Be careful with this nursery and for parents who have never used a nursery before make sure you ask for a breakdown in cost for 0-2 and 3 and above because they charge you more even with the funded hours. When my child turned 3 her charges more than doubled to what I was paying when she was 2. So ask
for everything in writing or email. This nursery is very unorganised and doesn't take responsibility for any mistakes. Do not use this nursery because they are not upfront and honest about what you're paying for.

Any adjustments in charges when a child turns two or three are due to the way government-funded hours are allocated and not because we increase our own fees arbitrarily. The local councils set the funding rates and, when children turn three, those rates drop considerably. Your grievance should be with the local council and not with our nursery. We are always fully transparent about our fees, which are clearly outlined for all parents before their children start attending nursery. We refute your allegation that we are not upfront or honest. Please do not use a fees issue to discredit the standard of care and education provided - this is petty and unnecessary. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us directly. I am deeply disappointed and concerned about the lack of proper safeguarding measures and the overall management response at Kids Inc Nursery. My two children have been attending this nursery, and over the past three months, my younger son has suffered two severe injuries while in their care. Both incidents
were serious enough to require hospitalization, and one even led to surgery.
As a parent, I trusted Kids Inc Nursery to provide a safe and nurturing environment for my children, but they have failed to meet even the most basic standards of care. The fact that my child has been injured twice in such a short period of time raises serious concerns about the safety protocols in place at this nursery.
It is heartbreaking to think that my child has had to go through so much pain and trauma. I strongly urge other parents to consider this experience before enrolling their children at Kids Inc Nursery.

We are of course always concerned when a child encounters any sort of incident at nursery, but we would like to reassure you once again that your child's injuries were purely development-related. Whilst you did take your child to the hospital to be checked (as we recommended), the 'surgery' that you refer to was in fact when your child needed stitches. The nursery acted entirely appropriately and delivered the correct follow-up care in a safe environment. As you are aware, this has been confirmed by Ofsted. Following the second incident, your older child still attended nursery, showing your continued faith in the staff team. Indeed, in a previous review, you wrote 'we found the Kids Inc team to be helpful in all matters, management is always approachable, highly recommended to everyone' and gave us five stars in all areas. It is a shame you felt the need to leave a poor review when we were not at fault.

I enrolled my child in Kids Inc for a three-hour slot starting in September 2023. Initially expecting a positive experience, I soon found that I was not permitted to accompany my baby, leading to his development of trauma and separation anxiety. Despite my requests, the staff never took him outside
or fed him properly. Moreover, they disregarded my efforts to reduce his dummy time, always offering it to him to quell his crying. It’s not worth the money I paid to them. Fortunately, his new nursery is gradually easing him into independence, and within 20 days, he will be fully settled there.

We were very saddened to read your review and feel your comments are not balanced or accurate, and hence a misleading reflection on the nursery. Parents are always permitted to stay during settling-in and we offer as many settling-in sessions as needed. On reviewing our records, it seems that although you booked three 5-hour half-days per week (we do not offer 3-hour sessions), you only left your child for between 1.5 and 3 hours at a time, making it difficult for him to connect with the team and his peers. All children are fed and taken outdoors throughout the day. Your child may have missed garden time due to shorter sessions. Mealtimes might have been a better experience if we had been aware of his medical condition, which wasn't discovered until shortly before you withdrew him from the nursery. Your comments are conjecture and defamatory, and it is regrettable that you felt the need to express your thoughts in this way, rather than talking to us directly.

My daughter likes the staff and the nursery. She enjoys doing activities with the staff. All the staff are very nice and also the management doing their job well. School facilities are good. Maybe cleanliness can be improved I believe.

I’m delighted with the experience I’ve had with the team! They’re truly amazing, when my daughter joined back in October, the settling-in sessions were great. My daughter instantly connected with her key worker and, as a first-time mum, I felt at peace knowing she was in safe and capable hands. My daughter
has recently transitioned to potty training and the support whilst has been very helpful. I receive regular updates and photos via the nursery app as well as a daily feedback report and review of the day when collecting my child from nursery. Overall very pleased!

