Child First Aylesbury Nursery is a busy and vibrant nursery situated in the town centre, ideally located close to the bus and train stations.

The nursery cares for children from 3 months to 3 years, in a unique environment, with a large spacious nursery giving children the opportunity to explore inside and outside. At 3 years old, children transition to the sister pre-school at Rickfords Hill.

With lots of well trained and experienced staff, the range of resources and opportunities for learning are enormous; from painting and planting to running and building, resting and stories and being occupied inside and out – in weatherproof clothes.

The chef provides the freshly cooked food, made from locally sourced fresh ingredients and bread and biscuits are baked on-site.

The professional staff team are focused on providing the very best care and education for all of their children.

My daughter was really happy, and I was happy with the care there. There were nice activities they do lots of painting, playdough and mud which is great as I don't have to do the clean up afterwards but she still gets to enjoy these. The staff are really caring and always told me all about her day when
I collected.

A fantastic, warm and welcoming nursery. My child started a year ago at 6 months. Staff across the rooms he has been in are friendly and helpful, giving ideas on what can be done at home to improve learning. It is great to see that my child is having a lovely time from the observations that are shared
with home, as well as feedback at the end of every session.

We love this wonderful nursery. Such kind and caring staff who really go above and beyond for you and your child.
My two older children attended the nursery from a young age and they made it feel like a home away from home. My eldest now at school still asks to come back! They aided me in weaning
and potty training my children, I am so grateful for their involvement.
My toddler has just rejoined the nursery after a long period at home with me on maternity and the staff have ensured, even in these current circumstances, to be up to date with his wants and needs via telephone and provide settles for him. The nursery have my full confidence for when my youngest joins in September also.

My child has just started at the nursery, she is happy to go in and enjoy all the activities indoors and outdoors. She has a good relationship with her key person and all the staff welcome her in. She enjoys the lovely home cooked food. I am always given feedback at the end of her session.

We found Child First Aylesbury when we were looking for daycare for my daughter. Having recently moved to the area, we were not sure of how it was going to be. But we are extremely happy we choose Child First. In the past six months she has been there she has grown up so much. There are no words to
express. She has become very independent and started communicating a lot more than before.
She likes to come to the nursery and she gets along with all the staff. I can't thank the nursery enough for the care and support they have provided to my daughter. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery.

Child First Nursery has done a lot towards my child's development and supporting her through the time she has been at Child First Nursery. The staff are welcoming and friendly. My daughter has been attending Child First Aylesbury since she was 10 months old. 14 months on and she has come leaps and bounds and the nursery gave her confidence to perfect her walking and she now speaks very well and in full sentences, she’s less shy and can interact well with adults and children.
I couldn’t be happier with Child First Aylesbury, she will also be attending the preschool, also the food is amazing and always gives me food envy.

My daughter has been attending Child First since she was 6 months old. She is now about to move up to the pre-school. Child First has a great team of staff, all of which are happy and welcoming. Child First nursery is a brilliant nursery to send your child to. My son has been going here for nearly 5 months now and every day he comes home knowing something new.
He’s so happy to go every day and always comes home happy.
The staff are amazing with him and he loves them all. He loves the freedom
of being able to go inside or outside, my son loves being out in the garden so this is perfect for him.
The food is great, there are so many opportunities for him to try new things.
Being a single mum and being unable to work was hard so when I found Child First and saw how much my son loved the nursery made me feel confident and happy about going back to work. The manager is lovely and helped me sort out the payments.
I’ve recommended the nursery to a couple of my mummy friends and when they return to work they will be considering Child First.

Staff are really friendly and always greet my child with a smile and always seem positive and happy. My child is provided with delicious lunches and dinners and they have gone out their way to accommodate to my schedule. My child loves going there and is always very busy playing when I collect her at
the end of the day. She seems to have a good connection with the staff and happily goes to them when I drop her off.

With my son starting at the beginning of October I have found the nursery a warm and open environment where both myself and my son have been made to feel welcome. We get great daily feedback from our sons day which helps us to feel included, the variety of food all of which made at the nursery is amazing
and being a free flow nursery it has really encouraged our son's independence and curiosities.

My daughter's been coming to this nursery for a couple of months now, she goes 2 days a week. The amount of love she has for all the staff here is unreal. She has been taught so much and has become a very clever little girl, before she started in the baby room she was a shy little girl. Her leader in
the baby room has done amazing with her as have the rest of the team. The food is made fresh every day on sight and I can safely say looks delicious. I couldn't have picked a better nursery than Child First.

Jessica Ashton-Jones

Jessica has been working in the Childcare sector for the last 13 years and has been working within nursery management teams for 7 of those years prior to coming to Child First Nursery. Her approach is love, support, and guidance not just for the children but for the staff and parents too. Jessica is enthusiastic about the hygge approach and slowly she is incorporating this throughout the nursery. She wishes to promote awe and wonder for the children within the nursery through the curiosity approach. Jessica has completed her Level 3 Diploma ‘for the Children and Young People’s Workforce’ as well as further going on to do her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.

Francesca has been working in the Childcare sector for the last 10 years. She is very passionate about the safeguarding of children as well as providing an enriched and holistic environment for children.
