Beeches is a small, friendly and well-equipped nursery located in Burnham, Buckinghamshire, within the grounds of St Peters School. It is a single storey building, designed and equipped to support children from 3 months to 5 years.

There is a cosy baby room for children under two years with a separate sleep room. The nursery can take up to 7 babies within this room on a 1 to 3 ratio. There is then a large open plan space divided into a Toddler and Pre-school room. Children aged 2 to 3 years, are based in the Toddler room, which holds up to 8 children per day on a 1 to 4 ratio. The Pre-School cares for up to 16 children per day on a 1 to 8 ratio.

The nursery provides a wide variety of activities appropriate to the child’s age and stage of development to support their learning, development and wellbeing. They follow the Early Years Foundation Stage within the setting, offering children a variety of experiences within the 7 areas of learning. Children are encouraged to be confident and independent learners within the setting; children have access to a wide range of accessible resources to aid their learning.

The nursery has direct access to a large enclosed outdoor play area which children use daily to extend their learning. Activities are set up daily within the outdoor provision including mark making, story reading, sand play and sensory play.

This nursery is one of the best in my experience. The staff are fanaticism and although lately there have been a few leave/room changes etc. it has not been disruptive to the children and they always seem very happy. My daughter has been here since 6 months old and through every stage of her care, learning,
needs, food and hygiene requests have always been met to the highest standard.
Would definitely recommend.

Beeches Nursery is a fantastic nursery. Both of our children have attended Beeches Nursery and we felt comfortable and confident with the staff from our very first look round and the invaluable home visits. We have always been happy to leave our children here in the mornings even on the occasion they
have been upset to see us go. They have made good friends and been well prepared for school.

I am very happy with the care my daughter receives at nursery. She has developed into a happy confident child. The staff are all very welcoming and interactive. The different activities are well structured and lead to a rounded day/week for the children.

The staff are all very professional and provide first class care whilst treating each child as an individual and taking the time to get to know them, forming close bonds. Activities are planned very well. Communication between the nursery has been excellent. We always feel very valued and listened to
regardless of the topic. I feel our daughter has come on hugely with her social skills and general development since joining the nursery. I would highly recommend it.

My two have been at Beeches for 6 months and love it. The care they have received in the baby room is outstanding. The home visit before they joined was a great idea. The variety of fun things they do is vast, today a zoo brought snakes and giant snails and lizards for them to see and touch, I've received
lots of photos today which is a regular occurrence so I don't feel like I miss out too much!
They both have eczema which the staff are happy to support in keeping under control which can be time consuming. Nothing ever seems too much trouble.
All the staff are so friendly, even in other rooms. My two have started to transition to the toddler room and the staff are doing everything they can to ensure they are happy with the change, it's very reassuring.
