I am extremely happy with this Nursery. My son has been going here since August 2016 and he loves it!
I really like the layout of the Nursery, the outdoor space and the care that is put into the classrooms, making it look like a fun place to learn. They do a good variety of activities and the variety
of meals is excellent. The teachers are very good and make a big effort with each child.
I always feel like I am kept up to date on my sons day and activities and have recommended the Nursery to others.

Our little one has been with Busy Bees Hall Place since she was 10 months old. What a fantastic team they are, especially those in the tinies and crawlers rooms. Very caring and thoughtful, and the main thing being our little one is so happy to be there. Highly recommend.

I have 2 children at Busy Bees who both love it there. They settled in very quickly and have built really good relationships with their key workers. I feel that the staff there take a genuine interest in their welfare and development. They eat very well, they do a lot of creative activities and the
outdoor facilities are excellent so they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

The ladies at this nursery are fantastic with my daughter, it has taken her a while to settle in but everyone has been so helpful and caring with her. The outside and inside spaces are both very generous and offer children a lot to do. They are always teaching news things too. I would not take my children
anywhere else!

My son currently attends Little Robins for 1 day per week and he always gets excited and looks forward to his day there.
The office staff are always very friendly and polite and are very approachable.
One lady is always very friendly and nice in Little Robins and has been very willing to help me
to start my son's potty training. She has also kept me informed on his progress.

Both my daughters have attended Busy Bees at Hall place, the eldest is now at school and the transition was made so much easier as she was fully prepared by the amazing staff in pre school. My youngest is 19 months and the difference in her since she has started nursery is amazing. The staff are so
caring and I never have any worries about leaving her and it makes coming back to work so much easier knowing how happy she is. The outside space is a real plus for Busy Bees and the children are outside as much as possible along with being taken on lots of nature walks and to visit the animals which is lovely for them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Busy Bees to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

My son has been at Busy Bees for a couple of months now and I am so happy with my decision to move him.
I was originally sceptical about using a chain nursery but I couldn't have been more wrong! They have policies and procedures in place. If there are any issues, they can call on in-house experts
to help them work it out. The food is well thought out and cooked.
All the staff are very warm and friendly to both children and parents and after two years of hating going to nursery at the old place, I was delighted when my son asked me if he could go to nursery on Saturday!
I would fully recommend Busy Bees to any parent.
The environment is second to none, the grounds are beautiful with so many different things that they can see and do.

Busy Bees at Hall Place is a fantastic place and both myself and son are very happy every morning at drop off. The nursery make full use of the college grounds and they regularly go for walks and have some access to the animals on site. The pre-school has really helped my son flourish and I am amazed
at his French ability from the teacher that comes in. The rooms are all very engaging and the staff there really care for the children. I have used Busy Bees since my son was six months old and I really couldn't have asked for better care and support they have shown. I highly recommend this nursery.

My son started this nursery in march 2016 and he loves it! All he talks about are his lovely teachers from his room and he's coming along leaps and bounds. They are always saying what a polite and lovely little boy he is and I have the nursery to thank for that. He even eats food he will not even touch
at home and that's great so I know he's eating fresh nutritional meals and is very well looked after. All staff are easily approachable and very helpful and when I need extra sessions at short notice they always try their best to accommodate. I also love that you are able to have a 7.30 start this really helps me out with work. Great nursery

Current Review Score: 8.0 (8.035)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.0 (8.035) out of 10 for Busy Bees Burchetts Green is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.2 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.792 for Busy Bees Burchetts Green is calculated as follows: ( (19 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 4.792

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.243 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Burchetts Green is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 85 number of registered child places is 17. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 17 = 0.118

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Rochelle Anderson

Job Title: Centre Director

Greetings

My name is Rochelle.  I am a mum of two grown-up children, a son aged 34 and a daughter aged 30.  I have been in the early years sector spanning three decades and my interest in childcare began when I had my children. I studied to become a Montessori teacher which led to my setting up my two Montessori Schools, based in Buckinghamshire and Surrey.   Whilst running the schools, I continued studying towards my degree in Early Childhood Education.  I had the study bug and so continued on to qualify as an Early Years Teacher.  I decided to sell my schools after 21 years as I decided to embark on a Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management in Education with the University of Reading.

I have worked in several Independent and Corporate daycare settings and have acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience.  Additionally, I have been an early years consultant supporting nurseries through their compliancy and mock Ofsted inspections.  I am currently on a shadowing inspectors programme with Ofsted.
