A BRIGHT AND HOMELY NURSERY IN BRACKNELL

Forest Park nursery in the Southeast of Bracknell offers a warm and welcoming environment, designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Each of the three carefully designed rooms are vibrant and enriching, with sensory toys and exciting environments for each age range. The Little Explorers room is for babies, with a wide, open plan room and lots of sensory toys. There’s also a slide and ball pit to help children to develop and grow.

The Adventures room is for toddlers and younger preschoolers. They have a range of construction toys for building and creating, a role-play area for imaginative play, and a quiet area for reading, songs and puppets to help develop speech and language.

Preschool Seniors is the Ready for School room where they learn and develop ready to transition to primary school. The children develop their independence, friendships, self-care and communication. They have a wonderful free flow with a variety of resources that help them develop and thrive. The unique Growing Enhancement programme aimed at preschoolers encourages children’s natural curiosity to learn.

Outdoors, there is a lovely garden area with plenty of space to explore and enjoy creative pursuits whilst enjoying nature. They take the children on walks the local park, where the children watch the abundance of wildlife.

In the local community, they have formed inter-generational relationships with Age Concern day centre. This provides opportunities from young and old to learn from one another and build a stronger community together.

My daughter has only been attending Bright Horizons Forest Park for around 5 months and she has come on massively. The activities provided are amazing. The staff are so professional and caring over her and it really shows. She is more than happy to leave me each morning when dropping her off. The staff
take the time to learn about your child, likes and dislikes and are always happy to share what she has done through the day. The app provided also allows me to track what she has taken, how much and how well she has slept.
Management really take the time to listen to you if you have any issues and any accidents that may happen are reported to you instantly.

Practitioners are brilliant and show a genuine interest and care in helping your child however management is shocking. They gave my details to a third party without my agreement, senior management refused to provide me with the paperwork I’m legally entitled to for a period of time. They had medical
concerns about my son but decided not to tell me about one and refused to assist with a diagnosis referral for another, the list goes on. Providing you have a neurotypical child and/or one that doesn’t go through multiple major life changes in a short time span with no need for management assistance, I’d recommend this setting for the practitioners alone. Other than that, avoid this setting.

When my son started in June 2023 at 14 months, I had not left him with anyone before but we were given a warm welcome and felt at ease from the start. I was worried about using a chain nursery as I thought it would be impersonal, but it isn't at all. It has a small nursery feel and it's easy to get
hold of the team directly.
My son has quickly built a bond with the staff who are all very caring. He is always in a lovely mood after nursery, running around babbling about his day!
The location of the nursery is convenient, plenty of parking and easy walking routes if you live nearby. There's a playground up the road and Savernake Park only a few minutes walk. Crown Wood primary school is also very close by.

We have had a fantastic experience at Bright Horizons, Forest Park since our child started there in 2023. The staff are friendly and attentive and have really helped our little one settle. The activities and care provided to children are fantastic and communication is great too.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for a few months now and I'm already really impressed. One staff member in particular and the ladies in adventurers really take the time to understand my daughter's needs and give clear feedback each week about what she's done and what they plan to do next
week. The nursery has a really personal feel and I couldn't be happier with it so far.

My son started nursery in January 2023 and he now loves going in every day to see the staff who he talks about in the car on the way. Their friendly and caring nature has really helped him settle in. He's always so happy when we pick him up and talks about what he's done that day. We are so happy he
is coming out of his shell.

I want to send you our appreciation to all the staff and I start by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do and for how you took care of Iris from the first day of nursery.
I see my little girl so happy with you in every day until she no longer wants to go home in the evening.
So, what can I understand from this except that you do some extraordinary things with the children and they feel loved besides all the activities that help them develop every day. Being my first child, I was very anxious when she started nursery and about to return to work, but you helped her to settle in very quickly. I could see many hugs and cuddles that you offered her which made me get rid of this anxiety and trust that my little girl is in good hands. Now, after seven months since she started in nursery at Bright Horizons and I see how happy she is, I can only reconfirm how wonderful the whole staff are. I can't thank you enough for everything you do for my daughter.

Our 3 year old has only been going to nursery for a couple of months but in that time we have seen such a change. The work that the staff have put into making her feel comfortable and settled has helped so much. Her key person has been so supportive and kind which has meant we are seeing our shy little
girl turn into someone so much more outgoing and excited to go to nursery. As parents, it's always a worry exposing them to new experiences but this has been such a wonderful and reassuring experience!

My childs experience has been very good even after changing rooms. He got a new key worker who was up to her game. She will give him hugs every time he enters the room and welcome him. The Staff are also polite at all times. My child is enjoying himself all the time and he has been attending this nursery
since he was 1 year old and he is now 3 years old. I definitely recommend this nursery to anyone. Kind regards

Both of our children have attended this nursery and we have been really happy with the care they have received. The staff have built great relationships with our son and do lots of lovely and engaging activities with him. We are regularly kept up to date with his progress. The rooms are clean and well-organised.
We would definitely recommend the nursery.

Bright Horizons, Forest Park have been amazing. My son started there in June and has settled in really well, although he cries sometimes at drop-off, he is so happy when we pick him up and has developed socially, really well. The communication is great at drop-off and pick-up. We love the app as well
so we can check on him throughout the day and see how he is developing. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing nursery. My little boy has flourished in the year he has been there. The staff are fantastic and caring. My little boy really enjoys going and all the activities. His speech is incredible thanks to the team. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the food must be good as my little one
eats so much of it. (Unfortunately not so good at eating at home) so seeing he has most of the time eaten all his food fills me with confidence. The team are amazing at giving updates each day on what my little one has been up to. Will definitely look to send my 2nd born here too when I feel ready to send him to nursery.

Honestly, I can’t praise Forest Park Bright Horizons, enough. My 17-month-old has excelled in socialising, basic and complex skills and it’s all down to the staff. My son went through this nursery so I have always know how good they are. After moving we decided to send our daughter to a different nursery, we soon change to Bright Horizons and my daughter is much happier for it. Extremely attentive nursery, staff care a lot about the children's development and
also ensuring parents concerns are handled appropriately. I cannot recommend the nursery enough. Our little one is always running out of the end of the day happy and inspired.

The staff at Forest Park are exceptional. They treat every child individually and not as a homogenous group. My son was there from 12 months to nearly 5 years and we were always satisfied with his care and the support and communication we received from staff. They ensured he was prepared for school

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My Name is Nicole and I joined Bright Horizons Forest Park in January 2022. I have been in the childcare industry for 12 years with 4 years of managerial experience.

My experience ranges from all ages from birth through to teens, I have worked my way from an apprentice when I left school right the way through to a Nursery Manager.

I have an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce, I also hold an NVQ Level 2 in Children’s Mental Health, NVQ Level 2 In managing challenging behaviour along with experience as a Nursery SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead.

I am always looking to further my training and knowledge to ensure I am the best role model for the staff and children.
