Bright Horizons Southfields Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Situated in a waterside location and on the ground floor of a modern building, Southfields is a bright, thoughtfully designed environment for learning in Wandsworth, London. Ideal for parents needing to commute, the handy location is within walking distance of both Earlsfield overground and Southfields underground (District Line).

Within the age-focused rooms, the team provides the best start to schooling life through the enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by their own Early Years specialists. An holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

Additionally, the nursery's safe, enclosed garden has safety surfaces and a digging and planting area where children can grow their own plants and take part in a variety of different activities; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, the team can keep you updated via the Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with the nursery.

All-inclusive fees include all meals, snacks, branded nappies, wipes and creams. All food is nutritionally balanced and freshly cooked by the on-site chef and all the menus have been accredited by Action for Children.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year now, starting in the toddler room and now in preschool. He absolutely loves it! They have a great, responsive management team, kind, caring and supportive staff who are genuinely fond of the children and my son comes home at the end of the day tired and
happy and full of chatter. Highly recommend.

Our daughter has been at Bright Horizons Southfields for almost 6 months now. She loves coming to nursery and often doesn’t want to come home. The staff are fantastic - incredibly caring and attentive, and keen to keep us well-informed. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nursery

Our child has been here for nearly 2 years and been very happy. She has learnt and developed lots from her experience at nursery. We have been very happy with the relationships she has developed with staff and other children and with the variety of activities the children do. The staff are generally

My daughter really enjoys her time at nursery. She has been coming since she was 10 months (now almost 3 years) for 3 days a week and is always happy when we are on our way to drop off. The staff have really helped her to develop, she often surprises us with new things she has learnt from practical
things like putting on her coat to a surprising grasp of counting.

Bright Horizons Southfields has been great for us and our daughter. The staff are super friendly and really helpful and they have built a great bond with our daughter. Her social development has been great and she deals with the hustle and bustle of living in a busy city really well. No doubt the nursery
has had a big hand in this.

Bright Horizons Southfields is a small personable setting. The staff are kind and helpful. My daughter is in the baby room and it has been a joy watching her personality develop. The staff are always happy. They take good care of my daughter. She is always happy to come to nursery.

My daughter is in the baby room, she has settled really nicely. She loves coming to nursery and often doesn't want to leave. The staff are amazing and support her independence, she has really come out of her shell.
The team are brilliant, I could not ask for more, she has a great bond with her key
worker.

I am so happy with the way the staff helped my toddler settle. He had not been in a nursery environment before but had only been to playgroup for a hour or two. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. My toddler has now been there a month and has settled in well, when he is grumpy during drop-offs,
the girls always know how to cheer him up. Always learning new skills with the variety of activities and lessons they have. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has been at the nursery for 4 months now, he took a long time to settle in as he was very clingy, but the staff were great with him and very patient. He loves his days at nursery now and is very happy there. His keyworkers are brilliant and he enjoys the activities, especially Hartbeeps.

I have two very happy kids there! There are plenty of activities to keep them busy (Spanish, tennis, hartbeeps etc). Lots of painting, drawing and learning depending on their age. The staff are brilliant, they love the kids and really care!

Our daughter has settled very well at Teddies. The staff have been wonderfully supportive and our daughter is clearly very fond of them all. They do lots of fun activities with them, serve great food and the staff show the babies lots of affection. They also keep us parents well informed.

The baby room staff have been fantastic to our daughter, she loves coming into nursery and enjoys all of the activities the ladies do for the babies. Thank you, everyone, for taking such great care of our little girl, we especially love all the extra curriculum activities; Hartbeeps and Spanish! Management
team are also lovely and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended!

I have been entirely satisfied with my daughter's care at Teddies Southfields. From her start in the baby room to her current place in the toddler's room, the staff have been so caring, empathetic to the children's needs, and seem to do so much more than 'just' a job there - they really seem to care.
My daughter is so happy going there. The staff, are always smiling and seem to enjoy the children. They make the most of the resources, and I love the Hartbeeps activities - as does my daughter. The managing team is great - very organised, professional, and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Teddies!

I have been working with Bright Horizons for 10 years and hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and education and a Level 5 degree in leadership and management. I started as a nursery assistant making all my way to nursery manager. I have experience working with all age groups and I enjoy providing inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery and maintaining a stimulating and enjoyable environment to ensure every child has the best possible start in their educational life and to ensure their safety.

I have been working in childcare for over 10 years, I gained valuable experience working in a variety of childcare settings from children's centres, primary schools, after-school clubs and nurseries. I hold a level 3 in childcare and education.


I joined Bright Horizons in 2015 and I made my way from Bank Staff to Deputy manager. I started at Wandsworth Day Nursery, Southfields, Chiswick Park coming back now to Southfields as Deputy.


I have a real passion for care and education as I am a mother of three children.


My goal is to make the nursery experience special for every child and family, supporting children in all areas of learning and helping them to grow and get ready for school.
