A newly refurbished nursery, The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe, has been carefully designed to support children's development in a natural and engaging learning space. The modern and engaging rooms provide an inclusive space where children are free to play, learn and explore.

With space for up to 30 children per day, the smaller size makes the nursery unique, allowing them to offer a welcoming space where the team are able to get to know each child in their care. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

Recognising the importance of outdoor play, The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe ensures children have plenty of chance to explore the world around them and a brand new garden space is soon to be added to the nursery.

The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe is ideally located on the grounds of Manor Farm School so that when the time comes, the transition to ‘big school’ is as smooth and seamless as possible. They work closely with parents to ensure that the children are exceptionally prepared for their next stage of learning.

My daughter recently started around a month ago. She found it hard to adjust at first as it’s a daunting experience for any child to leave their parent but the staff were so attentive in making both me and my child feel reassured and comfortable within the nursery and before we knew it my child was
settled in and is having fun every day asking to go and play when she wakes up!
The app they use is great for updates throughout the day where I get informed about meals/nappies.
The nursery staff are always open to any requests/questions you may have too which helps me to feel at ease when leaving my child for the day.

Really great first few months at The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe, staff are really friendly and proactive with my daughter: playing, supporting and comforting her. Food is of a good standard and it's always clean and tidy in the nursery. They always do new activities and offer original learning
experiences for the children, including arts, crafts and food-related activities. I really am really happy with the nursery and how they have helped my daughter settle in.

My son is in the under 2's room and overall the experience with the nursery is inconsistent. Depending on which members of staff are working, handovers at the end of the day range from non-existent to detailed, as does the information added to the app. This leads me to assume that the care, attention
and engagement he receives in attendance follows the same pattern. I'm often told he eats well yet comes home thirsty and starving. All in all, we use this nursery for its convenient location, but would not recommend it.

Our child loves going to The Old Station Nursery. The staff are fantastic and look after the children brilliantly. The manager has really improved the nursery over the last 12 months. The children participate in fun activities including trips to the park. The garden has been refurbished recently meaning
the children have a great outdoor space. The small size of the nursery means the staff knows all of the children well and they really care for them.

Really happy with the nursery, the staff are amazing, One member of staff, in particular, is fantastic. Our son loves going in and clearly has a great time while he is attending. Old Station Nursery have simply been brilliant for my daughter, from comforting her during an emotional start to supporting her development (particularly the messy stuff you'd rather not do at home!), she has responded excellently. A big thank you to the caring and committed staff!

We've had a fantastic experience at The Old Station Nursery. It's a nurturing environment where the staff genuinely care about the well-being and development of children. One of the highlights is the renovated outdoor playground - it's clear that thoughtful planning went into its design to encourage
physical activity and imaginative play. The nursery's support for bilingual children is also commendable. They embrace and nurture linguistic diversity, helping children like my son maintain a connection to our family's language while also engaging with English. The staff's commitment to creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where children can thrive is evident in every aspect of the nursery, from the balanced and kid-friendly food options to the innovative learning activities. The team at 6 Days The Old Station Nursery based in Hazelmere are simply wonderful. My 18-month-old son has really started to come out of his shell and the development has started to grow. I am given regular updates from the team via the app and it is lovely to see him enjoying himself. The team are
always friendly and informative about my child's day when collecting, and always always asks on drop off how he is. Thank you for looking after him so well! I would recommend the team to other mothers.

Since starting at the nursery last August, my son has come on so much, from his speech to learning new skills and his development has clearly improved. Even more importantly, he settled in so quickly and built relationships with staff members, making him comfortable and happy while there. The staff
keep me updated regularly on food and sleep etc. and often include photo updates on activities which I love to receive. The nursery itself is clean and tidy and the garden refurb looks amazing. I can't find any fault at all and I am really happy sending my son into such a lovely place.

Lovely nursery with incredibly caring staff, who all know our son and take a genuine interest. Since the manager has taken over, so many positive changes have been made and this is clearly reflected in the children and also the staff. Staff retention for example has vastly improved. The new garden is
fantastic and the children are outside every day. We love seeing photos on the app and at the end of each day, hearing what he has been up to.

My little girl recently started at The Old Station Nursery and I have been thoroughly impressed from the very first visit. Every single member of staff is hugely engaged with their role and the children they look after. My daughter took some time to settle but the staff have been hugely supportive and
welcoming. I also love that they provide and publish a balanced and nutritious menu which has not been the experience of some of my friends with children at other nurseries so I am very pleased and assured by my choice.

The nursery staff are really caring and all have a lovely bond with my daughter. She really enjoys coming into nursery and learning and playing with the other children. My child has been attending the nursery for 10 months. She has settled in really well with the support of the staff who have made her feel very welcome.
The communication side is really good from both parent and nursery. Parent engagement is supported via a question of the week, regular email updates
and an open-door approach. The app is also a great way for parents to see what their child has been doing and for parents to share notes and media from out-of-nursery activities. This is now being used regularly by the nursery.
The children visit places outside of the nursery setting such as local parks, shops and local area. This is a really beneficial addition to the child’s lea ring environment.
overall my child is really happy with the nursery and often talks about the staff at home.

The nursery has been under the management of a temporary manager who has made some excellent changes over the past 6 months. Our child goes to nursery very happily and has improved his communication skills since moving up to the over two's room. They access fresh air daily and are about to redo the
external space, and are starting to do more out-and-about trips. The staff are all very caring and know him very well.


We hope to continue to see positive changes to the nursery as he continues there.

My little girl started here this year and loves it, and she's 2 years old has made lots of friends and her sentences have come along so well. The nursery always lets me know how she’s getting on at the end of the day. She only goes 3 days a week but on her days off is always excited to go back. I found
it very hard to find a nursery that would keep her clean, change her often and make sure she doesn’t get sore. The nursery always makes sure she’s dry and without fail, she will always come home happy and tired. The staff are wonderful and actually spend time with each child to help them individually and as a group. Her meal time has become so much better, she no longer eats in a high chair which is due to sitting with her friends at a table at nursery, she no longer throws food and enjoys sitting at the table with us. Also being a young parent the nursery helped us along the way as well. Overall the Old Station Nursery I can't recommend enough, definitely a lovely place for children to be themself.
