We couldn't be happier with our experience at Chestnut Tree Days Nursery!
The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely passionate about nurturing the children. Our little one has flourished in this environment, becoming more confident and sociable every day.
The activities are thoughtfully
planned, encouraging creativity, learning and fun. Communication is great, staff keep us updated on progress and are always approachable for any questions.
It's clear that the children are at the heart of everything they do. We would highly recommend Chestnut Tree Day Nursery to any parent looking for a safe and supportive place for their child to grow and thrive.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since March 2024, and she loves it. After the third day, she was happy to stay there. She loves her teachers and the staff. She also made friends, which proves the positive environment there.

My daughter has been attending Chestnut Tree since last year (March); she started in the tot's room, and she has received the best care. The staff are kind, caring and supportive - they do lovely activities to stimulate effective learning. My daughter has learnt so many new skills; they even supported
her with potty training too, so can’t fault the care in any way. Me and my husband are glad we chose Chestnut for our little girl. I’ve also recommended this nursery to my brother, so five stars from us.

My daughter started nursery in May 2022 and she absolutely loves it! We get so many updates throughout the day so I always know what she’s been doing. When we mention “nursery” at home my daughter insists on looking through the photos of herself on the app and laughs away to herself so I know she is
very happy. The staff are lovely and very approachable, always doing different activities with the children. Very glad we went with chestnut tree!

Our daughter started with Chestnut Tree Day Nursery three months ago and she loves it! As our first child, we didn't know what to expect from a nursery but the staff have been nothing but welcoming to us and to our baby especially. The amount of activities they do with her is brilliant - she is always
bringing home pictures and paintings and knows all of the actions to the nursery rhymes. Would definitely recommend them.

My daughter started attending Chestnut Tree Day Nursery in April 2023 and I couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff are all friendly, approachable and you can see that the children really do love them too. I am kept informed during the day with photos, when she is sleeping and get a daily note
each day outlining the activities that she has been doing.
My little one actually squeals when she sees where we are going in the morning, and you can't ask for more reassurance than that!

The nursery is an absolute pleasure to take my daughter to. The staff are just excellent and give a lovely, detailed review of how my daughter's day has gone. I’m informed about the progress of my daughter and I’m very happy in general. The manager and staff always smile and say good morning and goodbye
when we leave.
Overall, I love leaving my daughter in the fabulous care of the nursery for the day and she always comes home smiling and happy and well-fed.

My son started going to Chestnut Tree just after his first birthday. I was very nervous at first as English is not our first language and he did not walk at the time, but the staff has been absolutely amazing. He absolutely loves the nursery and his general motor skills, speech, social skills and understanding
of English have developed and/or improved significantly. He has friends to play with, loves the activities organised in the Tinies room and comes back home very happy on a daily basis.
If you are nervous to get your little one started at a nursery, do yourself and themselves a favour and sign them up in the Chestnut Tree nursery, because the staff are absolutely amazing. I can see teachers holding and soothing kids on a daily basis so you can be sure that if your little one is upset, they will be physically held by a teacher and soothed.

We absolutely love this nursery! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they're always smiling! Both my sons are attending here and are so happy from the minute they get in. They enjoy the activities and food. My 2 year old loves the snacks and lunches they provide. Thank you so so much for the kindness
and for always going the extra mile. The manager has always been so understanding when I've had personal issues and supported us in any way possible. My daughter has been attending this nursery since August 2022 and is in the baby room. From the moment I came to view it, I felt the warmth that radiates from this nursery. One member of staff is great, and you can see how much she cares for the children; she is always there if you have any queries
or concerns and will always act on anything you ask for care-wise. My daughter's key person is lovely and caring, and I can see my daughter has a good relationship with her. There are also other staff members I see that are always friendly and helpful. The staff are a good reflection of the management and the company itself. I love the app, as I can see what she's up to all day, which is lovely. So happy my daughter is happy, and I would highly recommend this nursery.

Following my recent review of Chestnut Tree Day Nursery, this has resulted in the Managing Director, terminating our contract with immediate effect.
My son started attending the nursery in January 2022, four days a week. However, due to concerns about inadequate care, we switched to using two nurseries
in November 2022 because the second nursery only had space for two days which never caused any confusion but rather a relief. The best efforts of the staff will only be to few kids, and a disproportionate staff-to-children ratio prevents them from providing the best possible care for all the children.
Since December the nursery has been without a manager. This high staff turnover, likely due to the stressful staff-to-children ratio, is a major concern which is not mainly due to the current staffing issues with early years. The council is aware of issues but nothing has changed. I hope this will prompt Ofsted to take action to safeguard the children.

Our daughter started the nursery three or so months ago and attends two days a week. She is in the baby room.
Our daughter settled very quickly and I think this was largely due to the very nurturing nature of the staff.
Communication is fantastic and is made easier by use of an online app. Staff
are very accommodating and are always open to hearing any concerns that might arise for parents. Any such concerns are then proactively and quickly resolved.
Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and when we get there she leaps out of my arms and straight into the arms of whoever is there to greet us.
Dad and I have absolute faith and confidence that our daughter is safe and very happy at Chestnut Tree Day Nursery and are so grateful to all of the staff there for all their ongoing love and care.

Our son has been going to this nursery for just under a year, he is in Tinies and attends 3 days a week and loves it. All the staff at the nursery are great, they make an effort to know all the children's names and parents even those that are not in their classes. Our son's development has come on so
much in such a short amount of time, thanks to his room leader and all the wonderful staff he interacts with on a daily basis. We get daily updates and photos which really does give you peace of mind.

My daughter has been attending full time since January when she was 14 months. She had difficulty previously settling with a childminder and I was very worried about how she would cope. The staff at Chestnut Tree Day Nursery were amazing, especially the manager, deputy and baby room staff. They were
so nurturing with her that after a week she was leaning out for them to take her and waving me off. I receive pictures throughout the day showing what she’s doing, and daily knowledgeable updates from the staff. She loves being at nursery and is so excited when she knows that’s where she’s going. The staff are what makes this nursery a truly fun and happy place, the care that is shown is above and beyond what I could have hoped for.

My daughter has settled in very well and loves all the staff. She has come a long way already. She is 2 and a bit delayed and possibly autistic and the nursery has been nothing but accommodating for her. They work closely with her and I have noticed she is picking a few things up. She doesn’t usually
play with other children but she has just started to join in with the other children in her room. She is also a fussy eater but has started to try all different types of food when at nursery which is great! We are definitely going to apply for her to go up to the preschool room when she turns 3 as we all love it there! She has grown very close to one of the staff members in particular and I love seeing their bond when I pick her up!

I was very nervous at first while settling down my 15-months-old child after the second lockdown because she hasn't seen anyone other than dad and granny. The staff took really good care of her, and she settled quite well. Even though she attends only twice a day, she has learnt so many things, and
more importantly, she doesn't cry when she sees strangers anymore. I can see she is more interactive and improved on her gesture. The nursery also provides emergency childcare session, which is very handy for me as I don't need to worry about finding another place or friends or family to look after my child in case I need to leave her on a day other than her usual days.
