We have a daughter who currently attends Wellies Day Nursery and has been there since she was 11 months old. Since her first day, we have been so happy with the care she has received there. All the staff are so lovely, nurturing and welcoming which is very reassuring as parents. Our daughter's development
has also come on leaps and bounds in the last several months, the staff seem to focus a lot on early education and development and it really shows. All children including ours seem very happy and content there at drop off and pick up. We get a lot of updates throughout the day too. Can't rave about Wellies enough! Such a lovely place and the best team.

I couldn't be happier with Wellies Day Nursery! Our daughter started when she was 10 months old, and from day one, I've felt so comfortable and reassured knowing she's in such a nurturing environment. The staff are warm, attentive, and really care about my daughter's well-being and development. The
activities are engaging and fun, and it's clear they put a lot of thought into creating a safe, stimulating space for the kids.
Our daughter has thrived since she started, gaining confidence and always excited to go in the morning. As a mum, I love the regular updates and communication, which really helps feel connected to her day. It's been such a positive experience for our family, and feel lucky to have found such a great place for our little one to grow. Highly recommend Wellies to any parents looking for a caring nursery.

We enrolled our daughter into Wellies at 9 months, starting 3 days a week and slowly increasing to a full week. She has been there right up to school and seamlessly transitioned from room to room.
We are thankful for the social and educational excellence at Wellies and it speaks volumes that she looks
forward to her day and bounds in each day without hesitation. To have a knowledgeable and open team we can ask questions of, all of whom have clearly genuinely cared about her wellbeing, has also been a welcome support. Consistency of carers and friends has also been evident - we know it is not the norm to have longstanding team members (let alone 20 years) and we've yet to hear of anyone leaving Wellies for anything other than starting school. As you will see if you take a tour, the facilities are also second to none, and being on a farm offers some lovely additional learning experiences.
We recommend it to our friends and have no hesitation in writing an outstanding review.

Wellies have been wonderful for our boy. Being a Covid baby there was a whole list of things he had not explored. Wellies gave him confidence, introduced structure and positive discipline, and really helped mould him into the most wonderful, responsive, helpful and grateful child he has turned into.
Never pushy, always encouraging, I really can say I would make the same choice of nursery again and again. The team are great!

Wellies is amazing with caring for our son. They’re set in a rural farm location reminiscent of my childhood in the US. Their adults to children ratio is great. They always have fun planned activities and are very very good at play that’s individualised to each baby specifically. Their communication
is top notch. Definitely recommend!

Our son started at Wellies when he was 11 months old and has recently left to start primary. We have been so impressed with Wellies and have no worries about him starting school thanks to all he has learnt and how Wellies has prepared him. He has loved every single day and made some amazing friends,
including all the staff members. He still gets excited to see his first carers from the baby room!
Our daughter has recently started Wellies and is enjoying the same standard of care. The manager and all the Wellies staff go above and beyond to nurture each child.
Would recommend it to any parent.

Wellies make learning fun and I've found they are very kind and understanding of the different phases my child has gone through. They show empathy and explain to my toddler instead of inflicting harsh discipline which is what we do at home and I like that he has consistent messaging at home or nursery.
They also give advice when asked regarding anything from constipation to potty training!
There's a big focus on outside play and sensory learning with a huge garden area and the nursery is on a farm so they get to see tractors and cows etc too.

My daughter started at Wellies when she was one year old and left for big school this past September. At pre-school it was noticed she was showing an interest in learning to read so they taught her - when she started school she could read already. They also helped her become a little more adventurous
when playing outside (she can be quite cautious) and encouraged her to explore nature. They always showed her affection and she was always happy to go in, looked forward to it even. This is why even though we have moved from the area we still take our son there - it means a one-hour drive twice a day but we would not have our son go anywhere else.
The manager and the team are superb. They are attentive and always happy. They really make you feel like your child is in good hands when you say goodbye each morning.

Our daughter has attended Wellies for the last few years and we love the nursery and preschool on site. The staff are just wonderful and the activities they do every day are creative and help the children to progress. The manager knows all the children and is easily approachable, just what you want
from someone running a nursery. It is such a fantastic setting amongst the fields and from the preschool building the children can see the cows and tractors. What better place to put your children every day! I recommend it to everyone and it was the best decision we ever made to send our daughter there. Our new addition will soon be joining her sister there and we couldn't be more confident in the fact she will be well looked after there.

