Co-op Childcare Woolwich is an all-on-one-level, airy nursery which is set within Brookhill Children's Centre, allowing access to special services for parents an children like health visitors, midwife appointments and childcare classes.

They use their 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with their children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are big on happy children and that's why they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world. They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Co-op Childcare Woolwich has 3 home rooms, split into the following age groups: Baby room for 3 months – 20/24 months, Toddler room for 2-3 year olds and Pre-school room for the 3-5 year olds. All three rooms lead out to the play areas as they do promote an open door policy where play is extended outdoors in all weathers.

My daughter had a fantastic experience, the staff are exceptional and work so hard. The kids there have a great time whether it be playing games, stories and/or phonics. With the app they record all details needed so you know how your child has been all day, highly recommend them.

My son has had a great time at this nursery with the lovely staff. It's the only nursery where he adjusted really well and I'm extremely happy with his development throughout his time at the nursery. I love that they have a wonderful outside place with so many things for the kids to do. Would highly

The thought of taking our son to a nursery made my Mrs very nervous due to past negative, personal experiences. I must say that the nursery is well worth every fee we have paid. When he started, it was a challenge for our son who was born during the lockdown as the only people he knew were his mom,
dad and very close family members. However, his progress within a very short time was remarkable - all due to the care, friendliness and selflessness of the nursery staff, especially those in his baby class. They look after him like he is their child. We are very pleased with his progress and development. He has been introduced to a variety of food. He loves playing with his mates in the garden and getting involved in all the activities arranged at the nursery. As parents, we are happy with the nursery app as we get regular and up-to-date communication from the staff. Also, we really like the one-to-one update that we receive at collection time. I highly recommend the nursery.

My experience with the nursery manager has been fantastic, she is very friendly, quick to resolve any issues you might have and she is absolutely welcoming and always ready to help you. My little one is graduating next month (July 2022) and onto primary in September 2022. The staff there are very friendly,
my little one loves it. Would highly recommend.

I have my second child at the nursery now. It went through some not so great times before and during Covid with regards to staffing and organisation, but since new managers have taken over, all seems much better again, like it was when my first child started.
My second is flourishing. He loves all
the staff and has moved up to the next room seamlessly.
Also, their menu is outstanding! I often wish I could eat there!

A great setting with amazing caring staff. There are lots for the kids to do both inside and out. The days are constructive and fun. The meals are healthy and varied each day. Highly recommend this setting.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for 2 months now and the staff have been so caring towards us. The transition from home to nursery has gone smoothly as they have followed through with my daughter’s routine. I get regular updates of what she is doing during the day, I have also requested photos
of her and when they can I get sent photos of activities she has taken part in during the day. I feel I can call the nursery and check on how my daughter is doing. My daughter enjoys the food here and the room and garden have lots of fun activities to keep her busy and engaged.

I'm really happy with Co-op Childcare Day Nursery and their service is worth all the money. The good things about the nursery:
App - it gives you real-time updates about your child, so it's lovely to get alerts while you're at work of your child playing or even seeing what they've eaten through the
day.
Staff - all the staff are super helpful and friendly from your child's key worker to the manager. Staff are very responsive to the app and face to face and take on any observation seriously.
Activities - your child has access to great learning facilities as well as a large outdoor space which is rare in London.
Observations are done weekly which helps with your child's development at home.
My daughter absolutely loves the nursery which makes it easier to leave her when I go to work.
For what you pay the service is a bargain.

My daughter attended this nursery for a short period just before we moved. It was very upsetting to leave! The staff are amazing, caring and attentive to all the children. All staff are very supportive towards the parents, as well as the building being very clean with a professional setting for the
children. Health and safety is very high, which leaves no concerns once the little ones are behind the doors! I would recommend anyone to join. I’m sad we were unable to stay. Yet to find a replacement as good as this nursery.

My son was born through the pandemic, so once I returned to work I needed to find a nursery that would support and encourage the lack of exposure to activities/playgroups etc. he has had and also interact with him again, something that has been very limited throughout his first year. I visited a few
nurseries, some very unhelpful or restrictive due to Covid even though lockdown had eased, soon as I visited this nursery I got a sense of care, attention and values towards the growth and development of the children and their parents. Loved the layout and resources available to children.

In June my daughter transitioned from one room to another as she became 2. The transition was handled well and myself and my daughter were reassured by knowing what to expect and even asked what we would like her to be learning in her new room. I found this really good and meeting her new key person
was a relief with not being able to come into the nursery.

It is almost impossible not to appreciate the work the staff and management of Co-op Childcare Woolwich. I have only to go through the pictures gallery of my daughter from when she was a toddler to when she started calling other kids "Toddlers" and now getting ready for reception next month. It's has
been an incredible journey for us the parent and the kids and there are no better people to share that journey with than you guys at Woolwich Co-op. The incredible work you do is evident in the brilliant growth observed in our kids. The live feeds on the web profile have also been brilliant as it allows real-time follow up on what the kids are up to and the professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff and management have been impeccable. I am very happy with the Co-op Childcare Woolwich Day Nursery. My eldest child attended here a few years back and my youngest has been here for a year now. I would highly recommend this nursery as it provides quality care for my baby without breaking the bank. My child is always happy to see the staff from his room and happy when we pick him up. This suggests to me that he is well looked after and enjoys his time there. I can see a lot of positive differences
in my child's personality from when he started nursery. He is more social and his communication skills have improved as well. He eats almost everything offered at the nursery which is not the case at home. His motor skills have improved with all the activities he gets exposed to at the nursery. The staff give us an update on his day when we pick him up and are always helpful. All in all, this is an excellent nursery.

My child appears to enjoy going to nursery and has a good relationship with all the staff so I am told. There is rather poor communication both in-person and through the parent sharing app coupled with a constant change of staff making it is difficult to know who is who. We have had two Teams meetings
during the last year though nothing for the parents to get to know each other. Prior to Covid, there were evening events put on for parents. Management does not appear to take responsibility, rather passing it down to the room staff along with the blame for mistakes or disappointment. Though I have been asked for feedback, it does not seem to be considered as there has been very little response. There are some really passionate staff members who genuinely care about the kids. The location, hours and cost are the main reasons we remain here.

We are happy with the care of our little one. Both my children now attend this nursery, my 4-year-old has been attending for 3 years and has been happy since joining. I saw a difference in her development soon after joining and it wasn’t long before she was speaking words. I am really happy with her development since, especially with numbers. My
1-year-old started in May and under the pressure of the pandemic, I was nervous for her but the staff at Co-op Childcare Woolwich (Brookhill) ensured that she settled comfortably and within a couple of weeks I can see that she is no longer as wary around new faces. Staff are always welcoming and have time to talk about how the day has gone, regardless of the fact that Covid now means they have to bring children out to the front gates and must be very busy. I have never had any complaints about the service or staff and would recommend to other parents.
