The Early Years Practitioners at Coombe Day Nursery believe in offering the children the best educational, fun and caring start during their early years. The nursery provides educational equipment and activities to help further the children's learning and development (in accordance with the statutory framework, the Early Years Foundation Stage).

Coombe Day Nursery offers full day care with all-inclusive fees. These include well-balanced meals and snacks, which follow the healthy food and drink guidelines, additional classes, nappies, wipes, milks and more! Coombe Day Nursery offers a stimulating environment and supports the children in learning through their play.

These training skills are especially needed for the lovely outings the children go on! The children also enjoy a variety of small world play, natural material play, sensory play and focus activities (following all the EYFS areas of learning). Children also participate in external classes; music and drama, tennis, French class, yoga and other activities. These all contribute towards their fun learning environment. Richmond Park is also near the nursery, meaning regular woodland trips.

Practitioners understand that health and safety and safeguarding is paramount when caring for the children. All practitioners are first aid trained, safeguarding trained and food and hygiene trained. COVID-19 training has also been completed by all nursery staff and are following their Early Years system of controls.

The nursery manager and deputy manager are a dream team, and they do the most beautiful job of creating a warm and nurturing environment that our little girl adored and totally thrived in. We have recently relocated and experienced a couple of new settings for our children, which has only highlighted
how lucky we were with Coombe. Their communication with parents is particularly great, and we will never forget how supportive they were throughout settling, sickness, potty training and the stresses of moving.

My 2nd child is now at Coombe because the standard of care is so incredibly high. Parents feel listened to and most importantly the kids feel loved and cared for. A warm, friendly place filled with fun and joy.

Our two-year-old boy loves his time at Coombe Day Nursery. He has plenty of time to play outside in the garden, lots of activities to keep him entertained, he sleeps well, eats well - he waves us off in the morning looking happy and is still smiling when we pick him up!
The staff are all lovely and
are incredibly helpful and supportive. The management team are also super efficient and organised which makes our overall experience seem pretty seamless. Thank you for everything you do!

Incredibly friendly and efficient staff, kids absolutely love their time here (they attend five days per week). Would highly recommend - activities are varied and well-prepared, regular communication between the nursery and parents too.

This is a fantastic nursery, very well run and the children’s care and development is put at the centre.
Activities are varied and staff are excellent and caring. The children seem very happy here and content.
Staff are great at encouraging children to learn new skills and become more independent.

A fantastic nursery, kind and caring staff whom my daughter loves and a great variety of activities, outings and learning experiences, she is very happy there and has really progressed in her learning during her time there. Our daughter absolutely loves going to Coombe Day Nursery. She is so excited to go every morning and sometimes refuses to leave in the evening! The staff are all amazing, they do so many different activities each week and have a wide range of food. Couldn’t recommend Coombe more.

Coombe Day Nursery is just fantastic in every way. I cannot praise the whole team enough. Our son has been at CDN for two years and is so happy here. He has moved through rooms with age and every room team have their own style but an overall consistency. All staff are warm, understanding, and have a
brilliant sense of humour but most of all are professional. The activities our son participates in on a weekly basis are great. If we ever need anything communication is swift, sensible and empathetic. We leave our son knowing he is in the best possible hands. Thank you to the nursery manager and her team.

Coombe Day Nursery is a very special place. My eldest has been there for three years, from 9 months old, and the level of care she has received is exceptional. The manager and staff are all fabulous and really accommodating to the children’s individual needs. I feel my daughter has learnt so much as
well and I’m really impressed with what the nursery teaches them. She also loves all the musical and sporting extra activities they do. My youngest took a while to settle and the baby room staff were so helpful and comforting. Now both girls are very happy there and it’s such a relief going to work knowing they are so well cared for and having a fabulous time!

I'm so glad I found Coombe Day Nursery! My son joined this year and the manager and the team have continued to go to great lengths to make us all feel welcome. Communication has been fantastic from day one with pictures and updates each week. It's wonderful to see how close my son is with the staff
and how comfortable he feels there, which obviously then makes me feel just as comfortable leaving him. They do day trips and lots of different activities. The menu changes to keep the food offered varied. They're a wonderful team and I highly recommend the nursery.

