Willows Nursery (Little Willows) is a small, friendly well-equipped nursery located within the safe and secure grounds of Carrington School in Flackwell Heath, Buckinghamshire.

Willows Nursery occupies two separate buildings with their own outdoor play areas. Little Willows for children aged 3 months to 3 years and Willow Tree for children from 3 to 5 years.

At Little Willows there are separate rooms for the babies and toddlers where a wide variety of activities are offered to accommodate the children’s age and stage of development. The baby room benefits from a separate sleep room. There is a large secure outdoor play area.

The nursery is surrounded by playing fields and open countryside and the children are taken on trips into the local area and get involved with activities happening in the local community.

They really do deserve 5 stars on all categories, if I could give 6 stars for one of the categories, it would be for staff. We have been really lucky with the most amazing carers ( although they are also great educators!). The manager is also very approachable and available for a chat whenever you need
her. Our daughter really feels like home in there. Almost every day of the week has a theme and its filled with really creative activites. I can not imagine sending my kid to any other nursery.

As a first-time Mum, it is incredibly hard letting someone else look after your child, especially when it's not a family member.
The staff at Little Willows and Willow Tree are incredibly warm and wonderful.
The nursery is small which makes the feel of the nursery cosy and makes transitions into
the next rooms easier as the children are familiar with all the staff, regardless of what room they are in.

We think the nursery is brilliant and both my children get so much out of it and are certainly much more confident little people as a result of the nursery and staff. One of my children has been going through a difficult couple of weeks and not wanting to go in (which is not like him at all). However,
the staff have been really good and have made many suggestions to try to help with his drop-offs. This morning he went in with no problems at all which was amazing (Thank you to the staff :-)). I like that the nursery is asking us what we would like him to focus on in terms of his learning.

The team at Little Willows are fantastic. The team in the baby room are just the best. They have had both my children since they were 6 months old. My youngest has recently moved up to the toddler room and has no issue at all. My eldest moved up to the preschool room in the summer and struggled with
the change, but two team members worked with him and us closely to try and settle him in. I have always felt, from all the staff, that the children always come first and they will bend over backwards to help them. The addition of the Famly app has been wonderful. To be able to see the photos of them and their various activities during the day brightens up mine.

A good nursery my daughter always has a good time and is in a happy place when I pick her up.
Ultimately my daughter is there one day a week but she does look forward to it.


My son is also very happy and settled he is always calm and chatty when I pick him up.
