Our daughter joined the Wigwam family when she was 1 year and 6 months old. She had just moved to the UK from India and everything looked different to her then - the people, language, the food and the place. Wigwam did a sterling job of helping her settle into the new environment. She is three and a
half today and she loves her carers and friends at Wigwam - they have guided and trained her to navigate her way through a community setting. They also do week-long projects that lets the kids play with the idea long enough to get a feel for it. The 7-7 open hours also helps us parents not worry too much about that odd occasion when we might be stuck in traffic and not make it by 6. Overall, would definitely recommend Wigwam to friends.

Wigan nursery is the best place one can send their children to. My little one is so happy and energetic in the morning to go to nursery that sometimes she even asks if she can go to nursery on weekends or sometimes does not want to go home.
Lovely food, lovely and caring key workers. One can rest
assured that at Wigwam, the children will have an overall development and get ready for the school.
I would highly recommend the nursery and would like to thank the entire team for being there for my child.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for 2.5 years and loves going to the nursery (she never wants to leave when I pick her up) Her development has excelled through the activities, play and the interactions the nursery provides. Activities range from trips to the library/ on the bus/ fire station/,
French lessons, dance lessons, cooking lessons, messy play, intergenerational project, painting, garden play and many more! The staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. The nursery has played a huge part in my daughter's life and I'm glad that she had the pleasure of attending such a wonderful nursery as this one.

We have been overall very happy with the care our child has received at the Wigwam Day Nursery since joining in Sep 2017. She has bonded very well with some of the staff, both in the "turtles" (0-2yo) and in the "squirrels" (2-3yo). She has thrived at the nursery, with her English language skills improving
considerably (we speak a second language at home), as well as her capacity to interact with other kids. We found the frequent staff turnover disruptive, although our daughter did not seem to suffer too much.


Food is good but we did not agree with offering young children dessert every day at lunchtime. However, we eventually had to accept it as our child wasn't happy with a menu different from everyone else.


Apart from a few occasional tears at drop off, our daughter has always been very happy to attend the Wigwam. This to us is the most important thing and we would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

Both my children attend The Wigwam Day Nursery. The staff are attentive, creative and have such a positive impact on the children. It’s a home away from home. My eldest is in Deers and they really make sure that he is school ready, with clever learning through play. My youngest is in turtles and has
had a few health issues. The Wigwam Day Nursery has been so supportive with this to try to ensure he thrives. They also put in so much effort to ensure they settle in nursery well.


All the children are always having fun, learning through play and are so confident in communicating with their peers and adults. I think The Wigwam Day Nursery helps them to be well-rounded children. I certainly don’t worry about them when they are there and enjoy hearing their stories from the day on the way home.

A home away from home for my child. The staff is always open to feedback and the suggestions are implemented. They are sensitive to the needs of children. The children learn through play way. Exciting activities are planned from time to time for the kids to enjoy.

The staff at the Wigwam show a great work ethic and pride in their work. The consistency is good, and stable for the children.
My daughter has really developed greatly at The Wigwam. I am impressed that especially in the Deers class, they engage the children in different learning activities eg phonics,
number skills, French language, dance, projects etc
In the summertime, they learnt about the life cycle of a chicken as it developed from an egg into a chick. Recently the Deers team took part in fundraising for SCBU at the local hospital by selling a recipe book which they beautifully designed themselves, packed with recipes of healthy snacks and treats which they prepared over time.
They have many other planned activities throughout the year eg, bonnet parades, sports days, and many other fun activities and outings.
Meals are carefully planned by a chef on site, freshly prepared, healthy and fun for the children.


In my opinion, this is an outstanding nursery, well done!

The staff at the nursery are extremely friendly and this has helped our daughter settle in. She now gets excited to come to nursery and enjoys the activities. Since attending she has really developed in her counting and speech and we are looking forward to her progressing in the nursery moving forward.

My daughter joined the nursery in June and she found new friends and a new family in Wigwam.
Since my daughter joined Wigwam, she started to be a lot happier and talkative at home.
She is very happy and playful. She is getting plenty of attention and we think we made the right choice to move her to
Wigwam. The team behind the nursery is great and we feel so much relaxed at work knowing that my daughter is in good hands.
I can't recommend them enough.

Wigwam Nursery is truly amazing. My child has benefitted so much from interacting with other children and learning from the staff and objects around her. She only attends two days a week but it really does bring her so much joy. She is beaming when I collect her and she’s made so many friends after
only being there since July. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their time and effort with supporting my child. Special shout out to the Tiny Turtles Team. A lovely gem of a nursery that I cannot praise enough.

My son really enjoys going to nursery and settled very quickly. This was helped by the staff who generally care for the children and the homely atmosphere there.

Our daughter has been attending Wigwam for almost 12 months now. We took a lot of time and did a lot of investigation before selecting a nursery for our child and we feel we have made a great choice. Our daughter attends for 3 long days each week and the activities for the children are wide-ranging,
varied and the nursery also uses external resources for some play e.g. a regular sing/dance session which our daughter loves. The menu is diverse and the quality of the food is excellent - it is very rare that our child does not eat most/all of her food. Most importantly the staff are generally excellent. They are both friendly and easily approachable and they show a genuine interest in the well-being and development of our daughter. There are lots of opportunity for an informal catch-up and more formal feedback is provided on a circa 3 monthly basis. It's hard to overstate what a great nursery this is - would thoroughly recommend!

I have nothing but good things to say about The Wigwam Day Nursery. The atmosphere is homey and the all the members of the staff are really empathetic which were my absolute priorities when I had to choose a nursery for my one year old. I can easily tell that most of the staff genuinely love spending
time with the children and is very patient and caring with them. My son adjusted really quickly and I have already recommended the nursery to a few friends.

Initially, I chose this nursery because it offered day care till 7 pm which was very convenient with my work hours. I am very happy with this decision as they have taken good care of my son and groomed him to be a confident child which is surely going to help him when he starts his school soon.
My
son started with this nursery when he was 2.5 years old and till then he had not started with his speech. But within a few months, we could notice his vocabulary has increased as well as his speech was improving day by day. They even gave a helping hand in toilet training. Also, they have nurtured my kid with good manners like to say sorry, thank you and please whenever appropriate.
My son enjoyed the French classes and dance classes offered by them a lot. They are very strict with the rules related to sickness so that other kids are not affected.
Also, I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful. I am so thankful to them for their support and all they have done for my son.

My little one started the nursery two weeks ago. We were really concerned and worried about how she would settle - but have seen an extremely positive response in her. She enjoys being there and has a great time. She has started building her self-confidence and is able to handle herself independently.


The staff are so caring and lively. I am sure she will learn new things and reach her milestones with all their support and care.

My son has been at Wigwam for only a month, but the change in his development has been hugely encouraging and exciting. The attention to detail of the staff and key practitioners has been excellent and the help and support they have provided is superb. The online parent portal function is very neat
and easy to use, the quality and quantity of food is excellent and the nature of the 'small is beautiful' ethic around the whole building is perfectly suited to what we were looking at for our son's nursery. Open from 7am - 7pm for early drop offs, usually only 9 children in the room at any time with 3 staff, a mix of 3 or 4 different activities to engage with every day, always available on the phone if we want to check up on him and a great outdoor space where he can mix with the other older children from other rooms. Would highly recommend, very pleased.

One of the best nurseries in Reading area , very flexible 7 to 7 timings means we get ample time to drop off in morning and head to work. Also Care is premium, children are well attended to. I see my little one is happy being in wigwam. Food is quality and children love it.