Wellies Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery set on a beautiful farm. The children have a wide variety of activities each day. Children are treated with the utmost care, support and love from staff and are encouraged to try new things and do their best.
Staff offer additional support to children where
needed, which is greatly appreciated.
Our children run in with happy faces every day and are greeted by cheerful staff. When we collect, the children are full of the exciting day they have had with their friends and staff.
I have recommended Wellies to friends and colleagues and wouldn't hesitate to do so in the future. We love being part of the Wellies family.

Absolutely love Wellies Day Nursery. Both my children have attended, my eldest has just left for school and my youngest still attends. The staff are amazing, I always marvel at how they remember each parent for each of the children even if your child isn't in the room the key worker works in. I was
drawn to Wellies by the owner/manager's passion for her nursery and how engaged the children all are. The outside space the children have access to is amazing and both my little ones have loved looking at the cows and the tractors.
We moved out of the area but I ensured that my children still attended Wellies Day Nursery as I just couldn't trust anyone else.
I love the regular updates on the app they use so you get to see what your children have been up to whilst at nursery.
I cannot recommend Wellies enough.

Both my eldest children went to Wellies, and now my youngest goes, we would not send her anywhere else, even though we have moved it's well worth the drive as the care and service is exceptional! The behaviours they learn at Wellies are the building blocks for such good behaviour and inclusion. All
of the carers and the owner make the children feel so welcome and are so nice and engaging. I can't thank them enough for what they do each day. The outside space they have is amazing, so much space to play.

I can’t praise the Wellies team enough. Today was my daughter’s last day at Wellies pre-school as she starts school this September and she’s been there for 4 years.
My daughter has always loved going into the nursery, she’s formed lovely friendships with the children and her carers who really are
a credit to the nursery. My daughter’s development has also been so impressive. The outdoor space is amazing and being on the farm gives the children an opportunity to see the animals.
I have a nursery within a 2-minute walking distance however I chose to drive for 10 minutes to take my daughter to Wellies which I think speaks volumes about the nursery.

Wellies are simply amazing, both our children have attended from 8 months through to age 4, with our youngest about to leave for school. For the past 7 years, Wellies have been part of our family, taking the most amazing care of our children. The staff are so kind and caring and help to nurture each
child as an individual, rather than as a number. The owner who manages the nursery is truly amazing, from our first visit I felt her enthusiasm for ensuring they provide the best quality of care possible. You can see that she is investing back into the nursery with new resources and changing practices to meet new thinkings and requirements. Both our children have thrived at Wellies, and loved every minute of their time there, they especially love all the outside space. Our eldest was so prepared for school thanks to Wellies that the transition was so easy and have no doubt this will be the case with our youngest. I can't recommend enough this nursery.

Wellies is an exceptional nursery, when I had to put my son in childcare before I intended due to redundancy, the owner and her team put me at ease. My son has flourished since being at Wellies and I know he will surely miss all the staff when he goes on to big school. I already have registered my second
son who I know will love Wellies as much as his big brother.

Our son has returned to Wellies following the easing of lockdown and it’s so comforting to know he’s in such safe hands with the owner and her team. Ultimately, children of such a young age do not understand fully what is going on, so it’s good to see that whilst adhering to guidelines the children
are shown comfort and care when needs be. It’s good to be back.

Wellies Day Nursery is definitely a nursery I would highly recommend to family and friends. The owner puts the children first, and the staff care for each and every one of the children that attend. It is set on farm grounds so lots of outdoor space for 2-year-olds to run about, and he loves seeing the
tractors and the cows in the field. The owner is always there if you need support or just a little chat. The staff give you daily pictures and updates of your child’s day, which is great when you are working parents.

My little boy has attended Wellies for the past 7 months and I can see a vast difference in his social and intellectual ability. Mostly for me, I wanted my little boy to have fun when learning at this crucial time of his life and the opportunities provided to him by the wonderful staff and the encouragement
to enjoy the outdoors at Wellies allows exactly this. I would recommend Wellies time and time again.

Wellies is a bright, open, engaging nursery. The staff ensure the best relationships with the children and parents alike. Healthy food, first aid training are clear priorities for the manager and staff which is very reassuring. They offer services that set them apart from others inc the eye log system.
My child is happy here and has grown in confidence so much. I couldn't recommend Wellies enough.

My daughter has come on enormously since going to Wellies!
Staff spends lots of time with each child and are great at treating children as the individuals they are. The manager is also fantastic - open and always has the time to listen to any feedback or concerns, even if not related to the nursery.
The activities, which are regularly updated are stimulating and interesting and the children go outside into a lovely big garden as much as possible. The setting is warm, welcoming and fun!
I wouldn't want my daughter to go at anywhere else.
