Little Jewels Pre-School understands the value of a sound early years education, helping children to progress in a friendly and supportive environment throughout their approach to formal learning.

A qualified team are experienced in bringing the best out of children, with a strong focus on language, imaginative play and social interaction, making the most of learning through play potential.

A wide range of extra-curriculum activities are incorporated, as well as outdoor trips, nature walks and trips to the local library, with parents regularly consulted regarding their child's progress.

My son currently attends Little Jewels and looks forward to going there in the morning. He's still happy and smiling when we pick him up at the end of the day, loves all the staff and has made some good friends with the other children there. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and put in
a huge effort to make the day fun. He often comes home with paintings, crafts or even baking, but also is free to spend the day doing as much or as little as he chooses. I'm very happy with Little Jewels.

Our daughter loves going to this nursery and this is what matters most to us. Also that the nursery is one big space with no separated rooms for different age groups is actually a plus as the little ones mingle with and learn from the older children.

I’m very happy with the care and education my daughter is receiving at Little Jewels. She settled in well from day one and the great rapport between her, the staff and the other children is lovely to see. The staff have been very proactive in identifying where she needs extra support and making sure
she gets it. I can see her learning new things and developing all the time. I particularly like the friendly ethos and the sense of community.
I’m confident the time she has spent here means she’ll be well prepared for school. The friendships and relationships she has developed, too, have given her a really solid foundation.

Our daughter was at Little Jewels from about 18 months to 4 years. She had three key workers over that time and got on really well with all of them. She had a great time and learned so much. We particularly loved how all the children of all ages are together. We appreciated the interesting trips they
took the kids on. The staff cared for her, encouraged her interests (craft!), always dealt well with inevitable mishaps. Very happy with the decision we made. She will miss it.

I highly recommend Little Jewels. My two children have loved it there - the staff are fantastic; I know that my children are genuinely cared for, and for that alone, I have recommended it to a couple of friends (whose children are now also happy there).


The atmosphere is lovely, and the team are

My twins attended Little Jewels from 15 months to 4 years - they were extremely well looked after and had a wonderful time. They are now starting school and I know that they will do well despite being very young for their year. Little Jewels staff are absolutely lovely and took amazing care of the twins.

Both my children have attended Little Jewels Pre-School. My daughter is now 9 and my son still attends who is 3 years old. Little Jewels has been a wonderful experience for both my children and for us as parents. The staff are always full of energy and they really do care about the children. The manager
has created a wonderful, supportive work environment and the staff seem to have lots of opportunity for development, which shows in the quality of the care they provide. I love Little Jewels and so do my kids.

Little Jewels Pre-School is my daughter's second family - and sometimes feels like mine too! The staff are warm and caring and went the extra mile to help my daughter (a very shy 2-year-old at the time) settle in. She's grown in confidence, and it's a joy to see how happy she is there. Little Jewels
is a fun, creative and supportive environment, but I also feel my daughter's early education is taken seriously. The regular reports are detailed and sensitive and show a great understanding of her strengths and challenges. A really lovely place.

My son started attending Little Jewels 3 years ago. He had a developmental delay with his speech but the staff were supportive and were able to recommend and put in place therapy sessions by liaising with specialists. He has excelled in his development and I know that the dedication, commitment and
nurturing from the staff team have greatly contributed to this. I feel that Little Jewels provides more than what a nursery service offers. At Little Jewels it feels more like a family structure, my son loves it at this nursery. I have no concerns about his safety as I know that the staff are professional and follow safeguarding policies and procedures. I am always updated on his progress and achievements which are greatly appreciated. I also love the fact that there is a diverse staff team and each member of staff brings something special to the provision. My only negative is that he has to leave Little Jewels to start school in September.

1000000 characters wouldn't be enough to say how amazingly wonderful, brilliant, super helpful, happy, kind, caring and compassionate all the staff are. But the most truly beautiful thing to see is the real dedication, joy and love they show towards caring for all the children that they are asked to
look after each day. Honestly, it is so reassuringly nice knowing that my little nipper really is truly safe, happy, cared for and loved while there, so a BIG BIG thank you all so much ladies!

A fun and very happy place. Key workers are all very friendly. A great environment.
It's great how children of all ages mix together. I feel very comfortable leaving him in a nurturing place.
No idea how they get them all to go for a lunchtime nap but it works.

A really friendly, lovely nursery.
The best thing about it are the staff who seem to genuinely care about the children and there is a low turnover, so my girls have got to know them all really well. I have three children here the youngest, twins, started when they were one and settled incredibly quickly
- they haven't cried once at drop off. All the different ages are together - which works well for me as the twins can be with their older sister during the day (if they want).

I am extremely pleased with the nursery. My children love to go, and my youngest who goes only occasionally, gets her bag every morning to go with her brother! They enjoy every moment and learn a lot!

My daughter loves Little Jewels - there's lots of space for her to run around, a great stock of toys and activities and a regularly changing calendar of fun things to do. Best of all, all the staff are incredibly warm and loving - each and every one of them shows genuine enthusiasm for their work and
a huge amount of kindness to the children in their care. We're delighted we chose this nursery.

We love Little Jewels and so do our 2 children who attend there. In fact today (Sunday) my oldest asked if he could go and was very sad when I reminded him that it was closed and he couldn't! Our 1 year old started in January and took no time to settle in, he gets excited when we reach the gate each
morning because he knows how much fun he's going to have. As others have said, the staff are the key, they are all so caring and lovely and I have total faith in leaving my children with them. It's a safe, warm, creative and happy environment. Don't be put off by the space, they work as well as they can with what they have and the kids don't mind at all.

My only regret is my daughter didn't start at Little Jewels earlier! She's been there since her 2nd birthday and will sadly 'graduate' this year when she starts at our local school. As other parents have said, the staff are what make Little Jewels so great. They clearly love our children and take
pleasure and pride in their development. In what I'd describe as humble surroundings and facilities, they create magical days for our kids full of play, learning, structure and love. Our daughter likes to arrive at 8 on the dot and we're literally 'in trouble' if we collect her too early!


In addition, the parent updates, summer & Xmas plays, local trips and safety all exceed my expectations.


I can only hope school lives up to my now high expectations of care.

Little Jewels is a fabulous nursery, primarily because the carers are so wonderful. The staff are very flexible and my daughter runs inside in the morning without looking back. My son went to the nursery for about a year and now goes back during term breaks. My daughter has been there for over a
year. The facilities don't look like anything special but this is outweighed by the excellent care that my children receive. I was also worried when my daughter started that naps on a mat in the large room would make it difficult for her to sleep, however, she adjusted very quickly and it wasn't an issue at all. I would definitely recommend the nursery.
