The nursery has always been very welcoming, the staff are always happy, friendly and approachable. They have provided advice and support during my child's development and I have never been concerned about leaving my child in their capable hands. The extended hours have been invaluable and the management
have been amazing in accommodating us as shift workers and flexibility of days. My child always says he has had a "good day!"

We are happy with this Nursery. They have helped us a lot in settling our daughter there as it was very difficult initially for us as well as our daughter. Specially we would like to thank her key worker for being so friendly with our child. The other staff are also very nice & friendly.
My daughter
was a fussy eater, and the staff helped her while eating also.
Good learning experience for our daughter !

Both my Daughters came to Northumberland for 4 1/2 years. They had a great bond with all of the staff and gained a lot of experience to help them get ready for school. The nursery is very welcoming and tidy. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are all bright and colourful.
Both my children enjoyed French lesson with Madame and also experience outdoor learning with the outdoor teacher.

Erin has worked for the Complete Childcare group since 2016, starting as a nursery assistant, gaining her qualifications and working her way up to a management position. She joined Northumberland Day Nursery as manager in 2024, not long after winning the World's Strongest Adaptive Woman award! Melissa Edwards

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 1998

Melissa has been part of the Northumberland family for more than 22 years; she was previously room leader for the Nest (under 2s) and currently works in the preschool room. She loves getting the children ready to join school and helping them grow their confidence. Melissa is key to supporting the unqualified staff with their training and enjoys helping them progress within the nursery.
