The Park Nursery provides high quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years from Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.

The Nursery is conveniently located for local residents and commuters alike in Hither Green in the London Borough of Lewisham

The Park Nursery incorporates areas of learning into the early year’s curriculum, ensuring the children have a well prepared, inviting, and stimulating environment. Staff provide a range of activities to cater for children’s individual interests and development needs, working towards the Early Years’ Outcomes – Early Learning Goals, across all areas of the curriculum.

The Nursery’s approach goes above and beyond the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to foster deep level learning and optimise potential.

They offer a range of unique educational experiences which enable children to become successful, lifelong learners including, Wake up and shake up, Family and Emotions Boxes and a range of bespoke activities which promote your child’s well-being and confidence.

The Nursery Chef prepares all the children’s meals fresh on the premises each day, and the menus have been designed using the latest nutritional software to ensure they are nutritionally balanced, as well as delicious.

The dedicated staff team support children to fulfil their potential through a range of engaging experiences and learning opportunities, which are tailored to each child’s own developmental needs and interests, ensuring they are fully prepared for their next steps in education.

Our daughter went to The Park between the ages of one and four and it really is a wonderful nursery. The staff are so caring and lovely and we were completely relaxed about leaving our little one there. There's a lovely big garden and plenty of space inside. I would make sure you get in early on the
waiting list though as it can be hard to get a space, such is the popularity locally.

I've had two children attending The Park Nursery in the last 5 years. Both have had a very well-rounded experience, plenty of opportunity to explore the outdoor space (which is of a great size and set up for an urban area) and indoor learning/playing is varied and engaging. We are updated daily on the
children's meals, naps and activities/progress with pictures and explanations. My children formed great bonds with their respective key workers, which made them feel safe and happy going in every day, and really helped their confidence grow, and made the transition from nursery to reception seamless. Staff have been very supportive and non-judgemental in terms of potty training, and any developmental or behavioural issues.
There was some staff turnover in the toddler room in the last couple of years, but hopefully, with time, the new staff will settle and everyone will find their new rhythm.
Overall, I highly recommend this nursery!

I am so pleased we sent our two girls to this nursery. The staff are absolutely fantastic and work hard at providing a fun, happy, warm and caring environment. My girls absolutely thrived due to the great teacher support and programme of activities so were well prepared for school. E.g. Using toilets,
writing and reading their names, counting as well as great social skills and values. My girls also have a love of crafting and making things thanks to The Park. I particularly enjoyed all the national and world days they celebrated. The garden is a magic place where the kids can roam free, have their own adventures and learn about the outdoors.
They ate well, did fun activities, we were happy and made great friends. The building is old but has a great warm and fun feel to it, with kids' artwork displayed on the walls and well-laid-out rooms with lots of things for them to do.
My girls were so well cared for and I miss the place as much as they do!

We have had our two children attend The Park Nursery, our eldest for 3 years and youngest now for a year. It has been a wonderful, nurturing environment and we have seen how great an impact the nursery has had on their development. The staff are caring and thoughtful, they encourage each child to develop
at their own pace and prepare them well for school. The outdoor area is the best we have seen and continually upgraded, the kids use it most days. We feel lucky to have been able to send our children to Park.

Fantastic outdoor space - best in the area. Caring and attentive staff. We get notified of illness and accidents and it seems like there are adequate procedures in place for these. Food/menus seem excellent. Varied and healthy with an on-site chef. Baby seems to like it. The only downside is that Wi-Fi
in the baby room is not great so we don't get as many app updates as we would like.

I highly recommend The Park Nursery. I have two children who have both attended from 6 months old. It is a warm, caring and well-organised nursery. The staff are nurturing and my children have thrived here. They have well-structured activities, a good amount of outdoor play and value reading. I can't
fault this nursery, it is excellent.

Our child has been at the Park Nursery now for 3 months and we’re very happy. The team have been great at helping her settle quickly and easily.
We have access to an online app showing pictures of her activity and updates indicating her development against a framework. We receive daily sheets detailing
her naps, milk feeds, nappy changes, activities and not just the three meals she’s had that day but how much of each she’s eaten.
Each morning there is a different activity ready for the children to start playing with. It’s always carefully set up and displayed, never just spread out on the floor.
The team all demonstrate very clear awareness and understanding of the children, and knows what our daughter does and doesn’t like. The management team are always visible, available for any questions and very responsive.
There is clear investment into the nursery, with new toys/equipment and recent painting to update both the interior paintwork and exterior doors and windows.

We have always been hugely impressed by the care given at The Park.
Staff are wonderful - all full of love and positive energy. The children clearly adore them.