My son has been in the nursery for the last 1.5 years and I can only admire the work the nursery is doing, he has progressed so much in terms of social skills, learning skills and language skills. The nursery staff has been really great and is so caring and loving, my son loves going to the nursery!
I would only recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place to send their child to!

My daughter started at Kids Inc York Road at 12 months and has been attending fulltime for 10 months now. We’ve had such a great experience with this nursery and it has allowed us to feel confident leaving our little girl. She loves the nursery and has really thrived during her time here. The staff
have shown a lot of genuine care for her so I know she’s in good hands.

The nursery constantly works hard to ensure all adults engage with all children. The environment is friendly and welcoming which puts parents at ease when leaving their little darlings for the day. My son thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and often refuses to leave at the end of the day.

My son went to Kids Inc before he was 2, he absolutely loved it. He started big school in September last and I felt he was ready to take the next step with the support of all the staff. My daughter has been going here since she was 9 months. I would highly recommend this nursery, especially if you are
a worried parent like me who didn't want to go back to work, after maternity. Staff not only support your child but the parents too in the transition. The place is clean and tidy, the staff are super lovely and always willing to accommodate on the last minute if needed.

Great nursery. Love that we get a daily feedback sheet. The app keeps us parents well connected with the nursery and we love to see what our child has been getting up. Staff are all very lovely and provide feedback daily when I collect my child. Would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.
The food provided to the children is varied which exposes them to different types of foods and they are very good at accommodating different dietary needs e.g. halal.

We started thinking about nurseries back in April 2022. Kids Inc came highly recommended from friends and colleagues who have used the nursery before. Kids Inc was the first nursery we went to view. They were very accommodating and friendly. We instantly felt happy and safe to enrol our daughter. During
the settling in period the staff were very precise and reassuring.
A year later, my daughter still enjoys going to the nursery and has made fantastic progress with her development. Any questions or requests are addressed immediately and all contact made is in a professional manner.
As a first time parent, I am very impressed with the service and would highly recommend the nursery to other parents/carers.

My son started at York Road in September 2022, it was slightly out of the way for us but I just couldn’t help but love the nursery and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.
They have been very supportive of my son's needs, and responsive to SEN support.
He has made close bonds with the staff who
support him, and despite regressing due to relocation is just starting with short sentences and his confidence in speech is blossoming well again. They are very accommodating of the things he struggles with, and have gone out of their way to make his classroom a comfortable environment he can enjoy.
They offer a lovely healthy menu that unfortunately my boys often too picky to enjoy but he has been encouraged and is trying bit by bit each day.
He loves the outdoor area which has plenty of sensory play to enjoy.
Staff, SENco and management have all been highly supportive and adaptable.

My daughter has been going to Kids Inc. for 7 months since we moved from India. She was able to cope with the environment very well due to the support from the staff.
She has been having a lot of fun going to the nursery and has learned a variety of new things which is something I am very happy about

My child has been attending the nursery since she turned 1 year old in 2021. As a first-time mum, I was really worried about sending her to nursery and how she would be like. The staff at Kids Inc have always reassured me and made me feel at ease! My daughter turned 2 in November and she absolutely
loves going to nursery, she even says her key workers are her friends, which I find really sweet! She comes home happy and tells me all about her wonderful day.
Also, they keep her clean and she has never come back with a nappy rash!
Couldn’t recommend the nursery enough!

The best thing about the nursery is that my son loves to go there. And as a mother I can sense that he feels happy and safe there. The staff is really sweet, helpful and always smiling. Fantastic nursery my son went there and now have sent my daughter there they both loved it. You can see how much she enjoys herself. The skills my daughter is learning while there is amazing. Staff are brilliant and management are great and always on hand.
