Our son has been going to this nursery for a year and a half so we have experience with both little buds and little climbers classes and we are very happy so far. His development from a little baby to an independent toddler has been amazing thanks to many things he learned here (e.g eating with cutlery).
The staff is very friendly, approachable and yet very professional when it comes to educating kids and giving feedback on their development. The food is freshly prepared every day and our son loves it. It is a great advantage that they have an outdoor garden with a lot of activities where kids can spend time even in the bad weather. I also like that they take kids outside of the premises, e.g going to a library, park, Christmas grotto etc and let them learn by an experience.


Will definitely recommend this nursery as it is a very good value for the money!

My husband and I love this nursery, so much so that both our son and daughter attend it. Since moving our son here from another nursery, we have seen the significant difference in care and high quality of staff. The menu is very healthy and nutritious. We have been particularly impressed by the new
manager and certain staff members in particular who have really nurtured our children. There are plenty of wonderful activities including sport and Spanish lessons and the garden area is lovingly maintained and very spacious for an inner city nursery. Thank you so much Little Garden Nursery.

My son enjoys going to the nursery! He loves the carers and really is fulfilled in this environment.
I would like to give a special thanks to the nursery manager. She will really be missed. She is the reason why my son joined the nursery. She has been very welcoming, always smiling, always a kind word
to say and always available to discuss my son’s development. I wish her a quick recovery and hope the new manager will meet her professionalism and continued commitment.

My son was very happy at Little Garden. The staff in the baby room were very caring and bonded with them very quickly.
He always enjoyed the activities and going out in the garden.

We are so, so pleased with this nursery and can't recommend it highly enough! Fantastic staff (all of them), excellent facilities (outdoor play area is perfect and the kids are there all the time), brilliant learning activities (changing regularly), great food (I'd 100% eat myself!) and our daughter
doesn't want to leave when we come to pick her up! Very, very happy with everything. Thanks again to all the staff for making a big part of our lives so amazing!!

The experience my son and I have had with this nursery has been of a positive nature and I hope that it continues.


The staff and the manager always make time to chat to me when I pick up and drop off my son - updating me on anything that has happened, be it how much food my son has eaten to what

new skill he has developed. In addition, it's great to see how hands on the manager is with all the kids during the day and during nap time!


My son has developed verbally in leaps and bounds and as I said above, I hope it continues!

This used to be a fantastic nursery, it really really did. Since April the staff turn around is almost monthly and it has had a considerable impact on the children’s stability. Children are resilient but nothing can prepare them for having a new key worker every 2/3 weeks. I’m really happy that my son
has just completed his last day and we’re lucky enough to have found an alternative.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We value all feedback as it helps us reflect on the service we provide - we are always reviewing how we can enhance the child and parent experience. It is a shame however that you chose not to speak with us directly before making these comments, as they do not accurately reflect the situation and are quite misleading. Your son has enjoyed several happy years at the nursery before leaving to begin school and we were very sad to say goodbye to such a confident and delightful boy. Your comments surprise me since at no point have you raised the matter of your son's key person with us. It is the case that we have taken on some new practitioners, the nursery is very popular and as more and more parents choose Little Garden we naturally have to recruit new people - this, on some occasions, means that colleagues take on new children. If this does happen, it is done gradually to ensure each child is comfortable with the changes - your son had a very strong relationship with his new key person, so your comments are a little bewildering. I am sorry that we were not able to resolve this confusion before you left the nursery, but remain grateful for your feedback and I wish your son all the very best for his next steps in education.

We have only been here a few months but are noticing some changes and improvements in this time. It is great to see the manager being active across all the roles and tasks. If I was to make a suggestion it would be that communication between morning and afternoon staff could be improved on hand over.
I would like to see an investment on CCTV especially given the cost of the childcare here. In all, we are happy here.

I published a review in this site a couple of years ago which was very positive but now feel compelled to provide parents a view of new reality of the nursery.
The nursery has undergone significant changes. None of the staff including the manager have been there more than 6 months. It is not the same
homely and nurturing environment it used to be. New staff, constant changes is unsettling for the kids. Changes started earlier on this year, so I thought I would give it time but it is still the same. Really sad to see how much the quality of care has deteriorated.