Our daughter has attended The Park Nursery since November 2023, and we have been thoroughly impressed so far. The staff are especially wonderful and attentive - my daughter has settled in so well, which is amazing. The facilities are excellent, and we can’t wait to see how she progresses up the year

My son has attended The Park Nursery since October 2018 and my daughter started in early 2021. I have been so impressed and grateful by the level of care, attention and nurture provided by the staff throughout both my children's time at the nursery. They are so happy there and obviously have formed
attachments to the staff, who make them feel completely at ease and help support their learning in a nurturing and fun environment. The nursery workers are always upbeat and helpful and it is obvious that they work well together and really enjoy working with the children; they listen to them, are empathic, help develop their skills and seem to have a great time doing so. As mentioned in other reviews, the staff seem very stable compared with reports I've heard from other mums, so this has also been beneficial to the children. The garden is also a wonderful space, with actual trees and dirt - sadly becoming a bit of a rarity in nurseries these days. I highly recommend The Park Nursery.

We have had 1-2 children at The Park Nursery since Jan 2018 and we couldn’t be happier with the level of service provided. It’s a loving, caring, and joyful place for children to spend their early years. There is a high consistency of staff, with everyone being so endlessly patient and lovely that the
care the children receive is consistently excellent. Our children’s personalities definitely have the spirit of The Park Nursery running through them - playfulness, empathy and learning. Our daughter left for school last September and often asks to go back and chat with the nursery workers. While other nurseries in the area have varied in quality and reputation over the last 5 years, The Park Nursery has held firm in doing great things every day. I’d strongly recommend sending your children here with no caveats - it’s great.

My two children attended Park Nursery until they went to school (my son starts school this year so he is nearly finished at nursery) and have loved it! The nursery is wonderful and I highly recommend it. The staff are fantastic, so loving and caring. The outdoor space is excellent, the best I know of
the nurseries in the area. There is a good variety of food and ever changing activities including bringing in external providers to deliver activities too. There is a newsletter every week and the management are really approachable - I've never had any issues with the nursery in six years. The nursery also runs the workplace nursery scheme which is a tax-saving benefit run through employers and the nursery and it's really easy to administer and saves you, the paying parents, a lot of money and the nursery gets extra funding too. I have no hesitation at all in recommending this nursery - it's wonderful.

Our daughter absolutely loves her time at the Park Nursery. She is always smiling on her way there and has settled very quickly with the other children and her key workers. As parents, we can go to work without any worries, and we know that our daughter is having a great time. Having a regular routine
with fixed meal times and nap times has really helped our daughter to get a much better rhythm and better sleep at night. The staff are lovely, very caring and professional. They take time to tell parents what the babies have been up to during the day, which is very much appreciated. We would absolutely recommend the Park Nursery to any parents!

Our little boy is soon to turn 3 and has been coming to The Park Nursery for almost 2 years now. He is delighted to go in every day and always comes out happy. He has formed some very close bonds both with other children and members of staff. We always get the impression that he is well looked after
and cared for. There is always something new and interesting going on every week, and he's always bringing home new creations. The facilities are good and the kids have loads of space to play outside, which is nice during summer. All the staff are great, work hard and clearly care a lot for the kids. Special mention must be made of the fact that they all worked so hard to avoid the nursery closing during the pandemic, it really made a huge difference to us! We will very happily keep our son here until he starts school and will certainly miss it when he's gone.

Our two children couldn’t be happier at The Park Nursery. Every room is fantastic. The staff are caring, kind, fun and supportive. I’m always really impressed by the emphasis they place on learning at such a young age. They make it fun but give them a really varied and age-appropriate range of activities
to aid development. The food is also brilliant. They encourage a varied diet which is healthy and tasty. Sharon and Kelly are lovely. Really approachable and accommodating.

Three of my children attend The Park Nursery. As we had such a positive experience with our firstborn, we decided to send our younger twins as well. The staff are always helpful, and we can see our kids bonding with them as well as the other children, learning valuable social and other skills over time.

Our daughter has attended Park Nursery since she was 10 months old, full-time, as soon as I went back to work. She's now in the preschool room about to head off to primary in September. I have always felt 100% comfortable leaving her in their capable and loving hands. Every member of staff we have had
contact with (which is pretty much all of them in the three-plus years we've been a part of the gang) has been friendly, cheerful, knows our daughter's name, and gives out as many cuddles as she wants (a lot)! I recommend Park to every parent that asks. I could not be happier with the support, care, and education they have provided her during her time there, and we will be genuinely sad to move on in September. If you're lucky enough to get a spot in Park, I cannot say strongly enough that you should take it!
