My daughter has been attending Northlands Park for close to a year now since she was 9 months old. The setting took time and care to make sure me, my husband and daughter were all happy with the setup. The management team have been fantastic at helping me with setting up payments and juggling things
where possible to meet our needs. They have a lovely garden in the baby room and in the older kids room. There are lots of well displayed and organised play areas for lots of different preferences and needs. The menu is great and the schedule is fairly standard so makes it easy to change things at home to make her more comfortable with the routine. Everyone here is so friendly and really on top of things. I'm kept well up to date with my daughter's progress and activities and I'm informed of any incidents appropriately. I feel like they love and care for my daughter and she is definitely very happy there. Besides being with ourselves or close family, this is the best place she could be.

Very nice and friendly staff, they always keep me up to date with my daughter's activities of the day (eating, sleeping, playing). Nice rooms, with lots of toys, everything is well organised for different types of play (messy play, gardening etc). And the food is very good and healthy.

Although our 13-month-old has only been at the nursery for a short time, we are very happy with the care provided.

We have regular updates via the app so we know how our child is doing throughout the day. It's great to see the commitment of the staff which my wife and I really appreciate especially

with our son being so young.

I was apprehensive about sending my daughter to nursery. I was nervous about 'letting her go' and not being there if she was upset because of course, I felt that no one could look after and nurture my baby like I could. How wrong was I! The staff at Northlands Park Nursery are simply fantastic and are
so very kind and caring. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds in her development in the short time she has attended nursery.
I can't recommend Northlands enough 5*.

My son has ASD and attended here 4 years ago, his keyworkers were absolutely fantastic with him, they could not do enough for him. All staff were polite, the nursery is clean and safe for children. When it came to choosing a nursery for my daughter there was nowhere else I wanted her to go. She started
there this month and yet again cannot fault the nursery.

My daughter has recently left the nursery due to starting school, she used to come 3 days a week and couldn't wait to go again! My son started here last Nov and he was very shy, but always went to his key person and built a fantastic relationship with her. He is now 2 and a half therefore in the bigger
room, where his confidence is growing every time he goes and he now talks to me about his friends and what activities he has done. I'm so pleased I have found a great nursery with supporting staff. Thank you Northlands for being super, my daughter loved her time here and my son continues too!

My daughter started attending Northlands Park Nursery just before her 1st birthday and she settled in so well. She will be 3 in October. The staff members are so friendly and willing to help. I often ask quite a few questions and they are always more than happy to help. My little girl really enjoys
going to nursery, playing with her friends and learning new things. I would highly recommend this nursery which I have to a number of my friends.

A really friendly nursery. My daughter started at 8 months and I did not want to return to work leaving her at nursery. But she settled in really well and is thriving there. It was the best decision that we made for her.

A lovely nursery with excellent and friendly staff.
My little girl is so happy in the nursery that when I pick her up she doesn't want to leave! She likes to show me all the toys she has been playing with instead.
I feel like her key workers understand all of my little girl's idiosyncrasies and enjoy
looking after her.
I feel confident and happy that my girl is in a safe and professional environment.

A wonderful nursery, attentive, friendly staff whom I feel I can raise any concerns with. Parents kept informed of their child's progress through regular parents evenings, learning journals, verbally and through a new app. Lovely outdoor area, a bright classroom with separate activities laid out, children
are in small groups with their key person. My son has made close friends who are attending the school next door which I hope will ease his transition.

I feel my son has been given excellent opportunities to expand his skills and learn new ones, it will be a sad day when he has to leave for big school.

After using almost every nursery/pre-school in the area with my ever growing family, I can honestly say that Northlands is by far the BEST. My child who has GDD has spread his wings and turned into an amazing boy.
The staff at the nursery are amazing and it feels like a close family, the children always
look happy and the staff interact all the time with them. My boy LOVES it here. The staff are always on hand to give advice and are always up to date with the boring paperwork relating to my child. I wish I’d found this nursery for my older children!

Excellent facility, my daughter loves going to nursery and has since she started at 6 months old. Knowing she is safe, cared for and loves being there makes it easier to leave her. She has good relationships with all staff and I can’t thank them enough for the contribution they have made to her development.

The outdoor space was a big draw for me and she is clearly benefitting from their teaching. She is advanced and independent for her age and I feel fully supported and kept up to date by the nursery.

The app is fantastic to keep in touch. I have recommended this to many friends.

My daughter has been going to Northlands Park Nursery for just over a year and she absolutely loves it, she even asks at the weekend if she can go to school. The girls are absolutely great and are quick to respond to any issues that might come your way. Wouldn't look anywhere else for a better place
to start your child's future!!!

Cannot fault the care and attention given from all the staff here.
I am always kept informed on how my children are doing and I am always liaising with the key worker to work together on troublesome areas.
Very friendly, professional staff.
Would not take my children to any other nursery.

We recently had to cut down our son's hours at the nursery and were worried that it would affect him, but honestly the staff are so friendly and helpful is hasn't affected him at all, he has learnt so much since starting at Northlands and it never ceases to amaze me how much he learns from there.
I
genuinely believe my son is the happy, hyper and helpful boy he is because of all the hard work the staff at Northlands put in.

Keep up the good work girls.

My son has been in Willows class for nearly 1 year now and absolutely loves it. There are many toys and activities, lovely space outside and the staff are amazing, caring, gentle and kind. They support the individual needs of the children and are development focused. Communication between staff and
parents is excellent and in various ways, from daily update sheets, notices in the child’s wall pocket or a useful app that is being introduced. The food is a healthy menu that rotates every 3 weeks and my son regularly tucks into seconds!

Current Review Score: 8.5 (8.494)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.494) out of 10 for Northlands Park Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 3 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.944 for Northlands Park Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (34 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 4.944

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.55 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Northlands Park Nursery is based on 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.25

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 50 number of registered child places is 10. 3 Positive Reviews ÷ 10 = 0.3

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
