Cedar Park is situated within 2.5 acres of rural, picturesque grounds. Providing daily access to all age groups, the fantastic outdoor space helps to support emotional and physical development.

They have a Childbase specialised woodland play area which brings the classroom outside into the natural world with sessions led by a qualified forest school leader.

A vegetable patch allows children to grow, harvest and taste their own produce which is served by a dedicated nursery chef.

The nursery teaches children to care about the world they live in and are proud to have gained an Eco-Schools green flag award

Cedar Park offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every other Wednesday for their Bumblebee and Butterflies room, and on a Friday for the Preschool room.

They offer a convenient service to parents, opening 7.30-6.30 Monday to Friday and a fully-inclusive package.

Our son is thriving at Cedar Park Day Nursery. His confidence around groups of children and people generally suffered as a result of the lockdown restrictions and to see the growth in his confidence at seeking out new friendships and playing with the other children in his class at Cedar Park has been
wonderful. He especially loves the time they spend outdoors and the outdoor space they have at Cedar Park is a great resource. The staff in each class he has been part of are so caring and so responsive to his needs, he has formed wonderful bonds with the staff in each class he has been in so far and we are so glad we picked Cedar Park.

My daughter has been making brilliant progress at Cedar Park Day Nursery, thanks to the dedication and excellence of the staff. She loves to go in every morning and I know she is being well looked after and given healthy and nutritious meals. There is a good range of activities and a fabulous outdoor
area which is used daily.

My daughter is very happy and settled here. I am able to go to work knowing that she will both nap well and eat well. She has a great time whilst she’s there, getting involved in the different activities the nursery staff set out each day.

Very good standard, lovely staff, good resources and a really good outside space.
My daughter gets a lot out of being here and always talks about the staff and what activities she has been doing.
The sports activities that are put on in pre-school are fabulous and really good for my daughter's physical
development.

Our daughter joined the nursery at 11-months-old. The staff took the time to make sure they formed a strong bond with her.
There is always a different and fun activity planned for the day and we know that she has enjoyed her day, eaten well and been well cared for when we collect her.
The garden space
and amount that it is used is excellent.
We're very happy with our nursery experience to date.

Our son just loves going to nursery in the morning. We joined during lockdown and the support has been fantastic. The staff are all amazing and take such great care of the children. The outdoor space is really special and we are so happy that our son settled so well at this great nursery.

We are delighted with the care our son receives at Cedar Park. We really like that children are taken outdoors all year round and Cedar Park has a lovely setting for this. The way the rooms are carefully organised, the individual focus on each child's development areas, the regular updates we receive,
the food cooked in-house are all up to high standards but it's all down to the incredible staff. They do make Cedar Park exceptional. Our son has joined the Caterpillar room where he really enjoys his days at nursery and we've always received great treatment from all of the staff (with no exception). Our key person is always happy to give us updates on our son's development and will address any concerns we might have, sometimes even before we voice them, which for us as new parents is great. I would highly recommend Cedar Park.

We're really pleased with how well our daughter has settled at Cedar Park. She has lots of fun there and enjoys the varied activities and lovely surroundings. We like the relationship she has built with her key worker, who has definitely made her time at Cedar Park. We like that there is a focus on
being outdoors in all seasons. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds and it has been an excellent opportunity for her to socialise with others during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Having recently moved to the area, I am so glad we chose Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford) for both our children. Our son was here briefly before heading to school, but loved it so much. The staff are wonderful and kind and now my daughter is thriving after being here a few weeks. We love the gardens,
forest school and of course, the chickens!

I really can not recommend Cedar Park and its amazing staff enough. My son has been attending since he was 10-months-old and absolutely loves nursery. He is always getting up to fun and educational activities throughout the day, and we regularly receive updates and photos through the app showing us
what he’s been up to.

Both of our sons have been going to Cedar Park Nursery (Twyford) from age 2 and absolutely love it. It really sets them up well for school. The staff are awesome and always go above and beyond. School won't be able to beat their experience here!

Lovely to come inside Bumble Bees 1 and have a tour. Very impressed with the room and the room leader. Loved seeing the board with my daughter next steps and what she enjoys doing. Also great to see my daughter's family book and pictures on the radiator. Everything looks brilliant and hope my daughter
can start coming for a second day soon. Thank you for letting us visit.

Our daughters learning and confidence has grown significantly in Cedar Park pre-school. It is a friendly and inclusive environment. The teachers are always looking at new learning opportunities from maps, singing to black history month. They have plenty of time outside socialising with their friends.
The way the transition to pre-school was managed, especially with COVID restrictions has been impressive and we absolutely love Cedar Park.

The Management and the team are amazing at what they do! The preschool environment is a fantastic space and the children love being there. I couldn’t ask for more really.

Just had a lovely weekend visit to Butterflies room. They have made lots of changes recently and it’s really helped the children play better and enjoy the environment. They had a big acorn tree on the wall and the kids were learning all about growing things and planted their own acorns.

We were always happy with our child’s nursery until we moved location and he joined Cedar Park. This nursery really is exceptional. The effort that goes into making each day what it is, is nothing short of fabulous. The activities are planned with detail and attention, the setting is always inviting

We attended the open day on the 25th of October because my husband hadn’t had the opportunity to see inside the nursery. It was great, as a family, to have the chance to visit the nursery and for our daughter to see us in her environment - she was very excited. The team did a great job showing us around
and explaining what it is like day to day for our daughter. The manager is always friendly and welcoming every time we see her, so well done to her for managing the nursery so well. We loved the package containing a recipe and ingredients for cottage pie, this was such a lovely touch; in fact, we made it for our dinner over the weekend and it was delicious. We would like to thank all the staff who contributed, but a special thanks for those who worked on a Saturday to allow this to happen. Much appreciated.

Rachael is the Manager of Cedar Park Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for 18 years. Rachael has numerous qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Children's Learning and Development and a Level 3 Forest School Leader.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
The amazing outdoor space, including our Forest School where the children can take part in exciting activities such as campfire building and den making.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of how my team go above and beyond to create a welcoming and inviting environment for both the children and their families.
