Chingford House Nursery is based in a beautiful terraced house in a popular residential area, close to schools in Chingford.

The owner and manager have over 50 years combined early years’ experience and they lead an extraordinary team of compassionate and dedicated early years practitioners.

The nursery strongly believes that children need warm and affectionate relationships to support their emotional well-being and the nursery's key person approach is key to achieving this.

CHN has discovered the ideal balance between children learning through play and providing a more structured learning environment as the nursery prepares children for school. The room leaders support children with their reading, writing and phonics.

CHN complements its educational programme with extra-curricular activities such as Forest school.

CHN takes children from 6 months to 5 years.

We loved the nursery, they are all such lovely generous people. We has no doubt after our son went we would send our daughter. They really do go the extra mile with updates all day from photos, great trips out and teaching them all the skills to start school. We have made good friends with other parents
and the children. Love the small class sizes so each child gets the one on one attention they need.

Thanks to the staff and management who helped with the care of my granddaughter. Very loving caring staff who cater to the needs of the children. My granddaughter has progressed very well and her confidence has grown immensely.
She has enjoyed the activities away from the nursery especially visits
to the park and museums. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

I'm so glad I chose Chingford House Nursery! My son started just over a year ago and has settled in incredibly well. As a parent, it's reassuring to know your child is well cared for and happy - my son is both. We receive clear feedback and daily photos, so we can see what he's been up to.

I've been really impressed by how much my daughter has learnt since starting nursery at Chingford House. The staff are friendly and know her so well, so I know she's able to be herself during the day. She runs into nursery every day without a look back, so I know she is excited about all the fun she
has each day. I've been really impressed by the communication from the nursery either through the handovers at the end of the day or in updates from the manager.

As always, starting nursery is hard, but Chingford House looked after my daughter and ensured she felt safe and comfortable during this time. She's now been there for 6 months and is happy to go in with smiles and waves to her key worker. She knows the staff, even in the different rooms which also makes
her feel safe and happy.
The nursery really is like a little family and I feel happy dropping her off knowing she will have a lovely day playing, learning and enjoying nice food. I love seeing her photos from the day and she comes home with artwork and things she's made for us.
The communication is also excellent with emails and messaging, any queries are replied to promptly.
We look forward to our daughter's next few years at Chingford House, thank you!

We are so happy that we chose Chingford House. Our child has been part of a second family for three years now. The nursery communicates so well and we get a sense that our little girl is safe and looked after as well as if she was at home. I'm always surprised when she comes home reciting songs or numbers
or telling me facts about space. They do some amazing learning! I was also surprised to see a nursery organising wonderful trips to places like the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum.

Our two children have been very happy at Chingford House and we have felt very supported by the wonderful staff and management. We love the family environment and the fact that all the staff know the children and that there aren't agency staff. It gives a real consistency of care which makes the children
feel secure. The teachers are brilliant at organising interesting themes for the children and taking the time to tailor them to the interests of the group. In the final term before school, our son has enjoyed all the special trips out to museums. The nursery has been very good at supporting our son who has had a speech delay. We have had regular meetings with the nursery manager and his teachers to monitor his progress and they have helped implement the recommendations from his speech therapists and have suggested other techniques and games to encourage him. It's thanks to their effort and support that he has made such good progress. We can't recommend them enough!

Chingford House Nursery is absolutely fantastic. They take great care of the children and show true investment in their progress and happiness. They work closely with parents to ensure that the next steps in their development are clear and being worked on at home and in the nursery. Our toddler always
comes home having clearly had a great day. They do great activities with the children and keep them engaged and interested throughout the day. Our child has SEN and they have been super with regards to ensuring they're doing everything they can for him and carrying out the physio and other areas of focus we've been advised to. Couldn't recommend enough.

Both my children attend Chingford House Nursery. Communication and availability of management are great, nothing feels too trivial. Staff take the time to feedback on your child’s day and listen to any concerns. The calendar of events throughout the year is fab and it’s lovely to be involved in Sports
Day and the Christmas concert. Thank you.

My daughter currently attends CHN, and I have an older child who transitioned to school last year. My experience of the nursery with both of my children has been excellent. All of the staff are kind, considerate, and passionate about childcare. They are led by very professional and experienced management.
My children have thrived in the caring, fun, and safe environment created by the team. Highly recommended!

Enrolling our son here was the right choice for his early education and care. Communication at the nursery is exceptional. Fantastic nursery. The staff were very supportive of my child's needs. The communications were excellent and they would accommodate any additional requests. Helped my daughter with her potty training and getting her ready to start primary school. Different activities every day to help her grow and develop.
She was so happy here, a home away from home.

Friendly staff, shown love and care to my child. My child is in Sunflowers and loved it every day when we send her to nursery. It's a pity we are leaving this nursery due to work reasons, we will miss all the wonderful staff here.

My son has been here for just over 6 months and settled in very quickly. He has made some lovely friendships with other children and staff and seems so well looked after. He reaches for whichever staff member meets him at the door with a smile and outstretched arms and looks forward to his nursery days
when we talk about them. When I pick him up I get a full lowdown of his day, what he ate and how he slept and the nursery updates the app with pictures regularly. His development has been amazing and I am really happy they have a good focus on play and creativity as well as learning important skills. My partner and I feel very at ease leaving him in their care. We get monthly newsletters and regular communications from management. The team is small but capable and they really care for the children's well-being. It must be an exhausting job but each day at pick up everyone is smiling - nursery workers are real life angels!

My son has attended Chingford House Nursery for over a year. The class sizes are small so he has a great connection with the staff and other kids and it feels like his learning is progressing really well. It means he has moved rooms a couple of times to keep in his age group, but each time there has
been a transition period, and when I asked if he could move early to stay with friends, they did as soon as they were able to. The staff in every room are wonderful and my son is always excited to see his key worker and to tell me what he's done at nursery that day which seems to be quite varied. They also seem to spend lots of time in their garden/outdoor play area. Chingford House Nursery staff feel so much warmer and more caring than other nurseries we went to see when deciding. My son is very happy here!

Couldn't be happier. Great, attentive staff that work with your needs for my daughter. She's been there since she was 9 months and is now 1 year. She actively smiles and points at the door when I drop her off. We, as a family, are really happy with her progress. She eats well and has now started walking.
The staff are really encouraging when she shows an interest in things like the walking. They were also really good in working with us when achieving her nap at a good time of day for her.
