Oak Tree Day Nursery is located in the Streatham Hill area of South West London. They offer care for children from three months old to five years. The children attending the nursery receive individual attention from the skilled and dedicated team which helps them to develop their learning skills at their own pace.

The nursery occupies a large detached house, which has been purposely renovated to provide an enabling and pleasant environment for children and families in the area. There is also a large outdoor area which features an impact-resistant play surface, adventure playground, mud kitchen and sensory garden which provides plenty of opportunity for exploration, play and learning.

The nursery follows the EYFS curriculum and offers extracurricular activities such as French, Music, Yoga and Sports. Music & Movement, Sports, Yoga and French are taught weekly by visiting teachers.

Children enjoy other learning programmes such as Living Eggs which allows the children to observe the hatching process and Zoolab visits with animals. There are also planned outings to museums, farms and theatres such as Polka theatre as well as other spontaneous local outings to the library, parks, shops etc.

In addition to the wide range of ICT and other equipment available to the children, pre-school children have access to touch screen interactive tables with several pre-installed programs to help with their learning and development.

The staff use iConnect for recording and assessing the children’s learning and development. iConnect uses an app called ParentZone to facilitate communication between the nursery staff and parents, keeping them informed throughout the day.

Our little boy went here for a couple of months before we moved away from the city. He loved the nursery and his key worker and we could see how he was developing just from the couple of days per week he was attending. Cannot recommend the nursery highly enough.

The nursery is very good. My daughter feels happy since she came to this nursery. All the staff are good. They deal with children with love.

I can't recommend Oak Tree Day Nursery highly enough! From the moment our daughter stepped through the door she felt completely at ease and settled in straight away. This is a testament to how attentive and amazing the staff are. They became like family and have really contributed into shaping our daughter's
early social skills. The nursery has great facilities and organises a number of fun and educational activities, both within the premises as well as outdoors. We were very sad when our daughter left this summer, due to us relocating.

I sent both my children to Oak Tree Day Nursery and I cannot recommend them enough!
They were like a second family to my daughter and to my son and now that my second one is leaving to start school, he is going to miss his teachers immensely. Staff and management are very helpful and they always try
to accommodate all kinds of requests. The nursery itself is big and spacious and clean. The baby room is the best and you can see the staff really want your baby to be happy and try their hardest to settle them.
They have a very good outside space and playground where the kids play every day and it's good as they get outside at least two times during the day. They have plenty of toys and they do some activities every day, like sport and French.
I know how it feels when it comes to choosing the nursery for your little one and I highly recommend booking a viewing here, you won't regret it!

We can not praise the entire team at Oak Tree Day Nursery highly enough. The care, attention and warmth the nursery staff have shown our child is simply outstanding. My son attended Oak Tree for one year in toddler unit. I am extremely pleased with the care my son receives at Oak Tree. He is always excited to go to nursery, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment created by the staff. I am consistently updated with what he is doing and eating throughout
the day, giving me peace of mind and a sense of involvement in his daily activities. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile to ensure the children are well cared for and engaged in a variety of fun and educational activities. I highly recommend Oak Tree to any parent looking for a trustworthy and warm environment for their child.

Our son attended Oak Tree Day Nursery for a year. He started in the baby room and moved on to the toddler room. We had a great experience with all the staff in both the rooms, the staff was very caring and helpful. My son settled in very well with his classrooms. My son really looked forward to going
to nursery and made some really good friends - his first real friends. The safe worked with us and we were very happy with our son going to OTDN. We would highly recommend OTDN to new babies and parents. Thank you to OTDN for looking after our son so well.

My daughter started at this Nursery when she was just 1 year and 3 months old and soon she will leave the nursery as she goes to reception. And always very happy, but she gets sad when it's not the day to go to the nursery which makes me happy too, this just shows how much love and affection she is
treated. Everyone was always very attentive to me and my daughter. It's a very respectful place, and I certainly recommend it, and if I have more children in the future and at the Oak Tree they will attend, a place that I feel safe, all the kind members. My daughter will definitely miss it very much.

My experience at the Oak Tree Nursery was super. The teachers were really helpful and patient, and I must applaud them for that. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent. Support was given when I was at my lowest.

The staff at Oak Tree Day Nursery were incredibly warm and caring towards my son, to the point that he very rarely looked back when coming in in the morning. You could tell that he was well-engaged and entertained throughout the day. I would recommend sending your child here.

My son went to Oak Tree Day Nursery last year. He had a great year, was very excited to go every morning and was always greeted with a smile by staff members. Everyone was so friendly and caring and it’s like he had become part of a family. He misses everyone greatly and still talks about his teacher
and the trip to Godstone Farm. Thank you so much to everyone at Oak Tree and I hope to send my daughter to you next year! Would definitely recommend it.

We love Oak Tree Day Nursery, I cannot recommend it enough. Our children have thrived there under the love and care of the exceptional staff. The staff are fantastic, they are like family to us and the children. The nursery has a wonderful outside space and the children play outside every day. They
offer French and music classes, sports, baby yoga and have visiting specialists, which is always exciting for the children. It is truly a wonderful nursery where the children make real connections with their carers and the other children.

My wife and I love Oak Tree Day Nursery. It has a lovely feel the moment you walk through the door. It's more like a family than a nursery. Everyone is so warm, and all the staff know every child by name. We also love all the extras that they do like looking at tarantulas and other exotic animals, French
lessons, baby yoga, and music lessons. I can highly recommend it!

What a fabulous nursery! The staff are so kind and caring. They have done a brilliant job helping to get our four-year-old son ready for school in all sorts of ways.
Our son loves the range of activities on offer - including sports, dancing, French and the visits from the animal man. Last month they
even organised a lovely excursion to the farm.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over three months now and I couldn't praise all of the team enough. I was worried about her settling in but her nursery aunties have been beyond amazing. We've been supported through every step, no question left unanswered and I was kept up to date with
her day. My daughter is a cuddly baby and her teachers ensured she's cuddled as often as she needs. It was reassuring to see that our needs as a family were respected. Within these few months, my daughter's development skyrocketed. I see her hitting her milestones and I am certain that it's a big impact from the amazing team at Oak Tree Day Nursery. The place itself is big, clean, and has various rooms that can provide different stimulation. Food is fresh and nutritious, my daughter wasn't too interested in solids before nursery and now she eats everything! It makes my heart grow when I see her smiling at her nursery aunties before we walk in. Thank you!

My two boys had been going to Oak Tree Day Nursery since they were 6 months old and 2 years old and they honestly loved every single day of the last 3 years. Every single member of staff from the management and admin team to the caretaker knows every child by name and genuinely cares for all the children.
Arriving every morning to such a welcoming and homely place has made every drop-off and day at work/college a lot easier and stress-free knowing they were happy and well looked after and seeing their development and interaction with her peers is wonderful.
I would highly recommend Oak Tree Day Nursery to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my two boys.
