Cedar Park is situated within 2.5 acres of rural, picturesque grounds. Providing daily access to all age groups, the fantastic outdoor space helps to support emotional and physical development.

They have a Childbase specialised woodland play area which brings the classroom outside into the natural world with sessions led by a qualified forest school leader.

A vegetable patch allows children to grow, harvest and taste their own produce which is served by a dedicated nursery chef.

The nursery teaches children to care about the world they live in and are proud to have gained an Eco-Schools green flag award

Cedar Park offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every other Wednesday for their Bumblebee and Butterflies room, and on a Friday for the Preschool room.

They offer a convenient service to parents, opening 7.30-6.30 Monday to Friday and a fully-inclusive package.

Both my boys have gone to Cedar Park Day Nursery. The Bumblee Bees team leader has helped one of my boys become a very confident and happy boy. I trust the team at Cedar Park to always look after them and give the children the individual attention they need.

With two children, we are approaching five years at Cedar Park Day Nursery with one more year left to go. We have been exceedingly happy with the level of care at Cedar Park, the many engaging activities for the kids and the important social skills the children develop with their peers and adults. I
certainly felt mother's guilt during many drop-offs, but was reminded each day of how much they get out of it. With happy faces at pick-up and details about what they had done that day, there's no question of the benefits. With childminders, there's the added concern of their own sick days, holidays and also - how do they behave if they're having a bad day? Is that one person a good role model? With many staff, an assigned key worker and the level of safeguarding in place - I felt a nursery was a better/safer option and Cedar Park was a stellar option. I also like their green ethos and how much they value outdoor play, no matter the weather. I only wish they could re-open the proper forest school.

Our daughter has been going to Cedar Park Nursery for two months now and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The nursery itself has lots of room and a large garden for the kids to explore. The staff have been brilliant at helping our daughter to settle in and have really taken the time to get to
know her.

Our child has been at the nursery for 18 months and we are very happy with the setting. The care, learning, resources, environment and staff are excellent. Our daughter has thrived. We looked at lots of other local nurseries and this setting is the most expensive but worth it for quality, especially
if you need the wrap around hours / all year round. Some things to be aware of: start dates and days of the week for part time can be difficult to accommodate. Also, they change the groupings/rooming and staff teams for a new school year. Whilst settling in sessions are offered, some children find this disruption unsettling as they readjust, it's like going to a new nursery for them. Smaller settings might not need to do this, so just be aware of that if your little one doesn't deal well with change. Think they used to have forest school leaders but not now. Otherwise, this is the best you will find locally.

My daughter has been at Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford) for just over a year now and the standard of care she has received in that time has been excellent. She settled in immediately and has always been happy to go to nursery each day. The rooms put on a variety of activities and tailor their topics
to the current interests of the children. The outside environment is fantastic and they are always going outside, whatever the weather. I love that the age groups in all the rooms are fairly close, which means the children are all at similar development stages. The staff at Cedar Park are fantastic and give the children individual attention. They give the children confidence and encourage independence from the start. My son 'graduated' from the preschool last summer and I know that his transition to school was in a large part so successful because of the excellent preschool at Cedar Park. Which really helps them across the year to gain all the school-ready skills they need.

I first looked at Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford) as a friend had recommended there. I was so impressed on my initial visit, my son started there at 15 months old. He absolutely loves it there and we, as a family, are so happy with the care and attention given to him. The communication and feedback
on his development are amazing. We also really value the healthy food choices and feel so happy with our decision to send our child there. Thank you so much to all the staff, you do a wonderful job, always welcoming and professional.

The fact that Cedar Park Day Nursery has a long waiting list and pretty much a September-only intake is testament to what an outstanding nursery it is. I waited over a year to get my son a place and I'm delighted with the nursery. The staff are warm and professional and even on days when my son has
a temperature, it is handled calmly and professionally (a very different experience to his previous nursery). I could not give more glowing reviews about the nursery - I only wish it made use of the benefits scheme.

My daughter started here in July this year and has just taken to it all in her stride. She loves the garden and is totally worn out from all of the exercise she gets. The staff are wonderful and the management are always quick to help if needed. We couldn't be happier.

My daughter is very happy at Cedar Park Day Nursery. She usually runs into nursery with an excited skip and a smiling face which is incredibly comforting as a parent working full time. The staff are always coming up with inventive and interesting things to keep the little ones entertained and help them
explore the world. The garden space is brilliant and the children are taken outdoors as much as possible. The food is great and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. My daughter is continually developing and learning new skills and I credit much of her progress to the care, attention and stimulation she receives at nursery.

My daughter has been attending Cedar Park Day Nursery for 3 years now since she was 18 months and we couldn't be happier with the care provided by the team across all ages and rooms. The facilities are great and they have an outstanding outdoor space where the kids spend a great amount of time when
the weather allows it. Food is good, with reasonable variety. The staff goes above and beyond to help the children thrive and are great to adapt to the personality and child specific needs. They did a great job during the epidemic's hardest time and we are very grateful for the support received during this period. My daughter is now moving to primary school and we know we will miss Cedar Park dearly.

Our son has attended Cedar Park Day Nursery for the last year (he's now 26 months old) and he absolutely loves it there. The staff are so caring and focused on the children, he is very happy every day that we drop him off and is always smiling when I pick him up. The room is bright and airy and they
spend a lot of time outdoors which we love (and he loves). There is such a great garden area, he loves his time outdoors. He has some dietary needs and we have been really impressed with how Cedar Park manages this, making sure he still has a very varied and nutritious diet and doesn't miss out on anything compared to the other kids. We love all the carers in his room, and the reception/office team are great too, always greeting my son personally when we arrive. I'd have no hesitation recommending Cedar Park Day Nursery!

We have always been really impressed by Cedar Park Day Nursery. The staff are great, very caring, they are very personable and they go the extra mile, such as real chicks hatching at Easter. There is a great variety to the food options and lots of space to run around outside in a quiet setting.

Our son attends once a week and absolutely loves it. We worried he wouldn’t settle well only coming once a week but staff have been so great with him and he’s come on so much with his talking and being around other children. It’s so nice to be able to drop him off and know he’s happy and not worry about
him. Staff are all so friendly and the site, with the gardens and open space, is perfect!

Rachael is the Manager of Cedar Park Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for 18 years. Rachael has numerous qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Children's Learning and Development and a Level 3 Forest School Leader.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
The amazing outdoor space, including our Forest School where the children can take part in exciting activities such as campfire building and den making.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of how my team go above and beyond to create a welcoming and inviting environment for both the children and their families.
