Situated near the town centre, Hounslow Central Station and other local transport links to make pick-up and drop-off as convenient as possible. Bright Horizons Hounslow Day Nursery and Preschool is designed to support your child’s development, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

The dedicated nursery team nurture every child as they transition through each of the nurseries four large rooms, each with age specific resources to encourage their love of fun, curiosity and learning.

The nursery also follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and practices a Growing Enhancement programme unique to Bright Horizons, giving your child the inspiration and confidence to navigate subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing.

The children continue to grow and play in the adventure garden and receive healthy snacks and meals prepared by the nurseries in-house chef using fresh ingredients, sourced by trusted suppliers.

With all-inclusive fees, which means less to pack on a busy morning, all the healthy meals and snacks are prepared by the onsite chef with nutrition in mind.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in May 2019.

I have been extremely impressed with the pre school at Asquith Hounslow Day Nursery. My daughter has left for school able to read, write and count beyond her years. The structure of the learning has prepared her well for primary school. She has been bought to be a well behaved, polite little girl.
Any behavioural problems experienced have been dealt with very well in conjunction with the parent, I am very happy.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I started my childcare career in 2007, working as an unqualified practitioner, following ten years as a primary school teacher in Jamaica. My interest and enthusiasm in supporting children’s care, learning and development saw me quickly embarking on my childcare qualification.


Early in 2008, I completed my level 2 qualification, I then went on to further my knowledge and completed my NVQ level 3 qualification in early 2009. Because of my passion and desire for further knowledge and to be better equipped to support young children’s learning and development, I went on to complete my Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Education and my BA (Hons) in Early Years Education and Leadership in Practice in 2015.


During my time working in the early years sector, I have assumed different positions such as Room Leader, Unit coordinator and Deputy Nursery Manager. I believe working in the Early Years sector over the years and assuming a variety of roles has equipped me with the necessary experience, knowledge and skills required to lead and successfully manage a team of practitioners.


I thoroughly enjoyed my job role as a practitioner and now as a Nursery Manager. I intend to ensure every child in my care is provided with the opportunity to have the best possible start in life and is given the support that will enable them to fulfil their potential.

My Early childhood career started in 2010 when I worked as an unqualified agency staff across different nurseries.


Over the years my passion grew for this sector and I wanted to be able to offer more to the children in my care. I, therefore, went on to complete my qualification as a Level 3 Early Years practitioner. This qualification gave me the knowledge I needed to support children between 0 and 5 years of age and their learning and development. Early years are of particular interest and importance to me as I understand how crucial children’s development is during these formative years.


I have worked at Hounslow Day Nursery and Preschool for the past 8 years. During this time I have been a Nursery practitioner and a Team Leader for Toddlers and Preschool teams. I have also worked in the Babies Room and often support the Nursery Room Team.


Having gained vast knowledge in childcare and learning and development as well as leadership, I wanted to expand on this to understand more about the operations side of the nursery as a whole. I, therefore, applied for and was successful in the role of Third in Charge and have most recently been promoted to the Nursery Deputy Manager.


I completely enjoyed my role as a practitioner, Team Leader, Third in Charge and now as a Deputy Nursery Manager. It is my intention to ensure every child in my care is provided with the opportunity to have the best possible start in life to enable their future success.
