Tiggers Nursery, established in 1996, is a warm and welcoming environment.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), activities at the nursery are tailored to the children's needs and interests. The children learn through a combination of teacher-initiated and child-led activities.

Activities and plans help give children the best opportunity to grow and develop to their needs. Each child is assigned a key worker with daily, weekly and termly reports through the dedicated app to ensure collaboration with parents

Staff are passionate and long term team members all having been part of the setting for 8+ years, their daily care and devotion are at the heart of Tiggers.

The ethos has always remained the same, children need to have fun, whilst learning to be sociable, confident and well rounded.

I have been attending Tiggers Nursery for 6 years, first as a Nanny and for the past 2 years as a mum and I can only say good things about them.
Also in the 6 years I have known them the teachers have always been the same, they have not changed their staff and that makes the children feel confident
and safe around “their teachers”, they are there from day one to support and help them develop new skills and learn many new things.
My daughter particularly enjoy it so much that every Monday she is so excited to be back!
She has made the best memories of her early years of education thanks to Tiggers Nursery and its amazing teachers.
We will miss you a lot!

My child always leaves Tiggers happy, they do lovely things with the children and the day is filled with fun.
I love how all the children interact within the 2 years (3 and 4) as they all learn from each other.
My daughter has learnt so much and has especially loved hatching and helping rear a few
ducklings at the nursery too, which is such a lovely thing to do.
All the teachers are wonderful and keep us informed every day and always send us photos.
The teachers have been there for such a long time and that was really important to me when picking a nursery.
Overall I’m very happy with Tiggers!

My son enrolled at Tiggers in September 2023, and has currently been there for 10 months. From the very first visit, my son and I were treated as though we were part of their family at Tiggers. We were informed that all staff had been there 15+ years, which was a major selling point as that is so rare
to find! I was worried about leaving my son, as he had never been away from me before - however, he had settled in so well after only a week! I believe this is due to the love, care and attention that the Tiggers staff showed him. It was his home away from home. To this day, he still loves going to nursery each day, and is always telling me about the fun activities the teachers do with him. They really put in so much effort every day to keep it exciting for the children. I recommend Tiggers to all of my friends. There is a reason why everyone speaks so highly of this nursery in Wandsworth; it is all due to the incredible teachers!

My son joined here having been at a daycare provider as a baby. The difference in provision is remarkable. His learning and development is excellent and we receive regular reports and updates from his keyworker. I have absolutely no hesitation in leaving him in the capable hands of the absolutely wonderful,
relatable staff members and he bounds in and out at drop off and pick up. True testament to him enjoying his preschool days. Tiggers provides the perfect blend of teacher-led learning and free play and we are very much looking forward to my daughter following in her big brother’s footsteps!

Current Review Score: 8.8 (8.810)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.810) out of 10 for Tiggers Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.935 for Tiggers Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (43 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 46 Ratings = 4.935

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.875 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Tiggers Nursery is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 40 number of registered child places is 8. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 8 = 0.5

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
