The Priory Day Nursery is situated in High Wycombe town centre within short walking distance to the train station. The nursery is open from 7:30 am to 6:00pm, 51 weeks of the year and welcomes children from 3 months of age to 5 years.

The nursery offers both half day and full day sessions and offers grant funding for children aged three and up. The nursery offers a home from home environment with highly qualified and experienced staff who ensure every child’s individual needs are met.

There are five brightly decorated rooms and a large outdoor area with age and stage appropriate equipment and resources. The nursery also offers extracurricular activities weekly such as yoga, French and outings in the local community.

The nursery also has a dedicated Health Visitor who visits monthly and has an excellent reputation within the local area.

    Term time and stretched funding is available for eligible 9 months as well as 2, 3 & 4-year old. We offer 15/30 hours per week over 38 weeks of the year as part of our term time offer and 11/22 hours per week over 51 weeks of the year as our stretched offer. Funded hours will be made available where applicable. Please note that the nursery term dates may not match local school term dates.

I'm so impressed with this setting that I'm gutted my son has not been here longer. Not only are all the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The nursery is bright, colourful and a wonderful place to learn. Organisation is very good as well as communication from staff. I have nothing but positive
things to say and would recommend to everyone.

Priory Nursery is a small colourful nursery. We have used this nursery since 2011 and will continue for our new baby. Our children always come home happy and tell me all good stories and with friends and things they have learnt.
The children are always involved in different activities. I would recommend
this nursery.

I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff and facilities are fantastic and my son loves it there. It is great to know I am leaving him in a fun and safe environment with people he likes.


The range of activities he is engaged in ensure he is always entertained and he loves playing in the

My son has been attending The Priory Day Nursery for over six months and he absolutely loves it. He has made friends and grown in confidence. In particular, his speech has come along in leaps and bounds. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and I believe it is a safe and nurturing environment
to leave him in. When my youngest son is old enough, I will certainly look to send him there too.

My daughter joined this nursery after previously being in a different setting for two years. My daughter has settled well and really enjoys her days at nursery. Priory Day Nursery has been an absolute godsend for our family, knowing that our little boy is happy, content and enjoying his day while we go to work, makes the day so much easier.

My daughter started attending the nursery in September 2016. She is very happy here. She enjoys playing with other children. Sam is complimented by a strong, dedicated team, which helps to create a warm and homely environment where children really do flourish. The majority of the staff have or are working towards their level 3 childcare qualification.
