This branch was opened in July 2014 and replaces the original Little Learners.

The detached building has its own parking at the front for parents to drop off and collect their child.

The building is split over 2 floors;

On the ground floor they have two rooms for Under 2’s. In these rooms the children have a wide variety of resources for them to explore and a large area for creative play. Each room has direct access into the separate baby garden which has a variety of play equipment.

For the Over 2’s the children have use of a well stocked creative room where they have access to paint, playdough, drawing, sand/water tray and computers. The children have access to the nursery garden from this room.

Upstairs there are 3 areas for the children to explore. There is a maths/science area where children can experiment and investigate a wide variety of resources. Children also get to care for the nursery pets which are stick insects, fish and giant land snails.

There is a story area where children can select books to look and enjoy stories being read to them.

The other room is for role play and small world activities. Children have access to a large role play area which is changed to accommodate the children’s interests along with a large dolls house and other small world activities. This room also has a writing area where children can experiment with mark making.

Children’s bathrooms are also located on this floor.

There is an extensive garden for the children to use which includes a large climbing frame, trampoline, playhouse, planting area, sensory garden, large sand pit with pirate ship, story area and picnic area. They also have a large variety of smaller equipment such as balls, hoops, bikes etc. The garden is also home to nursery rabbits and chickens.

I am really delighted with this nursery, they are very cooperative and very extra cautious on the children. They always update the parents and a lot of fantastic renews in the premises. Thank you to all Little Learners Nursery staff.

There have been a lot of staff changes in the past few months which was initially unsettling, however this has settled now and all staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional.


In the past, I felt that the communication between staff and parents was very poor and we were left relying on our

children to tell us what they had done through the day and what they'd eaten etc. However this has been addressed and is much more fluid. In saying this, there is still room for improvement; I recently sent an email regarding fees and had to chase at least three times and wait two weeks for a response.


I find the girls all lovely and if I had a problem I would happily go to any of them! The care that they provide for my child is second to none; he comes home happy and full of stories of his day, which is all I can ask!


In my opinion, after an initial unsettling period with management changes, the nursery has blossomed under the new leadership team!

My daughter loves attending Little Learners Day Nursery, in fact she gets upset when I tell her she isn't going in. The staff are very friendly and you can tell they care very much all for the children.
I find it brilliant that there is a wide range of activities for the children to do. My daughters
speaking has drastically improved since she first started this nursery. Such a wonderful nursery!

The staff at the nursery are fantastic. My daughter is particularly attached to me and she has settled and grown so much over the past 6 months with the nursery. I think their online observation system is fantastic and enjoy looking at what my little girl gets up to! Facilities are second to none. If
I had a second child they would be attending too!

I can't recommend this nursery enough. I love the little activities they run for parents to get involved with at the nursery. We feel totally informed about our daughters progress (she's been there for a about 4 months now) and feel part of the Little Learners extended family. We recently attended 'The
big breakfast' event and got to have a fry up with our daughter. Such a lovely idea and we loved it. I wish more parents had taken it up!
I have spoken to other parents with children in other Croydon nurseries and LL is definitely the best out of the lot, in my opinion. Possibly the best in South London (really it is!) We get access to our daughter's progression on the online learning journal, which is fantastic. We literally coo over her pictures and progress each time we log in. We don't know of any other nurseries that have this. A real achievement for LL!
LL has really been the best decision we've made for our daughter.
