The nursery has a happy, light quality that is also extremely well-considered. I would like to say thank you to all the staff's hard work and all the support you have given our son over the two years. My son has been given a wonderful, enjoyable, caring start to his school life and are confident this
will reflect on his progression into his next school.

We've had a superb experience at First Step Day Nursery. The staff are excellent and our daughter has become very attached to them all. She loves going and has really fitted in well, they have also done wonders in boosting her confidence. The team provides term updates on what children will be learning
and how you can help and be involved. The facilities are great for little ones and our daughter especially loves the garden. Feedback is provided regularly at pickup and in a more formal report card at the end of each term. They have also been really accomodating with increasing days as my job became more demanding. It's wonderful to know she is going somewhere where she is so happy and well looked after!

Our child has been at First Step for 2.5 years, from the baby room to toddler room to pre-school, and it has been wonderful throughout. The staff have all been energetic, bright, truly engaged with the kids, playful and caring and our child has got on with all of them. Facilities are good and the garden
a blessing, they get the kids out there whenever possible, which the kids all love, and they can mingle between age groups there, which was great for our child. The Manager and the team are always very open to chat about anything and are flexible and helpful. There's a lovely family vibe, with kids and parents meeting outside nursery hours too. The only slight negatives are several staff moving on (for positive career progression), which is sad for our child, and part-time/additional hours fee structuring we found slightly awkward. We deeply appreciate having such a wonderful nursery on our doorstep, have actively recommended it to multiple other families, and will be excited to send our baby there too!

It has been an excellent experience! I felt that we had great value for money sending our children to this nursery. Our kid loved the outdoor area, which is very spacious and they also had access to lots of activities, as well as traditional games and toys. Our kid also enjoys storyteller sessions every
Thursday, which we thought was a nice touch that we hadn’t seen other nurseries provide. Most importantly, there were so many opportunities to get feedback from the staff on the progress of our child, daily feedback also using a communication book and meeting every term to update us about her progress. The staff are all very lovely and would always be available to give daily feedback. Our kid also had daily diaries, which went between home and the nursery. The nursery also did a newsletter every few months as well so my partner and I feel very well informed and connected.
