This branch was opened in July 2014 and replaces the original Little Learners.

The detached building has its own parking at the front for parents to drop off and collect their child.

The building is split over 2 floors;

On the ground floor they have two rooms for Under 2’s. In these rooms the children have a wide variety of resources for them to explore and a large area for creative play. Each room has direct access into the separate baby garden which has a variety of play equipment.

For the Over 2’s the children have use of a well stocked creative room where they have access to paint, playdough, drawing, sand/water tray and computers. The children have access to the nursery garden from this room.

Upstairs there are 3 areas for the children to explore. There is a maths/science area where children can experiment and investigate a wide variety of resources. Children also get to care for the nursery pets which are stick insects, fish and giant land snails.

There is a story area where children can select books to look and enjoy stories being read to them.

The other room is for role play and small world activities. Children have access to a large role play area which is changed to accommodate the children’s interests along with a large dolls house and other small world activities. This room also has a writing area where children can experiment with mark making.

Children’s bathrooms are also located on this floor.

There is an extensive garden for the children to use which includes a large climbing frame, trampoline, playhouse, planting area, sensory garden, large sand pit with pirate ship, story area and picnic area. They also have a large variety of smaller equipment such as balls, hoops, bikes etc. The garden is also home to nursery rabbits and chickens.

This is an excellent nursery! My daughters have attended for 3 years now and they are so happy at Little Learners, as was my niece who attended before them. The staff are wonderful and the children's development has been brilliant! I would always recommend this nursery!

Both of our children attended this nursery and our youngest still attends. Our eldest was there for over three years and our youngest has been there almost two years. We are very happy with the environment, the staff, the activities, the lessons and overall child development at Little Learners Day Nursery.
The staff are friendly and the communication is very good, it is a great nursery and we highly recommend it.

I wanted to leave another review as my son is now 26 months old and still loves going to nursery. He's always taking part in fun activities that I would simply never be able to provide at home. His speech is developing so well and he is learning to express himself - he even gets to bake regularly and
is so excited to eat his creations when he gets home! I'm very happy with this nursery and the whole team does such a great job taking care of the children.

We are very pleased with the learning and development of our kid at the nursery. He has learned a lot from the staff and has been getting along well with them. We were impressed that he picked up numbers and colours very quickly not long after he joined the toddler room.

Both of my kids are going to this nursery. All the teachers are very good, friendly and help full. They do lots of different activities throughout the day. My kids are really enjoying it. They plan the area for different ages perfectly. I will really recommend this nursery to anyone.

They are very friendly staff but unfortunately, some girls are leaving and it's a bit confusing for the little ones. Everyone is nice but it would be better to have the same people for the baby room all the time.

Good nursery. My son enjoys it, been going there for the last 9 months. He seems to always be having fun with all the activities and happy with the staff there. I like the fact they upload pictures of what my son is doing and write something so that I know of his progress.

My child attends the Little learners (South Croydon) from nearly 2 years and enjoying it so much. His teachers are amazing and doing their jobs very well. I've never seen children fighting or not sharing the toys which is very common for their age and they all seem happy. I would recommend it to everyone.

My son has attended this nursery since May 2016 and I couldn't have wished for a better nursery, I visited about 6 prior to this one and there is something very warm about this nursery, the staff are lovely and very informative about your child's day. Also, I love the fact that my son has a learning
journal which I'm able to log into and see pictures of what he had been doing while I'm at work. Overall I would defiantly recommend.

My child has returned to Little Learners South Croydon using 3-year funding since spending almost a year in the teams care back in 2015 whilst I was working! I have to say I'm very impressed by the teams' supervision and care and the areas in which are available to my child! The outdoor space outweighs
many other nurseries and along with a confident down to earth managing team and supervision team I was very confident and am still confident my child would have a fun, safe and nurturing environment!

They make a very big difference between the children whose parents pay for the nursery and the ones who have come in the nursery with free hours from the government. In her very first role play on Christmas time the video recording had been given only to the parents who pay for nursery hours and my
daughter's one they " lost it " and they lost her spare set of clothes.

There is no difference between the service that we offer children who receive funding. In fact at Little Learners every child receives a nursery bag at a cost of £2.65 regardless of whether the child attends just for their government funding. Some other nurseries ask the parents who are receiving funding to bring in their own packed lunch as the nursery will not supply food. Our funded children receive breakfast, lunch or a snack and afternoon tea throughout their session.


Unfortunately some of the video recordings were unavailable to show parents due to poor quality so it was not a case of the funded children not receiving the video. For Safeguarding issues we felt that we could not allow parents to record the plays. The child's bag was on their peg but did not have any clothes in. The nursery has sets of spare clothes and children all have their own change of clothes so I cannot comment on where the clothes went.

Fantastic nursery - great staff, facilities and meals. My daughter loved going there and still talks about the staff and the friends she made. They do lots of activities, which makes learning fun for the children. They have days out and parties. Love the garden and the animals.

This is an absolutely fantastic nursery. My son has been in attendance since he was 1 year old. He is now 4 and I can say he truly loves it. The staff and management work in complete unison and no question or query is ever to large or small.
Myself and my son are always greeted with a huge smile and
always feel completely comfortable within the nursery. All members of staff know both my name and that of my daughter and we are always greeted by name. Wonderful place to grow and develop. I will put my second child in that nursery next year! You cant find any better than this!!
