The nursery at RAF Northolt is a purpose-built building offering bright and airy rooms. The nursery has a highly qualified and dedicated staff team that provides a fun and caring environment for children to nurture and develop.

Children learn through Unique Growing Programmes such as Growing Readers and Mathematicians. Physical activities are also an important part of a child’s day and the children engage in exercise through an Active Athletes programme. The nursery also offers extracurricular activities.

All meals are included in the nursery fees and are prepared onsite by the nursery cook. Meals are created using fresh ingredients and meet individual dietary requirements.

In addition, settling in sessions are provided free of charge enabling children to get to know their key worker and familiarise themselves with the nursery environment.

My son has attended Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt since he was 8 months old, he has transitioned through every room with excellent support from all members of staff. He is currently in his last year with Bright Horizons. The attention to detail form his Key workers is brilliant! They really know him
as a child and how to engage with him and support his learning.
I was an anxious first time mother, and the staff in the baby room helped to settle both my son and myself.
Everyone makes you feel welcome and you can tell they all work great together as one big happy team!
Thank you to everyone who has made our families time at Bright Horizons so wonderful.

Our whole family is delighted that our little girl can go to this wonderful place of care and learning.
She is there full time, five days a week - and I'm pretty sure she enjoys it a lot. She seems so happy and excited every morning when we drop her off - and chatty and happy when we pick her up in
the afternoon. The place is very welcoming and friendly - and you cannot fault their safety and security.


The personal attention all babies get is really nice and touching, and she bonded well with her key person and buddies. We both work full time with no family around to chip into childcare, so for us it vital that we know she's happy and enjoying her days while we are apart. They do so many exciting things - I don't think I could provide that much stimulation if we were at home together. The little ones seem to learn something new each day.


Overall, we are very happy with the nursery and love the staff.

My twins have been at this nursery for just over 2 years on a full-time basis. I can't rate the nursery highly enough.
Plenty of outdoor space is a real bonus and the kids get a lot of time outside.
Some change over of staff/key workers is inevitable and sad when it happened but my children have adapted
well to any changes and soon settled with new staff. Good communication with parents.
A fantastic facility at RAF Northolt - brilliant for service families but also catering for civilians without losing the understanding of the difficult needs of service children and parents.

Our son joined Bright Horizons at 11 months old and we refer to them as his "work family". He loved it from the very beginning. The care given is outstanding not only from his key workers but all of them. In the baby room, they really encouraged him to what level he was comfortable and did lots of development
activities which we also took on at home as he enjoyed them so much. He's now moved up to the 2-3 year room and continues to do well. One of the things we love is the nutrition of the meals which are made on site and the no pressure environment. Would highly recommend all aspects.

Simply fantastic. I was apprehensive as this was the first nursery I have used as we had a childminder at my previous location. They settled in amazingly with encouragement and confidence from the staff. If my son was sad, they let him go see his sister in the other class for a cuddle. They always went
above and beyond to make them feel special and comfortable.
Extremely professional, they record info during the day. They print photos for you to take home and tell you all about their day and keep you up to date with development.
They really did love my children; they were kind, compassionate and really interested in them. It’s like a big family in there and you can really feel the positive vibes and team ethos. They really do love their job.
The facilities are second to none; you won’t find a nursery with a better outdoor space in London or more secure location.
We sadly had to leave after 6 months due to a job move but in those 6 months the impact made will stay with us all forever.

I could not be happier with Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt. The care and attention my little boy receives are wonderful and as a result, he is very happy. I had to return to work earlier than I had anticipated, so was nervous leaving my baby. However, the staff were great with my baby and with me.
I love the weekly newsletters letting me know what will be happening the following week. The different foods and varying menus are fantastic and have expanded his already varied diet. The staff really do love my child. The garden/outdoor space is huge, far bigger than every other nursery I looked at. The number of different activities they do every day is impressive and as a result, I do not feel that I have to do messy play or sand pit play at home. Cannot fault this nursery.

My Journey with Bright Horizons started through a company acquisition in 2009 and I have been Nursery Manager at RAF Northolt since October 2012. I have a BTEC National diploma in childhood studies and have over 20 years’ experience. My passion for childcare and Early Years started with a year 10 work experience position and has grown over the years of working within the childcare sector in various roles. I enjoy working with people and believe that childcare is one of the most rewarding jobs you can do. Watching the children grow into active learners, where their individuality can shine and their confidence grows. Working with a motivated staff team all striving for the same outcome and learning opportunities for the children in a safe and stimulating environment. I am also passionate about supporting our families on their journey through their child’s early years.