Since joining in October 2017, my son has grown to love spending time at nursery. The team are welcoming and easy to speak to - taking away much of the apprehension for both parent and child. He has developed a brilliant bond with his dedicated keyworker and is thriving in the nursery's warm and inclusive
environment. Really happy with the whole experience so far and would recommend this nursery.

My daughter started going to this nursery at 7 months. At the beginning, I was very scared to send her to nursery at such a young age however the staff were so helpful and encouraging and the way they looked after my daughter so well and showed her love and attention made me very comfortable to leave
her at the nursery whilst studying. The nursery has surpassed my expectations by far! My daughter is always so happy to go to nursery and play with the children and her amazing and caring key worker. I highly recommend this nursery 10/10 !

I have been thrilled with my experience here. They met and exceeded my expectations. Some of the things I am particularly happy with are the staff, curriculum, and nutrition. The staff are welcoming and loving. I feel like they truly care for my little one. Always excited to see her and report to me
how she was throughout the day.


I appreciate that even though they are working with toddlers they have a curriculum work to teach not only ABC's but manners as well. My daughter pretty much only eats veggies when she is here--since she won't eat them for me. There is a good variety of food and presented family style. Most important my daughter has been very happy here.

This nursery is fantastic! The facilities have everything they need at this age with plenty of space inside and outside.
The French class is a bonus too!


The staff and the manager are lovely and hyper friendly; so easy to talk to. I always appreciated the feedback about my daughter at the end of

the day. They have been human and very flexible with us as parents, thank you so much!


My daughter enjoyed going to this nursery a lot. I loved her progress there.


I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a safe place and loving place for their children.

I have been bringing my child to nursery for 2 weeks. He is settling so well with the team. I was anxious, most mothers are but my experience has been so reassuring. The key worker is so knowledgeable and caring. She works well with the rest of the nursery team to provide excellent structure, attention
and care. I think the manager is very professional and perfect for this business. My child has had some issues with sleep and food but these ladies have got her through it with love, structure and support.

Both our children LOVE this nursery and even after having left it for school, our daughter still loves going there and telling the staff all about school! We would and we have recommended it many times!
Ok, if I had to pick 3 things, I would say we like it so much because:


1) it provides a very

loving care, the children are loved up and feel comfortable and secure and it often feels like I am dropping them off in their second home - especially when you can smell the cauliflower being cooked!


2) the children are being taught to be nice and kind with each other and I have witnessed many times the benefits of this.


3) incredibly flexible, keen to accommodate neurotic (or not!) parents' needs.


Oh but I forgot the amazing French lessons and last but not least Playball lessons on a Tuesday which is an amazing activity to have for the development of all children but especially energetic little boys like ours...

We are very happy with this nursery. Our son likes it too, he never says that I don't want to go etc. We like the nursery's layout that everything, also the garden, is on same level, always nice and clean. The teachers are friendly and really care about children. As our child is nearly 3 years old he
is in the same room with older children which is very good for his development.

I am very happy with the care my grandson is receiving. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining the nursery, the facilities are clean, inviting and he enjoys the garden, he likes the open space and the freedom of being outside with the toys especially the slide.

I have two sons that attend this nursery. Let's just say it is the highlight of their week to be surrounded with so much love from their teachers and their friends. They both went from being fussy eaters to overeaters in a matter of weeks. They love all their learning activities and mini science projects.
They especially love their newly refurbished garden with a tree house and a slide. They really love the French lessons too. The most important thing for me is that they are safe, loved looked after and developing well academically.

My 3.5-year-old started the nursery in September 2015. Since starting, she has absolutely flourished in her development. She is constantly coming home telling us about the fantastic new things she has learnt.
It is clear that she loves her nursery and the staff. In fact, she has asked to take her
teachers along with her when she starts reception in September!
The staff at Hammersmith are amazing and very supportive. The children attending always seem happy and this is thanks to the great learning environment the staff have created, approachable teachers and the fantastic management team. We will be sad to leave Hammersmith when our daughter starts school, but will definitely have the nursery on stand by for our second child.

If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 70 number of registered child places is 14. 7 Positive Reviews ÷ 14 = 0.5

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
