A BRIGHT AND HOMELY NURSERY IN BRACKNELL

Forest Park nursery in the Southeast of Bracknell offers a warm and welcoming environment, designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Each of the three carefully designed rooms are vibrant and enriching, with sensory toys and exciting environments for each age range. The Little Explorers room is for babies, with a wide, open plan room and lots of sensory toys. There’s also a slide and ball pit to help children to develop and grow.

The Adventures room is for toddlers and younger preschoolers. They have a range of construction toys for building and creating, a role-play area for imaginative play, and a quiet area for reading, songs and puppets to help develop speech and language.

Preschool Seniors is the Ready for School room where they learn and develop ready to transition to primary school. The children develop their independence, friendships, self-care and communication. They have a wonderful free flow with a variety of resources that help them develop and thrive. The unique Growing Enhancement programme aimed at preschoolers encourages children’s natural curiosity to learn.

Outdoors, there is a lovely garden area with plenty of space to explore and enjoy creative pursuits whilst enjoying nature. They take the children on walks the local park, where the children watch the abundance of wildlife.

In the local community, they have formed inter-generational relationships with Age Concern day centre. This provides opportunities from young and old to learn from one another and build a stronger community together.

Our daughter started nursery last February and quickly settled in. Always looking forward to meeting her friends and teachers. She's learned so much and as a 2.5-year-old child, she can dress and undress herself which is wow, I'm so proud of her and thankful to the staff for looking after her and teaching
her. Five stars for the nursery. Soon we are sending our son there.

Since my son has started in September 2024, he has made so much progress. The range of vocabulary and increased independence is clearly apparent. All the staff are incredibly friendly, supportive and great with the children. The communication is super. Most of all my son is happy!

Great daycare. Both my kids go here. Both started around 4-5 months old. The service and care provided by all staff is amazing. They both always come back smiling and laughing.
You can really see the development in them. We are always kept informed and up to date on how they are both progressing.
Would
highly recommend to parents looking to send their kids to a nursery/preschool.

My son was at Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool before moving on to reception; he thrived from the environment that was facilitated by the manager and her staff. My daughter was also at the same nursery, initially, she struggled to settle but she was met by smiling and
comforting faces who have helped her settle and build up her confidence, she had a key worker who played a pivotal role settling her in, my daughter has since moved rooms and it was a smooth transition as she was also welcomed by nursery teachers who have continued to offer the supports she needs and promote independence.
Before Bright Horizons it was difficult to find a nursery where the children fitted in. But thank you to all the staff at Bright Horizons Bracknell for all the help and support and creating such a wonderful, safe space for my children to learn and develop.

Staff are friendly, many activities which my child enjoys. Lots of updates in the app show me what my child is doing and pictures showing what activities they get up too.
They also invite parents and children to activities outside of hours like going to the park on the weekend which was very nice.

My child has recently started at Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool and I can't recommend them enough, from his settles to him actually starting, the communication from the team was amazing. He has settled in so well and they really promote the home-from-home feel, the staff
in the baby room have been exceptional at ensuring he is safe, loved and well cared for and we can't ask for anything more as parents. Five-star.

My little one really enjoys Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool, the team there are so lovely and friendly but very professional too. The updates we receive are fantastic, I love seeing the pictures they put on the app and the progression that is tracked for my daughter.
The management is so helpful and accommodating when you need anything and couldn't recommend it enough!

The nursery staff are professional and respond in a polite and friendly manner during all interactions.
Lots of activities take place and updates given to parents on a regular basis.
Management is friendly and has offered great support with the recent change of free childcare hours.
I highly recommend

My daughter has now been at this nursery for three years and it's been fantastic for her development and confidence.
All the staff are so friendly and great with the kids. Their communication is great. Highly recommend this nursery.

Since viewing this nursery and meeting the staff in March, I have been filled with such confidence that my son would be well looked after here. He absolutely loves being at Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool and always comes out in a really happy mood when I pick him up.
The staff at the nursery are honestly the kindest people and know exactly what they are doing, they are always happy to help and are really approachable. I can already see a great improvement within my son's speech/behaviour and his general personality since being at the nursery. He also eats a lot better and is happy to explore new foods due to the large variety that the nursery offers for snacks and meals. Overall, I am really happy with the services and staff here.

My son began attending the nursery when he was 6 months old. I cannot fault the nursery, the team are amazing and supported his settling in so well. He loves going every day and the updates we get are lovely to see throughout the day.
The nursery is smaller than most in the area however this works
better for us, as a family, as it gives a more personal feel. The staff in his room are all so caring and genuinely interested in us, as a family. The manager and deputy were so helpful when organising the settling-in period and you can see how much they care for the nursery and children.

Our daughter started at 10 months old and settled in quickly, after a few weeks of tearful drop-offs. Now she is fully settled in, she absolutely loves it. She has great relationships with all of the team, she has learnt so much and is so happy there. I get photo updates unless she’s asleep during the
activities, and updates on her eating and naps in real time. The team are so caring and it’s great to see my daughter feeling so confident and comfortable with them all.

We love Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool.
When our eldest finished, we looked around again for our second, only to come straight back to Forest Park! The team in my child's room are passionate, happy, and cares about the children a great deal. The food is healthy and
delicious, the space is more than enough.
My little one adores going to nursery here. We have 100% faith that she is safe, happy and having a great time learning!

Our son has been at Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool for 3 years. We cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff are caring, and compassionate and take a genuine interest in each child. They are attachment focused, building relationships in order understand each child
so they can best support them to grow and develop. They continually communicate with us and followed our lead when it came to weaning, naps, toilet training etc. Our son loves going and has developed not only in his knowledge and skills, also socially and emotionally. We are sad he is leaving and know that Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool havve prepared him for the challenges of big school. We are excited for our second child to begin with forest park as we believe there is no better place.

My Name is Nicole and I joined Bright Horizons Forest Park in January 2022. I have been in the childcare industry for 12 years with 4 years of managerial experience.


My experience ranges from all ages from birth through to teens, I have worked my way from an apprentice when I left school right the way through to a Nursery Manager.


I have an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce, I also hold an NVQ Level 2 in Children’s Mental Health, NVQ Level 2 In managing challenging behaviour along with experience as a Nursery SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead.


I am always looking to further my training and knowledge to ensure I am the best role model for the staff and children.


Providing high-quality childcare within a safe and secure environment is at the heart of everything I do and I am very excited to join the Bright Horizon Family team.

My name is Clair and I am Deputy Manager here at Bright Horizons Forest Park. I started here in 2013 and have worked my way from Preschool room leader to Third in Charge and now Deputy Manager.


I have been working in childcare for over 20 years, I am the nursery SENCO and I am passionate about providing the best opportunities for all children. I pride myself on our strong parent partnership relationships and love to get the parents involved in our events and their children's learning.
