The nursery staff are excellent. The range of activities provided for the children to do is very good. My son loves going to Spring Nursery, the focus on outdoor play and nature-related activity is right up his street. The staff are caring and upload lots of photos of the children whilst they are taking
part in the daily activities onto the Famly app.

The team at Spring Nursery Baby Room are outstanding. Our little boy loves the staff and enjoys his time there. We love the app they use to keep us updated. The staff really cares about the children in their care and actively engaging with the parents in a positive way. A great team. Thank you.

Love Spring. I would like to start by saying what an amazing and friendly nursery Spring Halton is. We were extremely nervous about starting our six-month-old, all the staff we cannot thank you enough for the warm welcome, love and smiles you show our little man every time he comes. The team are very
professional and organised and we 100% feel confident in all of you. We are extremely happy to be a part of the spring family. Thank you all.

Both of my daughters have attended Spring Nursery. The staff have been warm and attentive to our needs throughout and always made/make great efforts to ensure the nursery is a warm and fun environment. My daughters were/are always doing arts and crafts which they love. The garden is a big, lovely open
space with plenty to keep them occupied.

Our son started at Springs in July after two years at a childminders. He initially struggled with the transition but his key workers were excellent. They treated him with a balance of care and tuff love and as a result, he settled in quickly. The range of activities he does on a weekly basis is huge
and as a result, we have seen an improvement in his confidence and skillsets. We have found the staff excellent to deal with. They have been friendly welcoming and reassuring through the transition period. I would highly recommend Springs.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. So much so when we walk past at the weekend she gets excited and wants to go in. The staff are so attentive and caring. My daughter has a dairy allergy and they provide her with alternatives and always check with me before giving her anything new. She mostly
enjoys playing outside and is able to every day no matter the weather. I especially enjoy the App and being able to see what she has been up to all day. I also enjoy the weekly photos posted. I cannot recommend Spring enough. I leave for work every day knowing she is safe and happy. What more could a parent ask for!

As a first time mother with a lot of anxiety around leaving my 11-month-old daughter, I could not have received a more supportive or warm welcome to Spring Nursery. The staff are affectionate, energetic, gentle, understanding and incredibly professional. They really do work tirelessly and I appreciate
the love and care that they show my daughter every day beyond words. I feel the staff have also looked after me as well as my daughter and helped me to adjust! Lots of reassurances, support and regular updates and photographs to keep my mind at ease. The nursery is in a fantastic setting with excellent indoor and outdoor areas for the little ones to explore. There is such a wonderful variety of engaging activities and play options - singing, exploring, arts and crafts, storytime, dancing etc. So many ways to inspire little imaginations. Thank you to the amazing staff for their incredible efforts and hard work. You are valued and appreciated!

Both my daughters have attended Spring Nursery from September 2018 three days per week. The staff are very attentive and certainly made the transition much easier to leave my very precious girls at nursery. They at all times, go above and beyond and have fulfilled our expectations daily. They care for
the children like they are their own. They are kind, caring and extremely hard working and we can’t thank the staff enough for their continuous hard work and commitment to the nursery. Both my girls love attending the nursery setting and often talk about the staff, asking if it is a nursery day. They go in with big smiles and leave with the same. Unfortunately, my eldest daughter has now outgrown the setting and has started school, but is always very excited to know she can go and collect her little sister and see old staff and friends. She talks about the nursery in such a positive way and says she misses it all. Thank you doesn't seem enough - keep up the outstanding work.

Spring Nursery RAF Halton is a wonderful setting for my child to learn and develop. In June 2019 the nursery sent me some wonderful photos of my 10-month-old child putting pieces of a puzzle into a frame. She was so happy. The staff are so attentive that my child loves going in every single day. The
setting itself has a wonderful garden with covered areas so the children get to go outside every single day and I am often jealous of the fantastic array of food that the children get. I am so glad my child has a place at Spring.

My son started this setting in January 2019 following a bad time in a previous setting. He was a little nervous to begin with but the staff were amazing. They always updated me that he was okay and settled via the Famly app after I had left, they always made me feel at ease and comfortable. All the
staff are very welcoming and friendly. The nursery itself is clean, there’s is so much for the children to do. The food is outstanding and my son enjoys his meals every day. The staff have so much love and care towards the children they look after. My son has progressed massively since attending. It’s a shame he leaves for big school soon.

This nursery is and has been amazing for my little girl, not only have they been supportive to us as parents, they have guided and helped mould my little one into a confident two year so far.

They are always beaming with positivity and you can clearly see the children’s welfare and learning is there

number one priority.

The staff are very approachable and the nursery itself is always very clean and tidy.

I would highly recommend to everyone.

I have found the nursery brilliant in every aspect. The staff are friendly, kind and caring. Always lots of different and stimulating activities for the children. When my son started they instantly picked up on the fact he was delayed with his speech and language. They referred him very quickly and
started working with him to improve it. He has since come on leaps and bounds with his speech.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.631)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.631) out of 10 for Spring Nursery RAF Halton is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.981 for Spring Nursery RAF Halton is calculated as follows: ( (106 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.981

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.65 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Spring Nursery RAF Halton is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 number of registered child places is 12. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 12 = 0.75

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
