The staff are lovely, happy and welcoming. They care about the children.
My Child seems very happy and is always smiling and happy at pick-up time.
Facilities are good. I would like the outdoor space to be less "urban" more garden-like and have shelter for very sunny days.

Our experience with the nursery/preschool has been very good so far. We've been with the nursery for a year and a half and although the staff turnover has been high at several points, there has been a few constant members of staff who ensured children are looked after individually and actually cared.
We also felt really supported going through more challenging times (potty training, behavioural changes, etc).

It is a daunting prospect leaving your first nine-month-old baby with strangers. However, all the staff at Raynes Park made the process a lot more bearable. Those in the baby room especially! their cheerful, caring and professional attitudes ensure you have complete faith leaving your child with them.
I have loved seeing my daughter form such strong bonds with the staff and I especially find it comforting getting such detailed feedback at the end of every day! I wish they didn't have to move up from the baby room. Thank you.

My son started at Bright Horizons Raynes Park in February and the nursery has exceeded my expectations. He has a fantastic time and every day I get an update in his book so that I know what he's been up to. They always call if there has been a problem so I don't worry at all during the day. The staff
in the baby room are fantastic, always so lovely and happy. Thank you.

Our son loves nursery, he has lots of fun and loves all the friends he has made and all the staff in his room. He has developed and changed so much in a good way. When he is picked up we are told about his day and how he ate, and it usually takes 10 minutes to leave as he hugs all the staff and his
friends.

We are really happy with the nursery and the preschool, in particular, we are very pleased with the staff and their support and care they have shown towards our child. They were very attentive to him during the transition from nursery to preschool, which was a challenging phase for him.

Staff in the room are very friendly and greet the children on arrival fabulously. Help to get the children settled and parents to leave without distress. I'm always greeted by smiles at the end of the day and my son wants to come even on the day he doesn't attend!

Lovely nursery with dedicated staff and a great programme of play and learning. Feels like a real part of the community. More excursions could be good.

We highly appreciate the teachers who take care of my son. They are very patient, careful and kind to him. They care very much about his emotions and every step of his development. The staff discussed with me about learning some Chinese to help them communicate better with my little one. I really appreciate
their diligence.

My son started 1 day a week before he could even walk. We slowly increased to full time. The staff are so helpful, kind and understanding. He learned how to walk, talk, play and learn moves at this lovely nursery. We are so happy and have already recommended to our friends.

Teddies has been a fantastic foundation for both our children's social and mental development. There is a tremendous care ethos at the nursery which shows in the staff and the children.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with Bright Horizons. We are delighted with the care our one-year-old daughter has received. The staff are so warm, thoughtful and caring and I always look forward to talking to them at the end of the day. It is a very special, fun, safe and loving place and my daughter
is thriving there. I would absolutely recommend this nursery.

The staff at Raynes Park Nursery are both fun and caring. My daughter loves attending and will chant her carers name in the car as we arrive. They are always doing fun activities and I am kept informed with lots of pictures and a daily diary which tells me what she’s eating, how she’s slept and what
activities she has done that day. I fully trust the staff at the nursery with my daughter and feel lucky to have found such a nice environment for my daughter to spend her days.

Both our children have been to Bright Horizons Raynes Park from a young age to starting school. In each room they have been in they have formed excellent bonds with the carers and other children, and most days they run in for a hug without looking back.
The carers do go the extra mile to make the children
feel comfortable and happy.

Our daughter has thrived at Bright Horizons Raynes Park having been in the baby, toddler and pre-school rooms. Staff have been friendly and engaged in her development and we are very happy with the relationships we have built with all the team. Facilities have continued to be maintained and improved
over the years. Always surprised with new activities with the Easter Spring chickens a big hit!
Would not hesitate to recommend to other parents.

My son is happy here.
He started with very poor English.
But he keeps learning new things every day and speaks positively about the nursery nurses in the facility.
It is the best kind of feedback we can get as a parent.
The staff are welcoming and friendly.
They were positive during my son's settling
process which was quite hard for him.

Current Review Score: 7.8 (7.831)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 7.8 (7.831) out of 10 for Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.1 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.750 for Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (9 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 4.75

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.081 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 62 number of registered child places is 12.4. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 12.4 = 0.081

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
