At Little Pioneers Maidenhead Nursery there are four rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: two rooms for the 0- 2 year olds, one room for the 2 to 3 year olds and one room for the 3 to 5 year olds.

They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making small changes that deliver big environmental differences. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to make their own decisions to making a difference in the world.

They are big on happy children and that's why the have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world. They are also big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

Their app, ParentZone, keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress.

The nursery has two large, secure, private garden areas. There is a play house and a variety of outdoor equipment including bats, balls, bikes and a climbing frame with a slide and a tunnel. The children also have an allotment area where they learn how to take care of plants, herbs, vegetables and flowers and enjoy watching them grow.

Excellent nursery with a real personal touch for each child. Caring, compassionate staff. Meals are excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to other parents.
Staff also extremely organised and managed to re-decorate the whole nursery this Summer with very minimal disruption
to the daily routine in each room.
Excellent management which filters down to the staff in each room.

My daughter has bonded with all the staff members in her room and her hand-overs are always very personal!
I have very strict dietary requirements for my daughter that they always adhere to.
Fun activities are always available, and she brings home beautiful artwork!

My daughter is 2 yr 2 months old. She has been in this nursery for over 8 months now, and she is thriving. The facilities are great, including sufficient space for parking, nice big gardens for the children, and spacious rooms, all set up with different play areas. The staff are quite knowledgeable
and dedicated towards the wellbeing of children, and lead good behaviour by example. My daughter is attached to her carers, and the staff take interest in knowing the children. My daughter seems to be picking up words and other skills at a very good pace. The nursery has a home learning book system where they focus on a certain development activity for a month, and parents can then get involved with similar learning opportunities at home. Recently, they have started providing (almost) real-time updates on the major daily activities of children using an online platform, which is quite useful. I would highly recommend this nursery for parents looking for childcare options.

My daughter has been at The Cooperative in Maidenhead Nursery for 3 years and my son is due to start in April.
My daughters loves going the staff are extremely caring and nurturing and she has made some wonderful friends.
My daughter is an extremely fussy eater but she eats very well at nursery.
The
manager is great and any querys are dealt with quickly

It's a good nursery with plenty of toys, activities, and a garden.
The children get snacks, home cooked food and dessert.
Our boy is trilingual and staff have shown a willingness to encourage him in his learning of these.
Improvement areas are around staff retention. There has been high staff turnover
recently. This causes a bit of adjustment for our boy as they develop relationships with people.

The staff have gone to great lengths to make my son feel at home. He was a relatively difficult child to settle at nursery but with their patience and care, he now absolutely loves nursery. There's nothing better than opening a door to allow him into the nursery room and seeing him run off squealing
with his arms in the air! He's now so confident!
He's made friends which is lovely to see. Plus the staff keep us updated on his progress as well as photos & funny videos from the day.

My 1-year-old has only just started at The Co-operative Maidenhead but absolutely adores it. In fact, she cries when I put her coat on to take her home!


The staff are wonderfully friendly and approachable. It has immensely helped my return to work after maternity leave, as I know my daughter is

Brilliant nursery, been using since my little one was 10 months old. Workers have a great relationship with children and parents. Always kept up to date with what my child has done on a daily basis, food is cooked fresh and is a variety so they don't get bored. They do lots of educational games plus
normal play. Have recommended it to people I know as it's such a great nursery.

Maidenhead Nursery is a wonderful place for my little girl, I can't recommend highly enough. The team are amazing. My child is beautifully cared for, well fed and most importantly very happy. I very highly recommend this nursery. My daughter loved going to this nursery, she was well looked after by a professional and very friendly staff. The nursery had plenty of children around her age and it was easy for my daughter to establish many friendships. My daughter has been going to this nursery
full time 5 days per week from age 2 right up to her last day before starting school.


The nursery has also organised activities outside of the regular hours which my daughter was always keen to go to. Finally, the nursery management is professional, friendly and approachable, ready to help with any enquiries and problems parents may have.

I would highly recommend The Co-operative Childcare Maidenhead Nursery. My family and I felt welcome from the moment we stepped through the door.


All staff are amazing, friendly, happy and trained to the highest standard.


I know I made the right choice, our boys love nursery they have great fun,

On his first day, my vegetarian son was fed meat. I had filled in forms and informed staff he was vegetarian before he started. Staff are not engaging with kids in the preschool room, they are left to themselves. Staff complained about toilet accidents, saying 'I had to clean up his pooey pants, it
was disgusting' in front of the kids. Sending home pooey pants full of poo, no attempt to empty or rinse them. Sometimes threw away pants, even though I had asked on several occasions not to do this. Calling me (several times) to pick him up because he was 'a bit sleepy' - no sickness or temperature and fine when he got home. It seemed that there was little or no learning happening.
I must emphasise that this is my experience of the pre-school room. When my son was in the younger room, it was a much better environment and the staff seemed much happier and more interactive with the kids.
Administrative - bills were incorrect every month and I had to query several times to get it right.
