My boy has been at Quackers for ten months now and I am always so impressed with how they look after the kids, they are all one big family. The days are structured, but fun, with lots of opportunities for learning new words, songs and actions. Health and safety is taken seriously and we are notified
promptly of any accidents. They are really supportive to parents and the recent parents' evening was brilliant and ensures everyone is on the same page with areas of focus. Moving up through the various rooms is done slowly at the child's pace and parents are kept informed throughout. All the staff are extremely friendly, approachable and genuinely love the kids they spend their days with. Absolutely brilliant and we would be lost without them!

The staff at Quackers Nursery are diligent, supportive and exceptionally caring. Having been a 'customer' at Quackers now for almost two years, I can confirm that I can so happy with the care that is given daily to my child. The staff know the children well and are keen to be involved in their care
and also to be on hand to offer advice and support for all aspects of growth and development. Staff have been really supportive during developmental stages and their kindness shines through. I think that's the most important aspect to highlight, the staff are so kind and my child responds to this style of care, well. The activities and tasks that children undertake are fun and really enjoyable and my child talks continually about what is undertaken on a daily basis. They are keen to ensure that children cover a wide range and also offer targets and ideas on how to develop progress at home. We are delighted with everyone at Quackers and can't thank them enough for all they do for our child.

Quackers Nursery have really lovely staff. They are very respectful and have listened to everything I want for my child. They have a great outdoor space where the children can run around, so messy play, and have lots to play with. They communicate very well and give me all the information I need to
know about my child at the end of the day.

My daughter has been attending Quackers since she was 9 months old. I looked around a few nurseries and Quackers stood out by miles and I am so glad I chose Quackers. My daughter has thrived from strength to strength there. All the team members are fantastic, they are all so loving and caring. They
provide lovely home-cooked meals with such a variety of foods over the three-week rota. We love being a part of the Quackers family.

We were sold on the family feel of the nursery and this feeling has continued since our daughter started eight months ago. Even with new members of staff or staff changing rooms, I genuinely haven't met one person who doesn't care deeply about looking after my child. There are so many art and craft
activities, outdoor time and genuine effort put into the development of my child, she looks forward to going every day. We recently had a very detailed parents' evening report and face-to-face discussion and I love the daily photos and updates. The range of food is also excellent and plenty of snacks are offered in between meals. I recently gave birth and feel that the staff genuinely cared about how I was getting on and if they could provide any further support.

I was very unhappy with this nursery. I have complained to them and been accused of lying, I have reported my concerns to Ofsted. The manager has been uncooperative and refused to acknowledge or apologise about the concerns I raised and have evidence to back them up.

I cannot praise the staff at Quackers enough. My son went there from 10 months old and has now left to start school, but he absolutely loved his time there, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. It is like one big family there. I will definitely be recommending Quackers to anyone I know.

This is my first review of a nursery, although my son went to 3 different nurseries.
The staff at Quackers are exceptional, professional, dedicated and so friendly. My son went to the nursery for a few months and he would run upstairs to the 'frog room' in the morning and would cry when picking him
up in the evening. I would always get drawings, pictures, and updated information about his day. Quackers is the only nursery that has managed to get my son eating his lunch and every morning when dropping him at the nursery I would smell the tasty meals cooked by their amazing cook!
When my husband felt ill and went to the hospital, the manager did everything he could to support us. His kindness and support helped me to focus on my husband knowing that my son was in a safe and amazing place.
Quackers is the only nursery that gave me peace of mind and where staff work so well together. I sadly wish that they were closer to my home!

My husband and I have always been very happy with Quackers. One of the hardest decisions as a parent is to leave your child in the care of strangers. However, as a working parent who needed the income, I had no choice, therefore, my choice of nursery was important. I visited a few and immediately felt
Quackers was right for my son and us. The nursery is clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly but also competent. They put your child's needs first and provide a wide range of activities which help to develop their skills. The food provision is also really good with fresh, home cooked meals cooked and prepared freshly each day.

My son has settled in well to nursery he has built a good relationship with his key worker and is always happy there. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming to me as a parent and my child. My son has been attending Quackers Day Nursery since he was 8 months old. The care and individual attention he receives has contributed to him developing into a confident and happy 3 year old. The staff has always worked closely with me and my husband and a team we have helped my son reach and exceed
milestones. When he was diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy the support from Quackers Day Nursery was outstanding. Their policy around nuts and allergy is flawless but it was the personal touch that made the difference between feeling "special" or like a "freak".

My daughter has been at Quackers since she was 12 months old. I was very concerned about leaving her and needed to be extremely comfortable with the nursery I chose. Since day one at Quackers she has totally thrived, she loves being there and is always very happy. The staff are very accommodating, fantastic
with the children communicate well with parents and provide a very professional overall service and a very high level of childcare. I would thoroughly recommend Quackers to other parents.

Quackers Day Nursery provides a fun and safe environment for my children, with an excellent management team leading dedicated and professional staff who aim to work in partnership with parents. The activities, both indoors and outdoors are exciting and engaging providing the foundations for many skills
and developmental needs. The food is of a high healthy standard and quite often my children tell me my dinners aren't as good as nurseries! I would and have highly recommended Quackers to any parents.

My daughter has been at Quackers since she was 1 (now 3.5), I can't recommend this nursery enough. The staff are second to none, friendly, approachable and extremely passionate about children and their needs. Very varied activities at all age levels which help with children's development, a real focus
on individual children's needs is shown throughout the nursery.


Healthy home cooked meals are served, with a great variety which my daughter loves.


My daughter adores all the members of staff but she respects all of them too, they encourage manners (a huge plus for me) and good listening.


They supported us all through potty training her, encouraging her with sticker charts and verbal encouragement which was so valuable when you are working 4 days a week, to have something significant like that supported by the nursery.
I really can't fault Quackers and that's why my son will be starting there this year as well, so he can start his Quackers journey just like his big sister.

Jenna Forey

Job Title: Operations Director and Nursery Manager

Joined: 2001

Jenna joined Quackers in 2001 as the Pre-School unit leader and after working her way up to Deputy Manager, became our Nursery Manager in 2009. Jenna gained her NNEB qualification in 1999 and her Early Years Degree in 2014. Jenna is the nursery SENCO and Safeguarding Officer.


Jenna is supernumerary which allows her to spend time in all rooms allowing her to share new ideas with the team and constantly improve what we do, which is something she highly enjoys. Jenna expects a high standard of care which was recognised in the latest Ofsted inspection “The manager sets high standards and provides strong leadership, continuing to raise practice across the nursery to give children the very best start in life”.


Jenna is a mum of one.

Beth Hollins

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Beth has been part of the Quackers family since September 2011, having joined us as an apprentice. Beth is level 3 qualified and shares the Manager Role, supporting Jenna with the running of the Nursery. Beth has extensive experience of working with children with additional needs.

Joined: 2003

Christina joined Quackers in 2003 as a Nursery Assistant and gained her level 3 NVQ in children’s care, learning and development in 2009. Christina has been the Preschool unit leader and Deputy Manager since 2015, supporting both Jenna and Beth.


Christina has a passion for learning through play and provides exciting and interesting activities for the children to experience and develop skills. Christina is also the Nursery Gardener and she can often be found with a group of children rattling around the greenhouse with the strawberries, cucumbers and tomatoes.


Chris is a Mum of two and Nan of four.
