In recent times, we have made lots of additions to our programme of extra-curricular activities, which includes: French; Playball; Forest School sessions in Riley Park for our Pre-School children; Wake up and shake up – an activity to energise the brain using cross-lateral movements; a cookery station which incorporates many aspects of the curriculum; range of bespoke activities which promote children's well-being and confidence, including Emotions Boxes and Chatterboxes; and Garden Champions, our own bespoke extra-curricular gardening activity which is supported by the Royal Horticultural Society’s School Gardening Awards training programme. This activity extends children’s knowledge of the outdoor environment, habitats, caring for living things, growth cycles and growing vegetation outdoors.
