upheld by all members staff on a daily basis.
I aim to further enhance and allow both children and staff to flourish on their own individual learning journeys.
My main aim is to ensure a fun, nurturing environment for everyone that attends Little Cherubs.


WHY WE CHOSE CHRISTOPHER FOR THIS ROLE
Christopher is a forward thinker that presents a very child centred approach to learning. He radiates both calmness and positivity. We feel he will be a great leader for our staff team.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I have worked in Childcare for over 13 years. I have worked with all age groups and since starting my career, worked up from Nursery assistant, senior Nursery nurse to Third in charge role . After working in one setting for over 13 years, I decided it was time for a change & joined Little Cherubs back in November 2020.


I love messy play activities with children as well as singing and action songs.
The highlight of my career in Childcare was receiving my Level 2 & 3 qualifications and also training for the SENCO Role.