Anyone who is able to have their child at this nursery is a lucky parent. I worry about everything since having a baby and I can honestly say that one of the only times I don't is when our daughter is at this lovely nursery. She was young when she started and they could not have been sweeter or kinder.
Easily the best nursery in the area and the best staff. We would recommend them to anyone and always feel so lucky that our daughter gets to go to nursery with them. Everyone has a smile, our key workers are wonderful (thank you, and the manager) but they are all great. Hard to find. Worth every single penny and more.

Our daughter loves running into the baby room and giving the staff there a cuddle. She also comes home and says new words that we haven't said to her (i.e. she is learning at nursery). What more does a parent want? Huge shout out to the staff in the baby room.

It's a lovely nursery with caring staff, great learning resources and activities. We have two children who attended the nursery and both love it. The outside space is small but kids go out on trips to the park and playground.

This nursery is a great combination of caring, creativity and kindness. Each day is filled with activities like yoga, teddy tennis and Zumba to name but three - not to mention Mandarin! You get the impression that the kids are taught life lessons, like politeness and consideration, with gentle guidance.
I cannot recommend the place highly enough.

I would highly recommend Coombe Day Nursery. My eldest has been going since she was 11 months and will stay there until she goes to school in September and my youngest has also recently started at 11 months. The staff are very caring, engaged and dedicated. Both children have been really happy there
and I'm so glad we chose to send them to Coombe Day Nursery. The staff form strong bonds with the children because they are very loving and create a nurturing environment. They provide fantastic activities and the children always seem to be doing fun and creative things. My eldest also really enjoys Zumba and yoga! I'm very happy with how my eldest is learning in the preschool room and I feel that she is well set up for when she starts school in September. The nursery has also dealt well during the pandemic which has obviously been an extremely difficult situation.

I would recommend Coombe Day Nursery wholeheartedly and without hesitation. The fantastic staff, setting and ethos of the nursery are all exactly what any parent could wish for: you know with full confidence when you drop off your children that they will spend their days surrounded by a loving, enthusiastic
and highly competent team who are truly engaged and interested in their individual development and wellbeing. They are stimulated with a huge range of activities, supported to learn at their own pace and helped to socialise well with their peers and the nursery team. It’s obvious that all the staff love the children and really want to be there, and they have all gone far above and beyond during the pandemic to ensure the environment is safe while being able to keep as many children at nursery as possible. The team are always responsive and keen for feedback to improve the experience they provide. Quite simply a wonderful place for children to learn and play.

Our son has been at Coombe Day Nursery for almost a year. When we first went to see the nursery we were so impressed by how happy both children and staff seemed to be. Toys were creatively laid out for fun and learning, the horseshoe structure of the nursery meant children would see and learn from the
‘older class’ before progressing there (easing transitions) and the nursery manager was clearly so passionate about creative learning. She also obviously doted on the children and really backed her team.
Our 18-month-old son loves it. That is all we want. He happily bounds into nursery every morning, hugs his practitioners (shout out to the room lead for baby class, nursery room leader in his current room and assistant who he seems particularly smitten with!) and tucks straight into breakfast. He regularly surprises us with things he’s learnt there, from the actions to songs, saying “bonjour”, the way he holds crayons, his enthusiasm for painting…the list goes on. Thank you Coombe team!

Excellent nursery that our son clearly loves as he runs in each time. Our son only attends two days a week but all the staff make an effort to get to know him and he’s very much included in his room. The staff are very caring but also offer pragmatic care when it comes to coughs, colds and sniffles,
they do their best to keep children in their care without calling parents to pick up unless really necessary. Staff also really listen and make an effort to support any learning or routines which are happening at home such as nap routines or potty training.
The recent trips to the park or a local shop are fantastic for getting the children outside which we really value, in addition to activities such as tennis and Zumba which offer alternative experiences that we don’t do at home! Keep up the good work!

My son loves going to Coombe Day Nursery. We have never had a problem getting him to go in, he talks warmly about the practitioners who work with him, he is very proud of the things he does there and has progressed in his time there. As a parent, I find the staff very supportive and engaged with the
children. Over recent weeks they have had to go through the potty training process with us which has not been easy but have been very encouraging over our son and of us.
