The team at Busy Bees Biggleswade Saxon Centre would like to welcome you to their fabulous, purpose-built nursery. Their experienced and passionate early years educators are delighted to care and educate children aged from 12 weeks up to the age of 5 years.

The nursery boasts six outstanding environments leading on to exciting outdoor environments, enabling the children to free flow from one environment to another, promoting independence. In addition, there is an allotment to nurture, grow and explore a stimulating environment to gain skills for later life.

The baby room has a lovely home from home feel with dedicated staff who will work alongside you to follow daily routines. There is a lot of sensory play and rhyme time plus lots of praise and reassurance.

Busy Bees has a professional chef who freshly prepares meals from NHS accredited menus for under 5’s in their state of the art kitchen. The nursery has been awarded a 5* food hygiene rating.

Staff are so welcoming and friendly towards my child. They have helped her to settle in really well. My child loves the activities and has developed so well in such a short time. The staff have been amazing with my child's dietary needs. I am so happy with the care provided.

I am very pleased with the nursery. My son attends preschool and is making leaps and bounds in his confidence and learning. The care at the nursery is excellent, all staff members are friendly and caring, including the managers, and get to know the children very well. The key person regularly talks
to us about our son's development. The quality of the environment is excellent, with exciting and challenging activities every day. My son has learnt all about space and can tell you about the solar system, the planets and that the sun is a star! There is ample outside space for the children and they are able to choose if they want to be inside or outside. My son has become very independent with the support of the staff and can dress himself, serve himself at dinner and is happy and content.

Fantastic place to bring children, our son has developed so much and the staff are warm and friendly.
They've kept us informed of how our son is developing. The staff at this childcare do really love the children.
They don't mind if you call up to check on your little person.
The staff have been
amazing with looking after our son, there is no shortage of kisses and cuddles. The difficult decision of having to go back to work was made easier by the committed staff.

I have recently become the Manager of the setting. Before I started I had fantastic settling in sessions which allowed me to have some time with my children and their new key person. I felt very welcome and at ease. My session was not rushed and I felt I had time to get to know the fantastic practitioners
that I was leaving my children with. Both of my children settled in very quickly. Of course they were a little unsettled at first, but after the first week this improved dramatically and I cannot get my eldest child of 33 months to leave in the evening which shows he is extremely happy and stimulated within the nursery environment.


I feel the nursery is the right place for my children. There is lots of space inside and outside for the children to explore, the staff are enthusiastic and plan activities that support my children's learning well, based upon their interests. The food always looks appetising and my older child enjoys being independent and serving themselves.

The care for my son is outstanding. He settling very quickly and loves his key workers in the babies room.
Always given bottles at the right time, sleep limits adhered to. An outside area specifically for babies would be nice.

This is an excellent nursery. We have since moved to another part of the country for work reasons, but our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time at Treetops and misses the wonderful carers who put so much time, energy and enthusiasm into looking after her in the Bear Cubs and Little Monkeys rooms. The
staff are wonderful and always make time to welcome the children on arrival and give them a cuddle even if they are busy with other children at the time. There are lots of different activities, and they do really clever things like visit pet shops or other places so that the children get some variety during the day. The facilities are excellent and have recently been refurbished. This was the first nursery we ever used so we didn't quite know how lucky we were at the time - but having moved on, we can only wish everywhere was such fabulous value!

The girls in my daughters room are very calm and friendly and show genuine love for children in their care. Despite my daughter being fairly new she is happy to part in the morning with her new key carer.
I can go to work knowing that my 'baby' is being well cared for and loved. The provide special
days regularly, the latest being hot chocolate and cookies on the go for morning rush! Yummy!

My son is extremely happy at his nursery. There is a large garden where he spends his time playing and exploring. His day is varied and he always looks forward to going, he has a lovely team of carers who work hard with him to bring his speech along. I work full time and he attends full time too. I
go to work knowing he is well cared for and is having a great day. The food is excellent and he is always talking about his food and how he helped lay the table etc. Overall it is an excellent facility and I will be sad when he leaves.

Hello, my name is Laura, I am the Centre Director of Saxon Centre Busy Bees, I have many years of experience working from the Babies to Foundation class. I have been at Saxon since I started as an apprentice and have worked myself up to become the Centre Director. I support the team in multiple ways and I am a very fundamental part of the team.
