Woodberry Day Nursery is a substantial property, converted to create an 86 place day nursery of the highest quality.

Much of the character has been retained to provide spacious and interesting rooms with first class childcare facilities. The staff are experienced and well qualified ensuring Woodberry is a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual. They have also obtained their Green Flag Eco-Schools Award.

Woodberry has been designed with four main playrooms with additional sleeping and play areas. Outside there is a fully enclosed and attractively laid out garden. The environment gives children the opportunity to both learn and play in secure surroundings.

Woodberry also offer the extracurricular activity of Debutots every 2 weeks on a Monday between 10-11am for the Ladybirds and Bumblebees room. As well as this, they offer the Preschool room Kidslingo every 2 weeks on a Friday between 10- 11am, and a tennis coach who attends every 2 weeks on a Thursday afternoon.

A big thank you to all the team for taking such good care of my boy. He has loved his time at Woodberry and has thrived, arriving at school all prepared and excited for his new chapter. The whole team are brilliant and we will miss them.

Very friendly and warming nursery. The staff in the Caterpillar Room are brilliant. They have looked after my girl for the last year and she has really grown in confidence and she has made many beautiful memories there. All the lunches/meals are cooked fresh every day and they are catered to suit
your child needs. Excellent day care and would highly recommend them. Thank you, Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill).

My little boy loved his time at Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill). He attended the nursery for aged 13 months - 4 years and is now very ready for school with the help from all the staff, all of whom are exceptionally friendly, supportive and caring. I would not hesitate in recommending them to

I'm delighted with my son's development at Woodberry and have huge respect for the team there. The manager provides great leadership and I have total confidence in all the team. My son's dedicated carer I find outstanding due to her professionalism and caring nature. The best compliment I can provide
is that I find all the staff to be lovely, committed and very kind and caring. I love the time my son spends at Woodberry and would like to place on record my thanks to the entire team.

We are delighted with Woodberry nursery both with the excellent care our little girl receives and the administration and information that supports that care. Our little girl loves her time in the nursery and we can see how it helps her development and sociability. Her key minder is fantastic and really

We moved our son to Woodberry from another nursery and are so glad we made the decision. We have constantly been impressed with the staff who are always kind, welcoming and fantastic with the children. The manager and her management team are excellent and have always taken on board and responded to
any feedback straight away. We have been particularly impressed with the preschool room and team there, they have really helped my son develop and have ensured he will be ready when he starts school in September. They are always finding new and fun ways to engage the children. I will shortly be sending my youngest son to the baby room and would recommend the nursery to any parents.

Lovely nursery, amazing staff who are comforting and really engaging with both parents and children. Parents are kept informed well and children are comfortable in their surroundings. Experience in all rooms with 2 daughters. Caring, thoughtful staff. Attentive to the development of children and feedback given to parents. Good activities for children. Both my children love coming to nursery. The nursery management is forthcoming in making improvements. Excellent Christmas Fayre -
this was a new event and much enjoyed by all.

We couldn't be happier with the care that has been provided for our son. The staff are friendly and caring and he adores his keyworker. At present, he has been there for 5 months full time in the Caterpillar room which we have seen him thrive in his physical and mental development. As we are both full
tie working parents, it's fantastic to be able to view and read the daily activities he has been up to on Parents Zone. Thank you to all the staff!

My 2 year old grandson started at Woodberry Nursery and has settled well after some tears at the beginning. He goes for 3 mornings as his parents and myself work. I have been impressed with the staff who work in the 2-3 year old room. They give feedback and reassurance and I feel they show care for
my grandson and all the children. They put out interesting activities and he plays outside every session for some of the morning. Overall, a positive experience.

My son started at Woodberry in April 2016, 2 afternoons a week before going 3 days full time in September 2016 when I went back to work. The acceleration in his speech since then has been fantastic. The staff there are fantastic, especially my son's key worker who he absolutely adores. He is just so
happy there. He plays well, sleeps well, behaves (all the things he is less likely to do at home) and eats well. He is thriving at Woodberry and has become far more outgoing in the last 3 months. He plays better with other children outside of nursery and is well mannered and shows good emotional understanding which is definitely down to the great team at Woodberry. They all enjoy the job which you can see in their eyes.

My daughter has been attending for over 2 years now. We couldn't be happier as parents. The standard of care is very high. Everyone is caring and very interested and involved. My son has been at Woodberry Day Nursery for the past 3 years. Our experience of care has been mixed but on the whole very good. His last year in preschool has been particularly good which we really think has a lot to do with his key carer. She has built a fantastic relationship with both our son and
his parents. She has really brought out all the positives in our sons development, so much more than other key carers in earlier years.

Sean Crowley-Smith

Sean is the manager of Woodberry Day Nursery in Winchmore Hill and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector since 2009. Sean has recently joined Childbase Partnership but has previously been a Senior Room Leader, Early Years Curriculum Lead, Designated Safeguarding Lead and more recently a Deputy Manager.
