Busy Bees London ExCeL in Docklands is a purpose-built modern nursery all on one level, which is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from either Royal Victoria & Custom House stations (DLR and Elizabeth line), right in front of the ExCel convention and exhibition centre.

There are five well equipped rooms, one for each age group. Each room has access to its own secure and spacious garden where the children free flow in & out with plenty of space to develop their motor & physical skills. Furthermore, it provides extra option such as swimming & music classes and children haircut.

Daily activities are based on the children’s individual interests and development. The team promote and support the wellbeing of each child, understanding their individual requirements, and provide a fun and safe environment for the children to learn, enjoy and grow.

The nursery has fully equipped, 5* hygiene rated kitchen where the chef prepares fresh food for children daily. All menus are seasonal & NHS accredited to ensure a healthy balanced diet for children. Busy Bees does its best to cater for all allergy and dietary requirements, including Halal & vegetarian.

My son loves Busy Bees London ExCel! The staff are very friendly and caring and they always provide quality activities and share my son's recent interest with us. They are also very supportive during the settling-in session, so my son transitioned very smoothly from home to the nursery! Thank you.

I have had two children attend the nursery and I cannot fault it. Both my children started as a baby. My daughter currently attends as she is so excited to go every day. She loves her teachers and has learned a lot. They share feedback on her development and she has progressed so much.

Great baby, first steps and toddler rooms. (Only very recently joined preschooler room).
Excellent educators for the first two years; attention to the child’s interests and helping them develop key skills. Great communication between nursery and family.
It’s visible the interest and care the educators
show towards the children. Very good scope of activities, particularly in toddler room (1-2 year).

My son has attended Busy Bees, London ExCel from 11 months old. The care my child has received from when he was a baby to now (he is a pre-schooler), has been amazing. My son has been thriving every day. They have access to the garden every day with so many fun activities set up inside and out! They
also keep us updated on the app with pictures. I have definitely seen a change in my son's development and behaviour. Thanks to the management and the amazing teachers for all the help.

Overall, a good experience with the nursery. The settlement has been handled with care and interest for my son. The staff have been responsive to his needs, providing a range of activities for his development. Like the fact that there are some additional activities planned for the kids with the participation
of outside teachers/artists like ceramics.

My son attended Busy Bees London ExCel from age 18 months to 3.5 years when we moved overseas. I highly recommend this nursery, the staff are all lovely and were so caring towards him. He was so happy to attend every day and loved the staff. They are also very supportive of special educational needs
and worked closely with my family during an assessment period for my son. It is a very inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

I absolutely love Busy Bees London ExCel for my child, from settling sessions to daily activities. He is always looking forward to going to nursery. I get loads of pictures on the app to keep me updated on what my child has been up to at nursery. My first son attended this nursery too and standard is
still more or less the same as it was about 4/5 years ago. Great nursery overall.

It's nearly been 2 months since my baby boy started at Busy Bees London Docklands. Even though he is little I can tell he loves the time he spends at nursery. The nurses always make him feel welcome and safe so he hasn't cried once when dropped off. The parent app has helped me a lot to understand how
well his eating and sleeping and his nappy changes, and so I can plan the rest of the day when I pick him up; it is also amazing to see photos of my son through the app to know he is enjoying himself while at the nursery! The nurses always take good time during the handovers to explain how he is doing and, also so I can ask them any questions. The management team has also been helpful and efficient all the time, and always with a smile! I can tell they know my son and they adapt activities for his age and development stage. I highly recommend this nursery!

My son has been attending the nursery for almost 2 years. He really enjoyed spending time with his peers and developed a strong affection for one member of staff who helped him with his speech and his key Person. He is now more independent, confident and well prepared to start the reception and I know
the team has played a big part. We have been truly amazed by the professionalism of the team and especially in those unfortunate circumstances. It’s a 5 stars service for us!

My elder daughter went to Busy Bees at 8 months old and was there till pre-school. She loved being there at the nursery because of the loving and caring staff but also due to various activities they have planned for development of the children. Currently, my younger daughter goes to Busy Bees and I
can see the progress she has made in her verbal and emotional development. I am always a huge supporter of the nursery!!

Busy Bees at Excel is an absolutely wonderful nursery, so caring and supportive. Both of my kids went there, and they love it! There's a very good caring staff. We've been impressed by how well they've responded to the COVID crisis to support the kids. I'd definitely recommend it!

My partner and I had visited several nurseries when our child was due to start nursery in and around the area and we found Busy Bees to meet all of our requirements in terms of management and teaching quality.
Since starting nursery our child has developed many new skills and made lots of new friends
and is very happy and looks forward to attending.
I have no hesitation recommending Busy Bees. The rooms and gardens are spacious and the teaching quality and management is very high.

Staff are very professional and also personable. My child has formed some lovely relationships with key workers and other staff, regularly speaking about them in a positive way at home. Staff have also responded well to our requests for information, guidance and support. There are many engaging activities
throughout the day for the children to participate in, all of which are provided in a relaxed, friendly and safe environment. The nursery has regularly held events for families pre-COVID and their recent return-to-nursery program has been commendable their security protocols are likewise good.
The menu looks delicious and is regularly rotated with parental inputs considered.
We are comfortable and happy to leave our child in their care, even in the current challenging environment and we also very glad we chose this nursery - we would recommend it to friends, family and others alike.

My darling son has been attending the nursery since he was 2.5 years old. He was diagnosed as ASD. I can honestly say the effort, everyone, in the nursery, has put in, and support we as a family have received has been phenomenal. He has excelled, he has made friends, he is doing so well and loves going
to the nursery. This nursery has made a true difference in our lives, and I will always recommend them, not just for how well they care for children, but also children with extra needs. We are thankful every day that we found this nursery.

My daughter joined the nursery at 8-months-old, we were so apprehensive about her joining but they soon reassured us. She settled so well and is still thoroughly enjoying her experience at the nursery 10 months later. The food is fantastic, always a good hot served lunch and such a variety which alternates
weekly, our daughter gets fed better than us. I'm so grateful for a caring team to care and educate our young child. Thank you so much to the staff, you are amazing.

We are first time parents and I was not happy to be putting my son in a nursery, I was very nervous. My son is now one year old and I have to say that the nursery staff and nursery environment has been amazing for the growth of my son and his confidence and social skills. I am easy and happy to leave
him in their care while we are at work. I know he will be safe and he loves going there. Recommend them to everyone I know and anyone who asks.

I Joined Busy Bees in 2008 as a Qualified Educator. I worked in the Pre-School and then became a Senior Room Manager, Assistant Centre Director to Centre Director.
