My daughter (2yo) is always so happy skipping into Quackers. The staff are great and they have so many different activities each day, she's always busy and comes home happy and tired. Thrilled we can go full-time in the New Year.

We have always been very happy with the care our son has received at Quackers. The staff are professional, knowledgable and caring, able to understand the different phases we have been through! We find the communication excellent and the nursery a very positive childcare environment.

We are very happy with Quackers and my daughter loves going there. The staff are so caring and cheerful and always have something nice to say at pick-up time. They have been very good about supporting my daughter with starting out at nursery and are happy to follow similar routines that we have at home.
The space/resources are clean and well-maintained. They have good processes in place for changing nappies and recording/reporting general information. The online portal is regularly updated with pictures so we can know more about her day.

We cannot recommend Quackers enough. Our little boy started in the baby room and is just about to start in the preschool room. It's a huge relief knowing that our son is well looked after and having a great time, whilst getting the enrichment he needs. We love picking him up at the end of the day and
hearing about all the activities, he quite often has to be persuaded to leave which just speaks volumes for how much he enjoys it. We've been so lucky to have wonderful key workers in each room, he's had a great relationship with them and clearly feels safe and loved which is all we can ask for. The nursery has a great family atmosphere which is rare to find, you feel like your child isn't just a number, but that all the staff know them and engage with them regardless of what room they are in at the time. Our new baby boy is due to start next year, there are no nerves or worries this time around as we know how amazing Quackers are and how well looked after he will be.

Our son has been attending Quackers for eighteen months now, and we are really impressed. From the start he has settled well, and really enjoys his time at nursery. All the staff come across as caring and attentive, and we can really see some genuine bonds between them and our little boy. He has learned
so much, and been exposed to so many wonderful activities and friends. We would not hesitate to recommend Quackers!

Our first child started Quackers in November 2021. As our child had a food intolerance at the time, it was essential for us to find a nursery which met her needs. A friend of ours recommended Quackers as their son had an allergy and we are eternally grateful for this recommendation! Now our second child
attends and both our children have endless fun and learn so much! The children are provided with so many opportunities- each week alone the older children have one sports session and one music session. Then throughout the year, the nursery organises opportunities such as a Christmas nativity, sports day, a farm visit and trips around the village. We are so thankful for these opportunities and the day-to-day learning activities with which our children are provided.

Our children love going to Quackers! There is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the nursery and the staff go above and beyond to nurture and care for our children. We love picking our children up and hearing about and seeing all the fun things they have been learning about. The staff put a lot of thought
into the activities they plan for the children - inspiring a love for learning from an early age. Communication with parents is fantastic and nothing is ever too much trouble. We are grateful to all the staff at Quackers for all their hard work and dedication to providing our children with the best care.

Best of the crop! What a godsend Quackers is, honestly like no other. Our little boy started in late 2023 and loves going. His bond with the staff is immeasurable and their support is pretty much 360. Their uniqueness lies in staff having mutual respect for all children and their families, multiplying
our boy’s confidence tenfold!

Our 20-month-old son has been with Quackers since January. Having started in the baby room and is now in the slightly older, toddler room. He absolutely loves it. The team give complete confidence that they really care and provide a loving and nurturing environment. We get a full report every day of
what he has been up to, how much he has eaten, number of nappies, etc, with extra details about little personality traits and friends, we know he has been given lots of care and attention and they treat him as an individual. He goes in really happy and is always smiley when we pick him up, usually getting stuck in playing with a group or having his tea. They also do fantastic activities - lots of painting and crafts, they set up themed play stations, he really loves their garden and its equipment, they also sometimes have animals visit and take the children out to see things in the village. We know he learns so much when he's there. We would recommend Quackers to anyone.

The staff at Quackers are all really professional, caring and knowledgeable. My wife and I work shifts and sometimes have short notice changes, but the manager has been really flexible to accommodate this. Our daughter absolutely loves coming here. She has blossomed from a tiny infant to a confident
and independent young girl (still only 2 years old!) and it is all thanks to the care and encouragement of the staff.

I could not rate Quackers high enough. They always go above and beyond. Clear communication, and great safeguarding procedures, which reassure and confirm that my child is in safe hands. The children get lots of opportunities for fresh air as well as a wide variety of activities and we love the fact
they are allowed to go for walks in the village.

