Laindon Nursery is part of the Early Years Alliance (formally known as the Pre-school Learning Alliance) and provides care for children aged from 6 weeks to five years in a happy and secure environment, where quality care and learning experiences are provided by enabling environments and experienced and caring staff.

Laindon Nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in December 2018.

At Laindon Nursery the children learn through a variety of play opportunities, with all activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Children are cared for within two rooms.

The Little Learners room is for children aged from 6 weeks to three years old and is a calm, homely environment with plenty of sensory experiences for babies to explore.

Children have opportunities to explore painting, sand-play and play-dough. Little Learners has its own garden with a soft surface for babies to crawl and play on, with children exploring their own mud kitchen and water wall.

The Little Explorers room is for children aged two to five years, it has a variety of activities and has defined areas for all areas of learning and development within the EYFS, including an exploration area and creative area, where children can explore paint, glue, water, play-dough and sensory play such as foam, and gloop.

Children also have free flow access to their own garden within this room, which has a surfaced area and a grassed verge edge. The garden provides a variety of activities, where children have opportunities to discover and explore. It has defined areas of learning and development including a physical area, construction area, and music area.

I would highly recommend Laindon Nursery. My son joined the nursery at 7 months old and is still attending at 3 years old. The staff do their very best to make the environment a home from home and take the time to get to know each child individually and cater to their needs.
Every single member of
staff cares deeply about the children and has the best interests of the children at heart. We have complete confidence in the nursery and, most importantly, my son has a fun-filled day every day whilst also developing educationally and learning good manners and behaviours.

This is a lovely nursery, our daughter is so happy here. She loves the staff and has a great time. We receive regular updates via the app on everything that happens at nursery and it is great to see photos of her and how she is developing.

Since joining, my son has had so much help. His speech has come along so well and he understands so much more. His bond with the teacher is amazing and he finally enjoys going to school. I would definitely recommend this school.

A fantastic nursery. My son was the youngest baby there when he started (7.5 months old) but he settled really quickly and was always excited when we arrived. All the staff were fantastic especially his keyworker who clearly really cared about him, as well as two others. My son loved spending time at
nursery and playing with the other children. I always felt supported as a parent. I also really loved the family app, it meant that I could quickly check that he had eaten and slept and so be reassured that he was ok whilst I was at work. I also loved reading observations of his progress and seeing photos to know what he was up to. We only left because we moved house but we really miss the staff at Laindon.

My eldest daughter started here when she was 2, she’s now 4 and now my younger daughter who’s 2 has been there since September.
Never had any issues, the staff are all amazing. My girls have made a special bond with them especially one in particular but the place is great.
Highly recommend.

Both my children go to this nursery and they have a very happy and positive experience. The eldest will start reception this year and she is so prepared for it thanks to the support she received from this nurseries staff they are brilliant! My son is growing into a strong independent bot and I put this
down to the care and attention he receives at nursery.

Since the beginning, I had a good opinion for Laindon Nursery. I did look at other nurseries before I put my daughter into Laindon Nursery and the overall tour was good. My daughter had such a great teacher when she started and I really appreciate that. For almost a year she learnt a lot. The only problem
is that children are not supervised at all times and my daughter had a few minor accidents. Fortunately one of the best nurseries I've seen till now.

My daughter started in September 2015. Although it was a bumpy start as she cried when left, within 2 weeks she was settled and enjoying it. All staff are very friendly and kind natured, ensuring my daughter has a nice session. Clean, tidy play areas.
