Fountain Montessori is a nursery school providing child care in the quiet pleasant road near Edgware station. Fountain Montessori is located in a bright and airy Parish Hall, and children have access to a beautiful playground and vegetable garden from their classrooms. Fountain Montessori provides a learning environment based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and principles of a child-centred education. It is their mission to provide students and their families with a harmonious, ordered and nurturing atmosphere where the whole child can develop according to their individual needs.

The classroom at Fountain Montessori nursery is designed to provide a prepared environment which constantly stimulates the child's natural desire to learn and explore through the use of hands-on learning materials.

They welcome families with children aged 12 months to 6 years to two programs which allow children to grow, learn and play in a unique atmosphere purposely created for them.

My 2-year-old daughter just loves to go to Fountain Montessori Nursery. She has a lot of confidence and tries to be very independent. Her key worker is absolutely very caring and takes time to give feedback. All the staff are very caring and helpful and energetic.

Our daughter has settled well at this nursery. Practitioners are well trained and provide regular updates on our child. The support we have seen is amazing and we have seen our child develop many skills.

My child has been doing great at Fountain Montessori. He has progressed massively since joining. He always enjoys his time there. He has been eating more food and talking more since starting. The teachers are all very kind and helpful with him.

The best nursery school that supports and helps achieve children's individual needs and goals. We knock open the door of Fountain Montessori Edgware carrying a very specific purpose: to ask for help in preparing our daughter ready for private school assessment. Back then, our little one didn't speak
English, was super shy, lack of social skills... and only 6 months later, today we received the offer from our dream school. Beyond the academic aspect, my daughter has totally changed, becoming a confident, curious and active young lady and also as caring, loving and open-minded as how her teachers are!
Teachers and staff are very knowledgeable and always approachable. We have been kindly shared with tips in many aspects, from phonic pronunciation, and drawing skills, across through school information and selection, to children's development...Truly thankful and grateful, and strongly recommend it!

We are very happy with Fountain Montessori Colindale. I really love the staff, they don’t just look after the children, but they truly love, nurture and look after them. Besides, the curriculum is very well built up and all the activities are very playful.
My child has learnt a lot since she started
and when she comes home she never fails to surprise us with all the amazing things she learnt at the nursery. She’s taught a lot of good behaviours, life skills and encouraged to do things independently.
I like that the nursery is fairly small and my child doesn’t get ‘lost’ amongst the other kids.
The nursery staff cooperates very closely with parents, communicating observations about the children and aligning on behavioural patterns. They proactively advise on how to tackle potential challenges, so the children are facing the same boundaries and principles at home and in the nursery.

Both my boys (currently aged 2 years 6 months and 3 years 10 months) have been attending this nursery since the age of 15 months. It has been the backbone of their development, teaching at a slow and steady pace but with such enthusiasm. They have received a ton of love and care since starting at 15
months which allowed them to settle in so swiftly, as they are growing the nursery is doing a fine job in transitioning them from a warm home environment to a place of focus and knowledge ready to start school in September.


They have been such a support system to not only the children but to myself and my husband, helping us through tough parenting times including potty training and the terrible two's. I can not recommend this nursery and all its staff enough and look forward to being part of their community for another couple of years.

We have been with the nursery since January and enjoyed watching our daughter settle in and build relationships with the staff. All staff have been very kind and welcoming and our daughter enjoys her days spending time with them and exploring all the activities set out by them.

This is a great nursery for young children. The staff are so warm and affectionate, they are so caring and considerate of the children. Our daughter was 10 months when she started and now at 2 yrs absolutely loves the place, has made so many friends which she talks about at home all the time. She loves
her teachers and key worker, and has become such a confident speaker thanks to this friendly environment.

Moving my son 2 years ago from his previous nursery to fountain nursery was the best choice I ever made. I can truly say that the fountain nursery has had positive impacts on the growth and development of my son, he is now a happy and inquisitive child. I did not hesitate to also send my daughter as
soon as I could from an early age.


The staff make my children feel so comfortable and like they are at their second home. I am very happy with the curriculum and the fact that they get every child involved in the learning and activities, including the more introverted children. I also love that the nursery promotes a healthy diet and both my children love fruit and vegetables, which means I can spoil my children on the weekends. Proud parents of children that go to Fountain Montessori Nursery!

My daughter attends Fountain Montessori - Edgware. All I can say is wow, what a great experience it has been for me as a nervous/overprotective mum and for my girl who had a hard time settling - but now she is a changed child. She loves going back to the nursery. I am so impressed with the observations
and the homework she comes with. I am so excited to see her progress here. A great choice for me and my family.

The staff at Fountain Montessori have been nothing but caring and nurturing towards my son. I have seen such incredible growth and development in him and I know he is in good hands. The team really do treat the kids as their own. Just yesterday they arranged a Zoom party for his birthday which was so
thoughtful and special. I am sure he will continue to thrive as he moves into his next class.

A lovely nursery with such warm-hearted teachers. I love the different activities and themes every week, they are very creative and my daughter loves it. Friendly nursery and they give great reassurance about covid and the great measures they’ve taken for cleanliness.

She loved the various activities, copy me songs, role-plays and she enjoyed the garden very much.