We have been thrilled with the team at Quackers! From day one, they have been so accommodating, friendly, thorough and overall, brilliant! We love the updates we receive on our daughter's daily activities and overall well-being and development at nursery. We love how different each day is and the types

I cannot say enough good things about Quackers. The staff are incredible, the facilities are perfect for all nursery ages. It is wonderful knowing that my child is safe when I drop him off. He walks in every morning so happy to be there and that is worth every penny. They eat well, read lots of books
and invent some fantastic games to aid learning. My child has benefitted from their care and I would recommend them to anyone.

From the moment our daughter started nursery before lockdown, the nursery were nothing but communicative and supportive, throughout. Since being back, they continue to be supportive and as flexible as they can be with our personal situations and requirements. Our daughter loves coming to nursery and
I couldn't recommend Quackers enough. We noticed a huge development in our daughter only months after starting and I believe it has helped build her kind, intelligent and confident character.
I enjoy the inclusion we have in what our children are doing and I feel comfortable and confident, leaving our children there, knowing that they will be taken care of in the way I like. Our second child has since joined and it's not been as plain sailing, but as expected, the nursery communicates, supports and adapts to his needs, and mine and continues to assist in the best way, to support my son. I am looking forward to seeing the continual growth. Thank you Quackers, for being you.

We recently started our youngest at Quackers and are delighted with the support he's received with settling into the nursery. He was nearly 3 years old when he started and had not attended a nursery setting before, but in addition to his settling-in visits, it was only a couple of weeks before he was
happily looking forward to each day and recounting what'd he'd been up to at the end of each day. Our eldest also used to attend Quackers prior to this, having had to move him from his original nursery, as they were not able to adequately support a food allergy he had. We were delighted with the support he also received during his time at Quackers, both with his allergy and witnessing his all-round development while he was there. It is always apparent at pickup time how at ease the children are with the staff and each other, as well as the variety of opportunities and experiences Quackers, offer, so we would not hesitate in recommending Quackers as a nursery setting and have done so, countless times!

We could not love Quackers more. It feels like leaving your children with a trusted family member. The nurturing environment, varied activities and provision is second to none. We moved our older son here from a popular local nursery and since moving, he has really flourished. The supportive, loving
and hard-working team have turned his whole preschool experience into the wonder-filled and playful learning opportunity that every child deserves. Our younger son started in the baby room at the same time and we cannot fault the communication, provision and loving care we have experienced. Although the outside space may be smaller than some other nurseries, it is filled with well thought out equipment and resources and the variety of activities presented to the children is far wider than we have experienced previously. We feel that the smaller environment actually allows for more targeted provision and a more supportive approach.

We love Quackers! They have been absolutely fantastic with my son who, when starting, had extra health needs (which they managed amazingly). I have always been able to trust them completely to care for him, teach him, make him happy and keep him safe. I have older children who had attended a much bigger
nursery, but Quackers are my favourite by far, it has such a nice family feel and my son is always so excited to go.

Jenna Forey

Job Title: Operations Director and Nursery Manager

Joined: 2001

Jenna joined Quackers in 2001 as the Pre-School unit leader and after working her way up to Deputy Manager, became our Nursery Manager in 2009. Jenna gained her NNEB qualification in 1999 and her Early Years Degree in 2014. Jenna is the nursery SENCO and Safeguarding Officer.


Jenna is supernumerary which allows her to spend time in all rooms allowing her to share new ideas with the team and constantly improve what we do, which is something she highly enjoys. Jenna expects a high standard of care which was recognised in the latest Ofsted inspection “The manager sets high standards and provides strong leadership, continuing to raise practice across the nursery to give children the very best start in life”.


Jenna is a mum of one.

Beth Hollins

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Beth has been part of the Quackers family since September 2011, having joined us as an apprentice. Beth is level 3 qualified and shares the Manager Role, supporting Jenna with the running of the Nursery. Beth has extensive experience of working with children with additional needs.

Joined: 2003

Christina joined Quackers in 2003 as a Nursery Assistant and gained her level 3 NVQ in children’s care, learning and development in 2009. Christina has been the Preschool unit leader and Deputy Manager since 2015, supporting both Jenna and Beth.


Christina has a passion for learning through play and provides exciting and interesting activities for the children to experience and develop skills. Christina is also the Nursery Gardener and she can often be found with a group of children rattling around the greenhouse with the strawberries, cucumbers and tomatoes.
