Nuffy Bear Day Nursery in Stoke Poges offers a caring, learning environment to local children.

Children's families know the development and safety of children is a top priority for staff at the nursery.

Children are able to develop their early years skills through a myriad of toys, activities and social experiences, whether they be child-initiated or adult-led. The mental, physical and social well being of each and every child is key.

The nursery serves delicious, healthy meals prepared in-house by the chef, and a free gym membership is available with every full time nursery place.

The gym staff are qualified to teach your child to swim from the age of three years tho help support all children being active.

Nuffy Bear offers amazing outdoor facilities including a forest school, a growing area and a separate garden for the nursery's babies.

Parents are supported by a flexible, inviting nursery, within which their children can flourish, children can immerse themselves in a wide range of fun, exciting resources, creative activities and free childcare (funding) sessions.

The nursery day can be split into sessions.

The morning session runs from 8 am to 1 pm, and afternoon session from 1 pm to 6 pm.

Full day sessions are from 8 am to 6 pm.

Both my sons attend this nursery and love it there. They are 2.5 years and just under 18 months old. My eldest has been there for over a year and my youngest just over 6 months.
They both settled in very well with the support of the ever committed and dedicated staff members. My eldest struggled with
his speech, but with the help and encouragement of the staff in the toddler room, he is now able to speak in sentences. They have both advanced in their social skills and behaviour. They have learnt etiquette and good manners from the nursery. They partake in the wide range of activities arranged by the nursery and bring home their work. We are given daily updates from staff regarding their eating habits, toileting and behaviour. If we have any concerns the staff are more than happy to listen and work together to resolve it. I couldn't imagine a better place for my children and am grateful to the staff for the positive difference they have made in their lives.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 15 months old, he joined in 2021 during the pandemic. Choosing Nuffy Bear Day Nursery during a pandemic was a difficult thing to do however we are so happy with our choice. My son is always happy to go to nursery and when collected. The staff are amazing!
They are so attentive with him, and each day I get thorough feedback of what my son has been up to, eaten etc.


His key worker always encourages him and communicates at all times with me. I know that my son enjoys going to nursery and that he is well looked after. All staff from management down to the teachers know each parent and child and shows they all are involved. The food quality is really good I know my son has a healthy balanced diet at nursery and has the opportunity to try different foods. Thank you Nuffy Bear Day Nursery (stoke poges).

My son has been going to Nuffy Bear since he was seven months old and he is now nearly four years old and we absolutely love the nursery! I always feel so safe dropping my son to the nursery girls and they are always so kind and caring towards him. My son is always so happy on the way to nursery and
when I pick him up and always says how he loves his nursery! The management team, the Manager and Deputy Manager, and all of the teachers are incredible and I am so lucky to have had the chance to find such a fantastic nursery for my son for all of these years. Thank you Nuffy Bear!

My daughter absolutely loved Nuffy Bear. The staff are so caring and it was such a good feeling knowing that she was being cared for whilst I was working. She had the best time playing and I don’t think she ever came home in the same outfit she started out in which in my book is a sign of a great day
getting messy and having fun! Her development came on leaps and bounds and she learned lots of life skills that she will carry through school and into adulthood. I am especially grateful to the staff there for their help as when she first started she was a very fussy eater but now she will eat almost anything which is a huge relief.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have been able to send my child to this nursery. The staff are wonderful, so understanding with my questions and requests as a first-time parent. They set up the nursery beautifully and always provide exciting activities. The nursery manager is fantastic, her
child care knowledge is everything you could ask for as a parent. I know that when my child is in their care they give the best care there is to offer.

Having to pick a nursery during the pandemic was such a hard job. Thankfully we made the right choice and our daughter absolutely loves her days at the nursery. All off the staff were really helpful before we joined and made sure the settling in sessions we tailored to us and not too regimented. The
ongoing support from the staff has been very good, they have always listened to our feedback and given us the time to talk if we have had any questions.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery. Our kids love it, my daughter especially, she gets so excited about going in! Nuffy Bear in Stoke Poges is a very professionally run nursery, very clean, friendly staff, and my son has been going there for a year now. He loves it and has grown and developed very well given the level of care and support he receives at the nursery. All the staff are really friendly, and they are
very professional; I would highly recommend this nursery. During covid lockdown, the staff and manager kept in touch, reassuring us and interested in knowing what the children have been up to. The transition back from lockdown was also handled in a very organised and careful manner.

