The nursery and preschool is on Holme Street, which is just off the A6 and near the Bedford College and has allocated parking right outside the nursery for easy drop-offs and collection of children aged from birth to preschool age.

They are committed to supporting all children’s care and development through offering a wide range of learning experiences and high quality resources for babies to preschool age. The nursery's flexible childcare solutions include half days and full days, as well as up to 22 hours a week funding all year round once your child reaches the relevant age.

My child has grown in confidence since joining Kiddi Caru. The staff and nursery have catered to his needs and been supportive throughout his time there. Their communication about my child's development is fantastic. The staff are a credit to the nursery, and I can't thank them enough for everything
they have done. I would recommend Kiddi Caru to any parent.

My son attended the nursery for 3 years and I am really happy that I chose Kiddi Caru. I have 2 older boys, who attended different settings and this one is really good. I had my child for 10 hours a day, which is quite a large amount of time. Staff are amazing, knowledgeable and helpful, creative, caring
and full of ideas. Place itself is fantastic, big rooms, not by the main road, lots of toys changed regularly, various themes and celebrations. Garden is very well organised with plenty of things to do surrounded by greenery. Road to ride on the trikes, gazebo of outdoor toys, mud kitchen and many more. Nursery has on side chef who cooks amazing food for the children- fresh, healthy, which children eat. 5 star place! I would send another child there if I had that option and I recommend it for my friends.

I’m a first-time mum and my daughter started settling-in sessions in November 2023.
She attended 10 settling-in sessions before starting full-time in January 2024.
I was really nervous leaving my daughter at nursery at first but I can honestly say that it’s the best thing for her. The staff are very
friendly and caring and my daughter has developed so much since starting.
Parents have access to an app that is updated constantly throughout the day so we are aware of what our children are doing which is great.
I highly recommend this nursery.

The experience at this nursery so far has been excellent. Everyone is really caring and helpful. During pick-ups, they give a summary of what my son has been up to and it's quite useful to start a conversation with my son about his day. My son started from Koala and is now in Kangaroo and our experience
has been good. The app is good too.

I highly recommend Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, one member of staff and her team are always available and very approachable when I've needed help at short notice and had questions regarding fees and funding. The communication between parents and the staff is great, the use of their app makes it so easy.
Our daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at nursery and we feel she is safe, happy and offered many opportunities to learn and play. She eats well there and is always offered a snack for the journey home which is something I've not experienced when my son attended a different nursery a few years ago. The garden is a firm favourite and upon visiting, I noted it is very well kitted out with play areas, cubby holes and protection from the sun, as well as being kept clean and in good order. Since gaining their outstanding Ofsted status, their standards have remained high and the team all seem very happy to be working there.

My daughter started her settling sessions in October 2023. She had ten settling sessions, which was amazing as she really needed them.
She gets upset every time I drop her off still, but I soon get a message on the app ensuring me that she is fine and having fun. And when I collect her, she tells
me how much she likes nursery and wants to go back.
Staff are so helpful and put my mind at ease. The app is good for communication. I get to see what she has or hasn’t eaten, how often she went to the toilet, etc.
We get regular updates and pictures of what she has learnt for the week.
I’m so glad I picked her to attend Kiddi Caru.

My 10-month-old son attends the nursery and as a first-time mum going back to work, I was rather anxious about the settling-in process. Kiddi Caru were wonderful in putting me at ease, took the time to find out what my son likes and his normal routine at home so that they could replicate it at the setting.
My son has settled in extremely well and is smiling and happy when he comes out. The food is amazing, I think that might be my son's favourite part! They offer events that parents/grandparents can attend which are spread fairly so everyone benefits from this. The facilities are good and are constantly improved such as a new floor and a new car track for the babies' room.

Really great nursery. Staff are passionate about the children and the nursery, so friendly and knowledgeable. A great in-house chef who is also very enthusiastic about the food served.
One of the few nurseries which provided one day a week nursery, they are so good we are upping it to two days.
Quick
response to any questions! They really understand both parents and the child’s needs.
My daughter eats and naps there wonderfully. Which I was really nervous about!
Lovely events they hold, for example, Santa Grotto and grandparents appreciation days. Great little touches to help you feel involved.
Always informed of any incidents, new staff, events, etc.
Spoken to many other parents about how fantastic this nursery is.

Our child started nursery in January but before starting she had a number of settle-in sessions which I feel has really supported in a smooth transition to nursery. We have found all of the staff to be friendly and welcoming, they are very responsive and you gain a great deal of insight into the little
ones' day through the app. The activities that are planned and reported to you each week have the right balance of fun and educational, often focusing on a wide range of cultural topics. There is also a lovely sense of community with open days, home learning packs and a family food bank. We are very happy to have chosen this nursery and it has been lovely to witness how much our child has grown and learnt since attending.

I wish we put my child into this nursery sooner. It is always a daunting task trying to decide what is best, but this was the best decision we have made. The improvement in confidence, communication and the support that is provided is amazing. We couldn't ask for more. The updates on the app and the
early years education plan and observations bring an extra level of confidence in the nursery to help my child grow and experience new things.

Super nursery. Both my children have always been really happy here and even when my children are having a bad morning the staff are very kind and will always reassure my child. My daughter has been attending since September 2023. The nursery is great and provides great updates and one-to-one time. I am so happy with the care provided by Kiddi Caru Bedford. My daughter has developed so much since joining Kiddi Caru and is very eager to attend each day. She talks about the staff with warmth, and she likes all of her teachers and the chef too. One lady has been my daughter’s key person for more
than a year; she regularly does observations for her and sends videos and photos to me to update me on my daughter’s learning progress at nursery, which has really helped me have a better understanding of my daughter's activities at school and what my daughter is doing in the nursery! The other teachers also reported my daughter's daily performance and activities in the nursery to me every day after school, which made me feel at ease! The management team are also very helpful; they always try to help in every way they can. Overall, we are happy with the nursery!

Bedford Kiddi Karu has really blown away our expectations of childcare. It's like a home away from home for the two days a week our daughter goes. She loves them, and I have complete faith in handing her over, knowing she always has the best day. When she was younger, she would kick her little legs
when she saw the nursery. Now she's older, she goes straight in; you can just tell she's happy there. They always do so much with her, and they have definitely contributed to so many skills she has learnt. I couldn't recommend or thank them enough.

We are really pleased that our son is starting his nursery in Kiddi Caru, we could see the changes in his daily life, he is really confident to meet his peer group or other people. He is exploring more after attending nursery and becoming socially independent. He is also exploring different foods and
getting better in eating different foods. His communication is really great according to his age. We as parents are really privileged that our son is part of Kiddi Caru. A really positive experience. Staff are super lovely and accommodating, and I feel comfortable and confident leaving my child in their care. This nursery is super thoughtful from a community, eco-friendly and inclusive perspective, which I love. My child has lots of fun when at daycare and participates
in a variety of activities. They also provide progress reports on the development of the child, which I find super helpful as it lets me know the type of activities and learning going on in the nursery. The only minor thing I wish was a little better was more regular picture updates of my child day to day. I strongly recommend this setting.

We are so delighted with the care provided by Kiddi Caru Bedford. Our daughter has thrived whilst attending and runs in every morning. They have made a daunting and stressful time easier with their support and regular contact/updates.
The events they run are amazing and I don’t know of another nursery
locally that offers these opportunities to see your child in the setting.
