A BRIGHT AND HOMELY NURSERY IN BRACKNELL

Forest Park nursery in the Southeast of Bracknell offers a warm and welcoming environment, designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Each of the three carefully designed rooms are vibrant and enriching, with sensory toys and exciting environments for each age range. The Little Explorers room is for babies, with a wide, open plan room and lots of sensory toys. There’s also a slide and ball pit to help children to develop and grow.

The Adventures room is for toddlers and younger preschoolers. They have a range of construction toys for building and creating, a role-play area for imaginative play, and a quiet area for reading, songs and puppets to help develop speech and language.

Preschool Seniors is the Ready for School room where they learn and develop ready to transition to primary school. The children develop their independence, friendships, self-care and communication. They have a wonderful free flow with a variety of resources that help them develop and thrive. The unique Growing Enhancement programme aimed at preschoolers encourages children’s natural curiosity to learn.

Outdoors, there is a lovely garden area with plenty of space to explore and enjoy creative pursuits whilst enjoying nature. They take the children on walks the local park, where the children watch the abundance of wildlife.

In the local community, they have formed inter-generational relationships with Age Concern day centre. This provides opportunities from young and old to learn from one another and build a stronger community together.

The staff, including management, are very helpful and accommodating. Everything possible was done for our son to settle in and feel comfortable. Actually the main reason for chosing this nursery was the staff. Very happy with the care and attention provided.
Food is varied and we are very happy with
what is offered daily.
The rooms can use a refurb, but clean and bright, with enough space and stimulation for the kids. They do the best they can with the outside space provided, limited as it is.

My daughter has attended nursery here since November last year. The staff in the baby room have worked hard to get her settled into nursery life and she has grown so much from not wanting to be left to running into nursery which makes going to work so much easier for her mum and I. It makes me so happy
to see that she has had a lovely day at nursery and she is even starting to talk about her favourite friends and staff. She gets very excited at home when we talk about the music session that runs in the nursery too, called heart beeps. I recommend the nursery to all my friends and family.

My son has attended the nursery since he was 11 months old and is now in his last year in preschool before starting school.


He has loved his time at Teddies and the staff are very caring and he looks forward to going in.

Teddies Nursery is a brilliant nursery. Our little boy has been attending since 'Little Learners' and is now in Pre-School. He loves it. The codes of practice are routinely reinforced and communicated, I feel that my child is in a fun, safe and structured environment. The team is exceptional, always
friendly and approachable and will always provide honest feedback on a child's progress. The classrooms are clean and tidy and kept to a high standard. The meals are also of a high standard and remain varied.

Our son has attended the nursery since November 2014. The staff are so accommodating of all of our needs. Being a military family means we really wanted to create some stability in our son's life and Teddies have gone that extra mile in supporting the many deployments we have been through with such
an understanding. The staff are very reassuring, engaging and the development we have seen since our son has joined the nursery is incredible and will certainly give him a great start to his school transition in the future. The variety of food options available are healthy and I really like how they make the menu's seasonal. There are a number of other activities which have been enjoyed too. For example stretch and grow, and the librarian reading stories. I would have no hesitation in recommending Teddies nursery to family and friends.

We send our son to Teddies and it was the best decision we made regarding childcare. We were apprehensive about sending him at such a young age, but the staff made so much effort to reassure us and allowed a generous amount of time for settling in.
My son is very content there and I can go to work
knowing he is well looked after.
I really don't think my return to work would have been as easy without such a strong team at Teddies.

I love the staff and my eight month old daughter has been here for six weeks and loves it! She is always so happy there even when unwell and I really like their routine and communication. I love the menus they provide her with and am really impressed as to how they follow my routine as best as they
can.

My baby has attended the nursery since November 2016. The staff have been so welcoming and accommodating of both mine and my babies needs. I have felt reassured by them making leaving my baby with them much easier. The baby room manager has such a way with the babies meaning my baby has taken to her
straight away. I have been happy with the variety of food options available for my child also as we are still in the weaning stage it has been very helpful to have lots of healthy choices for them. I was also happy to find out that each week the babies have 'hartbeeps' attend and carry out a music and sensory session with the babies as this is something my child really enjoys :) I would definitely recommend Teddies nursery to family and friends.

My Name is Nicole and I joined Bright Horizons Forest Park in January 2022. I have been in the childcare industry for 12 years with 4 years of managerial experience.

My experience ranges from all ages from birth through to teens, I have worked my way from an apprentice when I left school right the way through to a Nursery Manager.

I have an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce, I also hold an NVQ Level 2 in Children’s Mental Health, NVQ Level 2 In managing challenging behaviour along with experience as a Nursery SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead.

I am always looking to further my training and knowledge to ensure I am the best role model for the staff and children.
