Kiddi Caru Leighton Buzzard Day Nursery & Pre-School is in the heart of a small community area on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard. It is in a beautiful house which has recently been extended and completely renovated to create the most amazing environment for children to spend their time.

The nursery has a large staff team, with highly skilled and qualified staff that work closely to provide a home from home environment for the children in their care.

The downstairs rooms have direct access out onto a beautiful large garden area, with a designated under 2s garden for smaller children to explore, the garden has a nature garden with a mud kitchen, bark and grass areas, lots of opportunities for children to explore the great outdoors. Right from the smallest of babies, staff ensure safe and secure attachments are formed in order for children to thrive and develop right up until Pre-School, where the team support with their transition to school.

Both of my children love Head Start. They are happy, settled and learn new things every day. The staff are brilliant and take their time to get to know the children, building lovely bonds which last. They make the process of being apart from my kids as a working mum much easier. I’d highly recommend
Head Start and wouldn’t contemplate putting my children anywhere else

My daughter loves coming to this nursery, she runs in every morning and barely even looks back to say goodbye to me as she is so excited. It’s lovely knowing that she is being left in professional, capable hands while I’m at work. The staff are lovely and very caring. The food menu is delicious and
nourishing. The activities they do are always fun. My daughter comes home happy, full and tired.

Our daughter has been at Headstart for two and a half years and absolutely loves going. The staff are great, the variety of activities is really good and we have been really pleased at how much our daughter has developed there. We have already registered our second child who will be starting next year!

Our daughter loves coming to nursery and gets excited when we pull in to the car park. The staff have all made her feel welcome and comforted her whenever she has needed. She hadn't had much interaction with other children before starting nursery and wasn't great with strangers and so it's lovely to
see her at ease with all the other children and staff.
The nursery were very flexible when we needed an additional session in an emergency and the staff go out of their way to help me get our children up and down the stairs.
I would highly recommend Head Start.

My little one really loves the nursery to the point that he doesn’t want to go back home. The staff are all friendly and know the children's names, even if they are not the assigned person, one way to show their care towards the children. I have seen a massive difference towards learning of my son in
a good way as well. Just want to say kudos and thank you to the staff!

My daughter loves coming here. She’s always happy and adores her key worker. The staff are so welcoming and supportive. Leaving your child to go back to work is terrifying but I’ve always known and felt she is safe and happy at Headstart. Communication has always been brilliant too. If I have another-

We wouldn’t go anywhere else. We felt so welcome from the minute we were shown around. The staff far exceed our expectations, they are incredible and our children adore them. Nothing is too much trouble and the support we’ve been given as a family has been amazing. I am so grateful we chose Head Start,
they feel like an extended family and I’m so pleased with the role they have played in our children’s lives. Thank you.

I have been really impressed with Head Start in the six months of my son attending. The staff are friendly, professional and reassuring both to parents and kids alike! Having been initially worried about how my son would take to it when he started at 12 months old, he now happily trots in without so
much as a second glance. He seems really at ease and happy there which is lovely to see.

I absolutely love this nursery for my three year old daughter and she loves it too. She has been at Headstart for nearly two years now and I chose this nursery even though it is the furthest from where we live three miles away. I have also signed my six month old up for when I go back to work.
I continue
to be impressed by the management staff, key workers and the low staff turnover. For me, this is a prime indicator of a happy and experienced workplace and a quality that was not met by other nurseries in the area.
Even though I am currently on maternity leave, I decided to keep my older daughter at Headstart four days a week as the variety and quality of activities and teaching she receives far outweigh the time and attention I could give her at home.
I would, and have recommended this nursery to others with no hesitation.

Our daughter has attended Headstart since she was 11 months old - now nearly 4. She has made her way through all the rooms at various ages and loved them all. Headstart offers wonderful age-appropriate activities and stimulation, far more than we would at home! She is now in the preschool room and they
are doing an excellent job of preparing her for school in a fun way.
The staff are professional and approachable and she is very fond of them all - she often asks for them at home! Headstart offers a good variety of meals, that our little one enjoys. The manager is excellent and efficient and clearly runs a wonderful team. They can often take our little one for an extra session which is convenient and fantastic. We can’t speak highly enough of Headstart. There is no price you can be on such excellent child care.

I have put two children through this nursery after seeing many other nurseries in the area this is the only one I have found suited my family. Staff listen to concerns and handle matters with absolute discretion. After my child was diagnosed with an allergy, staff were sure to provide food alternatives
and were very thorough with paperwork and ensure to have correct medication before I leave. Staff always have time for you at drop off and collection to tell you about your child’s day. Most of the time my child doesn’t even say goodbye because she is so engrossed in the activities. Overall, I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else.

I send both of my children to Head Start and they have been excellent with them both from the baby hedgehogs through to wise owls.
The staff are all very caring and good at communicating with parents. They keep detailed records of your child’s progress which they will share whenever you request it.
Activities are varied and fun. Meals go down very well!
Overall I’m very pleased with Head Start, I feel that my children are safe, happy and that they are learning loads, in terms of literacy/numeracy and also social and personal awareness.

Head Start has been a fantastic nursery for our family. The staff are kind and approachable and obviously take the time to get to know all the children in their care. My eldest graduated in a gorgeous ceremony last summer which was a joy to be a part of and my youngest is a current student, 3 days per
week. He loves going to nursery and I believe that the care they provide creates important learning opportunities for their little charges. I always recommend Head Start and will continue to do so.

Great place so happy with all so far. My son started attending nursery last year in July and I was so scared and felt terrible to leave him with strangers. All that fear is gone now, my son loves his teachers and the nursery. He is learning so much and so fast! Amazing people, great place for any child.

This is a great nursery. We sent our daughter here in 2011 and had no hesitation in sending our son last year. The staff are friendly and the surroundings are clean with stimulating toys and experiences for little ones. They have a secure outdoor play area with bikes etc and sometimes the children go
on an outing to the garden centre next door. It's open 7.30 - 6pm all year round and it's not too big like some nurseries. It has a homely feel. Staff retention is very good too, which says a lot.
