My daughter started preschool in 2023 and I have witnessed remarkable progress in her English language skills since then. The improvement in her vocabulary, confidence and communication has been truly impressive. She has also made wonderful friends at the preschool which has helped her develop socially
and emotionally. The nurturing and supportive environment has made her feel happy and comfortable and it's evident that she genuinely enjoys her time there. I am very pleased with her experience so far and grateful for the dedicated staff who contribute to her growth and well-being.

My daughter attended Beacon Road Nursery in the fall of 2023 and settled in very quickly. She always looked forward to going and the staff warmly welcomed her to school each day. The nursery has many different activity play areas that keep her entertained. She also enjoyed going to the large outdoor
play area at their other nursery across the road to ride the trikes, run, and play with the building blocks.
The staff were very attentive and proactive in identifying her strengths, continuously encouraged her to express herself via painting, crafting, and sand, and she always had access to various toys during playtime. I noticed a big development in her social skills within a few weeks of her starting. The nursery staff were always available to let me know what she did and discuss her progress at the end of each day.
I highly recommend this nursery and am very pleased with the developmental progress my daughter made while there. A big thank you to the staff for all of their hard work!

Lovely nursery with amazing and imaginative staff. Newly refurbished building with lots of new toys. My daughter really thrived there. The management is committed to the kids' wellbeing and happiness and works really hard to provide the best service possible. The garden inside is small but kids go to
the large garden in the nursery across the road every day, learning skills as they go e.g. crossing roads.

Our son has been at the Bright Horizons Beacon Road Preschool and linked Maythorne Cottages site since he was 1 (he's now 4.5 years). We have been so pleased and impressed with the care and attention he's received there and feel really lucky to have found such a lovely nursery. The carers are really
consistent and there is less staff turnover than we've seen at other nurseries, which is really stabilising for the children. The inside space is really well set up with lots of different activities for the children and a setting that appropriately resembles what they will see at school.

Beautiful indoor space. Nice facilities. Secure. Caring carers who are happy to give advice and support. Fun activities. Great location. Great opening times.
Being a dedicated pre-school it is a good place to have children in when over the age of circa 3, as they are dedicated to age appropriate activities.
The garden is small, but has nice things in it and is well shaded. They also do trips out and go to the garden across the road in the other nursery.

Our son has been attending for over a year and loves going into nursery. He even talks about it on the days that he doesn't attend. The staff are very caring and the food options are great and nutritious.

Our son started at nursery during lockdown. We have been extremely happy with the care and support he receives on a daily basis. The staff are always helpful and happy to take the extra time to share more about my son's day and give more insight into his activities as we are not allowed to enter for
safety reasons. My son always comes home happy and tired!

We're so pleased we chose to send our daughter here. She absolutely loves it and we've seen her develop so much since she started six months ago. The staff have handled the current situation really well and even though we can't go in or spend lots of time at the entrance, they always make sure to tell
us what she did that day and how she's been. I was worried about her starting at nursery but seeing her run to the staff in the morning and how happy she is has put me at ease.

My son started at Bright Horizons Beacon Road Day Nursery when he was ten months old and the staff have become like a second family to him. Like most 2020 babies my son has had limited interactions with family and friends, so we are delighted at how excited he is about going to nursery. It's really
difficult not being able to go in to the nursery but you can tell how much he loves it by the smiles he gives at the drop off and how confidently he walks in to the nursery in the morning, more often than not now without even looking back! It is great seeing what he has got up to in the newsletters, particularly now with the Bright Beginnings Curriculum and we love when he comes home with his painting and crafts. All the staff are friendly and you can tell how great they are by the way all the children react when they see them at the door, irrelevant to whether they are the link worker or not. My son has thrived since joining and we can both confidently focus on work, knowing he is in a happy and safe environment.

Our son started nursery in January after being at home throughout the other lockdowns. Straight away we felt really happy with the nursery, even though we were unable to see it because of restrictions! All the staff are so lovely whenever they come to the door, they are always so happy. Our son settled
in really quickly and he's always so excited to get there in the morning. It's lovely knowing that he's happy and they are always doing so many fun activities! A massive thank you to all the staff here.

As a teacher, I understand first hand how draining this past year has been, especially during this current lockdown where primary and secondary schools are shut, yet nurseries remain open. It must be really difficult but every single staff member I encounter had been absolutely lovely. They always have
a smile on their faces, it's a pleasure to see them every day. I can see all of the staff here know him really well and that is really important to me. I'm so grateful to be able to drop him off knowing he is in safe hands and will have a fun day.

The staff at Zoom are very caring. My daughter loves going into nursery and I've seen her develop in leaps and bounds since attending.
Baby Stars 2 always hold lovely events for parents and always provide great feedback on my daughter's day.

My daughter was welcomed to this nursery with open arms. The nursery has a great play area and their days are full of fun games. I love the use of the EY logs app, this provides me with pictures of my little one and a daily log of what she ate, did, sleep time and nappy info. My daughter has thrived
and I am left with little to worry about when I am at work. Highly recommended.

Hello, my name is Tanya and I have worked with Bright Horizons for 14 years. I have worked across all age groups and in all aspects of nursery life, learning and growing in my development, knowledge and achieving my qualifications.


My vision is to continuously provide quality childcare and an excellent service for all children and their families and I will work hard to ensure that we are providing the very highest standards of childcare possible. I am honoured to have joined the Beacon Road team and to be part of all of the wonderful families here.


I believe that forming strong relationships with all families is key to delivering quality childcare. I live in the local area so feel that it is important to involve families and the wider community with fundraising for our Bright Horizons Bright Space Foundation.


I have already successfully helped open 3 spaces and I am constantly on the lookout for more fantastic spaces to open to help children that require a place of refuge.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

I was born in Ireland and I grew up in a small town called Hospital on the country of Limerick. All of my family live there including my 4 brothers and my parents. I moved to London in March 2015 to pursue my journey in childcare.


I joined Zoom in March 2015 as Senior Practitioner and worked in Zoom Brockley for the past two and a half years and joined Beacon Road in November 2017. I have worked in childcare for 11 years now and I have a Degree in Early Childhood and Education. I love working with all ages but babies are my area of expertise.