Nuffy Bear is an incredible nursery!! The team at the nursery are all so welcoming and it really shows that they take pride in all of the children. My little one started when she was 10 months old and the team settled her into Nuffy Bear life very quickly. Now she is coming up to 2 years and she runs
in every day and ALWAYS has the biggest smile on her face when I collect her. She surprises us all the time with new words, new ways of playing, better social skills and good eating habits, which I believe she has learnt from being at the nursery. The interaction with the other children, the nursery setting and the activities they do really have brought out the best in her! Plus the forest school space is a great way for them to explore the outdoors! I would not hesitate in recommending the nursery (as this is my second child who has attended) - they feel like our extended family. Thank you to all the team at Nuffy Bear.

This is an incredible nursery! The staff are extremely caring and have brilliant relationships with the children. This shows through their knowledge of the children and how happy my child is when I pick her up every day. The nursery manager and her team work endlessly to ensure that all the children
reach their full potential and are cared for. I receive an in-depth report at the end of the day from the staff about how well my child has eaten and what she did during the day. I moved my child's nursery when she was 1 as I wasn't happy with the care she was receiving. I have built amazing relationships with the nursery and I feel happy and confident that my daughter is well looked after and safe. She has excelled since she has been there and her speech and language skills have developed faster than I ever imagined they could! I could not recommend this nursery enough. Thank you to the nursery manager and her team. I will be truly sad when my daughter leaves and am calling for an infant school to be built!

The nursery manager made the transition not only for my daughter but for myself too, when we decided to put our daughter into nursery as I went back to work. The time and dedication was outstanding and no other nursery manager or staff members made the effort to ease my nerves and understood how hard
I was finding this change. Fortunately, our daughter loved every step of this transition and we haven't looked back. Our daughter has grown and developed in so many ways. Most importantly, she is happy.

I was very worried about dropping my little one off at nursery to begin with, having spent a lot more time at home this time around. The manager and the staff at the nursery worked with me to make the transition as comfortable as possible. Almost a year on and the family feels a part of the nursery,

I have been bowled over by the amazing staff and the environment in general at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Stoke Poges. My two children have been there since February and I have never seen them happier and more relaxed about saying goodbye to myself and my wife when we drop them in the morning. The team
at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery are extremely calm, considerate and intuitive and my son and daughter immediately formed a strong bond with them. The varied activities and the imagination put into them (such as the outdoor forest school and the marshmallow toasting) is unique and a real talking point. Any behavioural problems or off days that the kids have were dealt with calmly and professionally. They even include a swimming lesson once a week for my son which is the highlight of his week and his swimming and confidence has improved so much. I cannot say enough good things about the team from the manager down. As myself and my wife work full time it's so reassuring to know our children are in such good care and having such fun.

Nursery hosted a Mothers Day Breakfast, an opportunity for mummies to go into nursery and have breakfast with their child. It was such a lovely experience, staff worked with the children to serve their mummy breakfast.


It was organised well and so cute to see children serve breakfast and I would

like to thank all the staff that made this event so wonderful and special for me and my son.


We have been with this nursery for over 6 years and always feel so welcomed and confident with the care that is provided for both our children.

We have found our experience with Nuffy Bear Day Nursery to be a pleasant one. Our son is always happy when we pick him up and staff are very attentive and give us a mini update on each visit. There is always something different for the children to do, be it an activity in the garden or an entertainer.


The

engagement we get to have as parents is also a plus, for example, the "WOW" moment cards that can be placed on the tree before entering the nursery.


Overall, the Nursery is wonderful, the staff always make an effort to talk to us, from the management to the nursery caterer.
Management, in particular, have been very approachable regarding any issues or questions we have which has been much appreciated. A big thumbs up from us and looking forward to seeing the great things continue.

Choosing Nuffy Bear Nursery has been one of the best choices we made for our child. He started the nursery when he was a baby and now he’s almost 4 years old. We have no negative comments about the nursery, the whole team is just amazing. The staff at the nursery are exceptional and have taken really
good care of my son. My son has learnt so much at such a young age and this wouldn’t have been possible without support from the nursery. We are going to miss our sons time at the nursery, but surely the whole memories will stay with us once he starts school.
